30/12/2025: We had a couples' lunch, looking for quality fish, especially raw seafood. We weren't disappointed at all; on the contrary, we couldn't find a single flaw. From the attentive and helpful service to the dishes, which were also carefully prepared, using excellent ingredients, and carefully crafted recipes to fully enjoy the flavor of good fish. It wasn't just a simple lunch, but an experience we'll definitely repeat.

09/01/2026: Everything was truly excellent: the quality of the fish and its cooking were spectacular, the portions generous and the fish was incredibly fresh. A better ventilation hood wouldn't have hurt; we left looking like we were fried.

08/01/2026: They differentiate between customers and don't treat them the same. When you see rotten, smelly fish, there's no respect for the customer, and then they charge you a lot without having eaten. I won't be back.

19/01/2026: We came for lunch on Sunday, and it was our first time at this restaurant. I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised! The appetizers were good (we had seafood salad and calamari gratin), but the main course was definitely the first course, and the excellent fried and roasted fish! The service was fast and very friendly. This is a highly recommended place, and we'll definitely be back! Plus, the sea view is beautiful!

06/01/2026: Returning home from a mountain vacation and wanting to have lunch by the sea, we randomly decided to head out to Pescara and visit Attilio's. Despite the unknown, we were rewarded! An ideal location for those who love dining while overlooking the sea. The food is excellent, the service is quick and very friendly, and the prices are decidedly reasonable. What can we say? We'll definitely be back.

13/10/2025: The portions were decidedly small, especially the appetizers, which were tiny. They served a mixed fried platter with three shrimp, a few squid rings, a few scattered octopus, and a red mullet head... The lemon sorbet was obscene, the wine was undrinkable. Disappointing.

16/01/2026: I'm giving it two stars only because of the courtesy of the wait staff. It's been a while since I've had such a bad meal. The appetizer was truly bland (the mussels were so small they were tender), and the grilled fish was so covered in garlic that it almost didn't even taste like fish. It needs a complete overhaul.

16/12/2025: I was very satisfied with everything, namely the location which seemed small from the outside but inside is spacious and modern with several tables, two waitresses albeit a little funny but quick and friendly and the raw and cooked appetizers were excellent... I will definitely come back to try the other courses as well as the mixed fried fish.

09/12/2025: We returned for the second year in a row for our anniversary, expecting the same experience we had last year. Unfortunately, it was nothing like it. What I found most unprofessional was that the owner personally contacted me to ask for honest feedback. As soon as I shared that we were dissatisfied, the conversation stopped entirely. Asking for a review and then disengaging when the feedback isn’t positive is not acceptable and made us feel disregarded as customers. Regarding the food, the paccheri with sgombri was not described on the menu as being served with sauce and was extremely salty to the point of being inedible. The cheesecake arrived still frozen inside. Very disappointing overall, especially given the occasion and our previous positive experience.

07/11/2025: A monument built on the ruins of a large Roman villa, inhabited until late antiquity, which between the 6th and 7th centuries became a castrum for the Byzantines who had retained control of the nearby port of Aternum (Pescara), a key landing place and intermediate port between the Exarchate capital of Ravenna and Constantinople. They evidently built the first nucleus of the historic Torre Alex (named after Alessandro Valignano, one of the lords of the Valignano di Cepagatti family in the 17th century). The tower was consolidated in the Lombard era as a control point for a strategic road junction at the crossroads of the S.S. Picena Aprutina and the routes leading up to Forca di Penne and the Aquilano area. From the 11th and 12th centuries, it became the seat of the lords of the Norman, Swabian, and Angevin fiefdom of Cepagatti, before passing to the Valignano family in the 15th century and finally to the current owners. The first archaeological investigations by the Superintendency date back to the 1970s, and continued between 1998 and 2011 in Piazza San Rocco, bringing to light important Roman-era artefacts preserved in the City Council Chamber. The restoration of the Castle has returned to the public the so-called "Sala delle Cisterne," a rare and authentic Roman-era cistern measuring 22 meters long and 4 meters wide, as well as the 340-square-meter "Sala del Grano," located on the top floor of the monument, with a panoramic view of the Pescara Valley. The restoration of the Marcantonio Castle, begun in 2008, represents a "place in history," and the over 2,000 square meters spread over four levels offer the possibility of hosting particularly evocative events. Unfortunately, it is now in decline due to problems with the owners and is closed. What a shame... It is closed and abandoned. We hope the municipality of Cepagatti buys it back.

A strategic location for exploring this beautiful and diverse region. We will definitely be back, highly recommended.

04/09/2025: We just left this B&B after three days of peace and quiet that rejuvenated our minds, leaving us far from the chaos of everyday life. Clelia is a delightful host who pampered us with her super breakfasts! The location is much more beautiful in person than it appears on the website, a bit like stepping back in time.
