02/03/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo e abbiamo avuto modo di degustare gli straordinari piatti di questo ristorante frutto dell’unione di materie prime di alta qualità e dalla sapiente arte culinaria dello chef. Dagli antipasti ai primi e secondi di pesce per concludere al dessert, hanno soddisfatto e deliziato il nostro palato serviti da un personale cortese e gentile. Una nota speciale, la splendida disponibilità del titolare. Posto unico!!!

23/02/2025: I had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant on the port in Maratea a few years ago and the experience was positive. The seafood cuisine is of excellent quality, with well-prepared dishes and fresh ingredients. All accompanied by a suggestive atmosphere thanks to the position on the port. A restaurant that I recommend to those looking for good food and a pleasant setting in Maratea.

16/02/2025: Excellent discovery. Seen by chance from Maps, we are intrigued by the atmosphere of a place that seems less interesting than it actually is. Instead, a triumph of flavours, our lunch based on fish, with very humane prices, and goodness, from the first to the second, passing through wine, desserts and bitters.

17/02/2025: Very warm welcome. Out of season, we were still welcomed with open arms, and the kitchen was opened even though we were alone in the restaurant. We ate very well and the service was excellent. The artisanal ice creams offered for dessert are wonderful! 🤤

18/03/2025: Best meal of our Italian trip. We arrived in Matera early evening on a Wednesday in March, a day when many restaurants are closed. Osteria San Francesco is a small family-run place, with a calm, modern, relaxing vibe. Excellent local dishes, which you can watch the chef prepare. We were the only guests in the restaurant that night. Lovely service, excellent value. I'd love to go back!

I am usually not adventurous at all when choosing food but as we are visiting friends who live in this town and they arranged a private meal with Chef Pepe I said I would try everything To say I was amazed at the flavour and deliciousness of each dish is an understatement Each plate of food was amazing. Complex flavours and textures Simply fabulous Our server was attentive and a great laugh as she chatted with us Chef Pepe came to our table several times to check on us We finished with a standing ovation for such a wonderful meal Note: I had some of the ravioli before the photo was taken. 03/11/2024: Little place found by chance. Nice atmosphere and very welcoming and friendly owner. We had an appetizer based on black Angus carpaccio and Lucanian canestrato (excellent) and two first courses. Really satisfied

01/11/2024: Cute little restaurant. A stone's throw from the center of Bernalda. Ample parking at the back of the venue. Typical dishes of excellent quality...courteous staff. Congratulations, a nice place to recommend...

14/10/2024: Excellent cuisine, fresh and well-made fish. Courteous staff and panoramic view. Prices are adequate for what you eat, perhaps the desserts cost more than I would have expected but it's still worth it. The only downside is the service which is slightly slow but we will definitely return for the quality we found

13/10/2024: Sleepy when out of season, this is a tranquil but easily accessed location off the coast road, part of a small hotel. Had sea bass (spigola) tartar and grilled area bass filet, with grilled and sauteed vegetables. Large windows take in partially obscured sea views, and the whole has a dated, rather 70s/80s feel. Friendly cat!

06/02/2025: Cucina eccellente a prezzi modici,ambiente accogliente dove la disponibilità dei titolari fa la differenza....quando sono in zona è una tappa obbligata.

26/01/2025: We're not quite there for the price simple nothing special. 2 starters 1 first course 1 second course 1 water €50 P.s. instead of bread they brought bruschetta but they made me pay for it.

01/02/2025: Meravigliosa scoperta! Location molto curata ed accogliente, servizio perfetto, chef superlativa!! Abbiamo pranzato benissimo e concluso in bellezza con dolci squisiti, caffè ed amaro delizioso. Sicuramente da rivisitare per gustare il restante menu

07/01/2025: In un borgo davvero suggestivo con una Cattedrale nota ed effettivamente da guardare in ogni suo angolo, il ristorante offre una cucina da sapori delicati in piatti curati e soprattutto originali. Antipasti di pesce e monti davvero non comuni. I primi e i secondi, sempre abbondanti, esaltano una cucina che innova bene la tradizione. Alla fine tutto leggerissimo.. complimenti!

11/08/2024: Only stayed for 1 night. Clean rooms and equipped with every comfort. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Good breakfast. I recommend and hope to return
