09/10/2025: Last night I went to Carlo's Guakamaya pizzeria in Isernia, and as a true Neapolitan, I can say I ate an excellent pizza. Excellent dough, a soft and flavorful crust, and abundant, high-quality ingredients. The place was well-heated and served at the table by a girl who always has a warm smile, which really brightens up the evening. I recommend everyone try Carlo's pizza.

You're looking for a welcoming and warm place to enjoy an excellent aperitivo made up of many tasty snacks and a well-crafted spritz. Add to this an attentive, knowledgeable staff that makes you feel at home. That's what we experienced tonight. This place was a delightful discovery. 19/07/2026: Due to the poor reception at many restaurants, I sometimes prefer to avoid them. A good restaurant should have a modicum of love for its cuisine. We had the "misfortune" of having lunch at this "trattoria" 😞. Besides the decent grilled lamb 🤔, we enjoyed a paltry, passable appetizer, but the tagliatelle with mushrooms were nothing to write home about. Then the bill was decidedly inadequate. I hope for all restaurants that my criticism is constructive, because the vast majority have no knowledge of the restaurant business whatsoever. Professionalism is required, in addition to a meticulously crafted menu, especially in areas rich in raw materials. N.B.: A trattoria is a family-run establishment that offers complete meals based on local culinary tradition. Compared to a restaurant, it stands out for its more informal atmosphere, rustic setting, home-style menu, and excellent value. Origin of the term: The name derives from the French traiteur (in turn from the Latin tractare).

12/02/2026: We had a terrible experience here for lunch. The meat tasted like it had been cleaned with vinegar. The prices were very high for what we ate. A coffee was €1.50. Never again! The air inside was stale, and the bathroom was filthy.
