29/08/2025: A dinner that was nothing short of spectacular!
An incredible seafood dinner. We found this place among the gluten-free options in the area, and we never expected such attention and organization, even down to the smallest details. The staff was attentive and friendly from the start. We had two medium-large dogs with us, and they were welcomed into the establishment. The waiter explained the gluten-free options, including homemade pasta, fried fish, and artisanal desserts. A dream for a celiac on vacation. The taste experience exceeded our expectations. A place we absolutely recommend and will return to soon.
28/08/2025: Excellent fried seafood and mixed grill. Excellent value for money. Plus, they're very friendly, which doesn't hurt.

12/10/2025: Aside from the beautiful sea view just steps from the castle, I want to applaud the owner, who is always kind and helpful. Beyond the wines and dishes on display, you can clearly see the passion he puts into his work. We will definitely return. The food is excellent.
11/10/2025: We went for lunch today and it was a pleasant discovery: excellent food, quick and courteous service, plus we delighted in a breathtaking view from the terrace directly on the oriental and to conclude Adamo (the manager) served us with extreme kindness and wisdom, we will definitely be back!

13/10/2025: Excellent fish dishes, streetside setting, but when the food is good, you don't notice. Prices are a bit high.
09/10/2025: A little pricey... but the fish is actually excellent, the service is excellent, and the location is beautiful. Outside, though I prefer inside, even if it's a bit small. In Ortona and the surrounding area, I think it's the best.

24/09/2025: We were on vacation in Ortona in July (Località Rido Riccio), and we decided to return to this restaurant after a less than stellar first experience in 2023. However, it's fair to say that the ingredients at this restaurant are amazing, perhaps among the best we've ever eaten on the Abruzzo coast. That said, let's move on to the sour notes. The service is disarmingly slow; you have to wait over an hour between courses, and this, unfortunately, makes the experience stressful and unnerving. Not only does it make your stomach churn, but it also ruins the atmosphere of what should be a relaxing dinner or lunch. It's truly a shame; the potential is enormous, but they absolutely need to address this shortcoming.
