03/01/2026: What a wonderful discovery! Just off the main streets of Tropea, we had a spectacular dinner to round out our camper tour. Both the spaghetti with clams and the spaghetti with seafood were delicious and superbly seasoned, and the grilled fish was plentiful and tasty. Well done, guys, keep up the good work. The robot that brings the food to the table, assisted by the waiter, is a lovely touch. When we return to Tropea, we'll be your guests again. Best regards, Sabina.
30/12/2025: Nice, bright place with a variety of fresh seafood dishes. The wine offered is lovely, and the service is also excellent. Good value for money.

29/11/2025: Booked with The Fork. Located in a super chilled little square with soft lighting and an elegant atmosphere.
Helpful and professional waiters, food in line with the offerings of many restaurants in Tropea, fair prices, and excellent quality.
09/11/2025: There were four of us. The restaurant is actually located in a courtyard surrounded by old houses (some with their laundry hanging out to dry). A street musician came by and stayed for a full 40 minutes, playing incredibly loudly so we couldn't have a proper conversation.
The service seemed to be competing with each other... even though we already had a waiter, the owner came by and started the entire order all over again... if only she had actually brought everything... The food was okay – not what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant. And it was expensive enough for what it was.
So, not really...

25/10/2025: We stopped by chance for lunch, as it's actually the only restaurant in the village, and several people recommended it to us.
When we arrived, it was strange because we were the only customers.
The owners were friendly. We had a tasting plate, which was very good, followed by spaghetti montanara and rigatoni with eggplant, a real treat.
It was very good and plentiful for a very reasonable price.
If we pass through Soriano again, we'll stop for lunch.

01/01/2026: An extremely disappointing experience. Nothing met expectations, from the unprofessional service to the confusing organization. The most serious issue, however, was the complete lack of attention to food intolerances: a woman at our table with celiac disease received a plate of pasta that contained obvious residues of regular pasta. This was an unacceptable mistake that demonstrates superficiality and a lack of professionalism, especially on such a serious issue. Communication was poor and often unclear, resulting in wasted time and frustration.
The overall quality is significantly below what was promised and absolutely does not justify the expectations.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK.
22/10/2025: Disappointing experience.
Unfortunately, my stay at Agriturismo Il Borgo sul Lago was very disappointing. The pool was dirty and poorly maintained, the mosquito nets were broken, and the air conditioning filters were completely dusty. Overall, the entire property lacked maintenance: old furnishings, poorly maintained spaces, and poor housekeeping.
I also found animals in the rooms, which gave me a strong sense of neglect.
The location and potential of the place are good, but it needs more careful and professional management: as it is, I would not recommend it.

30/09/2025: As a location, it's not bad: you're right by the sea, and there are games for children. As for the food, the pizzas are good, but the first courses, at least in our case, were disappointing. The service is slow, but the staff is friendly. I recommend it for pizza, especially on Saturdays, as there's often a wonderful singing voice.

The food was a pleasant surprise: incredibly fresh fish, perfectly cooked, and presented with great attention to detail. Every dish was tasty and plentiful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat well and feel pampered. I'll definitely be back!

25/12/2025: Beautiful, wide beach, perfect for long walks, with many amenities available. There's a restaurant and a beach bar, where you can book a fantastic boat trip or even rent a boat, as well as pedal boats and more. Suitable for families and accessible to disabled guests, there's paid parking.
I recommend it because the sea is gorgeous here too, and it's very convenient for the services it offers.
The parking barriers are new; so far, everything's fine.
13/10/2025: From the outside, it looks unassuming. But the seating is very pleasant, and the staff was very friendly and personable. The fish was excellent, as was the caretaker. The price was very fair. It's a shame that today is our last day of vacation and we haven't found our way in before.

18/01/2026: The view is beautiful but very poor service. The woman receptionist and one woman member of the restaurant staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. It’s clear they do not enjoy working with people. For frequent travelers like us, this was a shocking experience.
28/10/2025: Cozy hotel, good breakfast, dinner not so good. The surroundings are a bit boring around the hotel.

07/12/2025: I was there with my family, unfortunately it was all negative. We had 3 grilled fish and a mixed fried fish, the grilled fish was burnt and the fried fish was soft and greasy, the hot house white wine was served in a carafe placed inside the ice bucket and to finish it off, lemon sorbet made up of 3 scoops of ice cream with a little vodka, all this with a truly excessive price both for the place that needs renovating and for the quality of food and service.

11/09/2025: Marina di Pizzo Calabro, short (sandy) beach with umbrellas a bit too close together. The pool is an additional fee and is very large with slides for the little ones.
Overall, the facility is well-maintained, with a spacious restaurant and bar and several areas managed separately.
The pizzeria is good, but the service is a bit apathetic.
Indoor and outdoor parking.

01/11/2025: My favorite place for dinner in Tropea. Delicious food at absolutely fair prices. Lots of fish dishes, a very good wine selection. The Osteria is truly a little gem, tucked away in a quiet side street in the old town. Anyone looking for a relaxing evening with good food in Tropea should definitely stop by.
27/10/2025: 100 points for the service, the friendliness, and the extremely good food. Oh, if only we had something like this in Austria, complete with the weather and the ambiance.
