31/08/2024: Casale Maginulfo is located in the center of the town with internal parking and a beautiful garden for relaxation or an outdoor breakfast. Excellent local products, typical Molise cuisine. Excellent services, good first courses, plentiful appetizer, homemade desserts, helpful and welcoming owners Possibility of overnight stay upon reservation, medium-high prices but in line with previous structures. 18/08/2024: We decided to take a tour of southern Italy and stopped to have dinner at the L'Affresco restaurant, the only gluten free restaurant we found in Isernia, and we were pleasantly surprised by the family management of the business and their professionalism in preparing and present dishes that are of excellent quality. Try the roasted cod on chickpea and chilli cream. Compliments to the chef and all the staff.

05/10/2024: I can't say much, I was passing through, I had a coffee ☕️ with my wife and went to the bathroom. But next to the bar there was 1 lady preparing for lunch, the smell was good, she made homemade pasta 🏚 it was needed for lunch, unfortunately I left

09/01/2024: Ho attribuito due punti per il servizio, il locale in se è carino e moderno ma il personale un po meno. La cameriera si è rifiutata di servici al tavolo dicendo che “c’era troppa gente” con la differenza che al tavolo affianco c’erano alcune sue presunte “amiche” alle quali però ha offerto il servizio al tavolo (ribadisco che erano più di noi).

15/08/2024: Passing through Venafro I ate a pizza by the plate in this pizzeria bar at the tables outside. I must say the pizza was good, well cooked and well leavened. If you are not looking for a nice place but a simple and practical place to eat a good pizza on the fly, this is for you.

16/07/2024: What a fantastic place! We stopped here on our way to Campobasso. As American travelers, we found this a beautiful first experience in small-town Italy. The woman who waited on us was very helpful and friendly and explained some of the local specialties (my wife speaks Italian, I don’t. Mi dispiace). The food was fantastic, the prices very reasonable. Great travel stop between Naples and Campobasso. Mille grazie!

01/08/2024: Grande grande dispiacere… frequentato già in passato, torno per un pranzo veloce da asporto e… 9€ per 40gr di carne al vino bianco… Difficilmente sono a recensire negativamente, ma considerando l’ amatriciana del cliente che mi ha preceduto 8€ una penna che sembrava decisamente al sugo avrei dovuto capire che c’ era qualcosa che nn andava…

Da dove cominciare? - particolarmente interessante il poter passeggiare con la famiglia all’interno delle stalle e poter mungere le mucche - avere una azienda che produce e porta a tavola e che ti permette di comprare i loro prodotti. - personale accogliente e gentile che ti coccola durante tutto il pasto. I piatti: Semplicemente un’esperienza a 5 stelle! Pappa al pomodoro che sa di pomodoro, quello bello succoso e profumato. Prima pasta con zucchine e provolone che si amalgama alla perfezione ad ogni forchettata… Gelato di produzione propria per rinfrescare il palato. Che dire?!
