Good ingredients, rubbery dough, insufficient service and INADEQUATE toilet: no hand soap, no paper and terrible cleaning.
You probably pay the price for having traveled little and knowing little about catering..

This evening I waited about an hour and a half to get the pizzas, the justification after I got furious, since the tables after us were eating was that they had the wrong clerk, forty minutes before they had told me they were busy with the takeaway service.
Something has changed and in a negative but very negative way.
I don't think you will see me again after the impression I made with friends who came from out of town on purpose.
Something spectacular with a unique taste.

03/10/2025: The place is also beautiful, but the wait is incredibly long. We waited an hour and ten minutes for our food (a table for nine people). The meat was cold and chewy, with only TWO fries. We also ordered sandwiches, and the bread was FROZEN. Sorry, so much wasted potential, we won't be back.

Barbera is my absolute favorite place for aperitivo.
Their platters are truly substantial and, above all, made with homemade products: nothing frozen, nothing stale or dried. Only real quality! They have a selection of cured meats and cold cuts, delicious cheeses, and many homemade preparations. Last time I was there, I found myself trying a bread pizza with cured meats, a spectacular frittata, and a rustico with mushrooms that was literally out of this world.
And then… the prices!
Two Camparis and Prosecco, a Spritz, two estathés, and two platters for four people: €39. An incredible price for the quantity and quality served.
Plus, there's a vast selection of wines, all clearly displayed, and the staff is always extremely friendly.
12/11/2025: The venue is welcoming and well-maintained, with a pleasant atmosphere that invites you to linger for an aperitivo. However, the experience didn't live up to expectations: a standard aperitivo with a drink cost us €40 for two, a price that calls for greater transparency and attention.
For these prices, it would be essential to have a spirits menu available, so you can make an informed choice and avoid surprises. Furthermore, the waitress didn't ask which spirit we preferred: the first drink had one flavor, the second was completely different, without any explanation or choice.
A welcoming venue deserves to enhance its offerings with more attentive and clear service, because attention to detail makes the difference between a pleasant aperitivo and one that leaves you perplexed.

01/12/2025: With a group of about 30 dog lovers, we found ourselves by chance but fortunately at this establishment.
The results were clear and unanimous: very good value for money, excellent raw materials, and fast and punctual service.
Well-kept, clean, and comfortable rooms.

The appetizer could be improved: I recommend a bowl for the pickles, otherwise the oil will end up among the cured meats. Anyway... the quality/price ratio is okay.

From the little we managed to eat, even trying, our digestions were blocked that afternoon.
My partner and I, on August 28th, ordered a beef tagliata and a plate of tagliolini with mushrooms. The tagliata, in our opinion, was mutton and was overcooked. When we mentioned this to the owner, he told us it was a special Argentine meat, and regarding the cooking, he said they no longer knew how to regulate it because the place was frequented by Belgians and French, who wanted it rare.
We were speechless.
The meat left on the plate, even though we love eating it, out of curiosity, we took it to a trusted butcher, who jokingly told us it could have been 'dog'... but then assured us it was mutton.
No comment.
As for the tagliolini with mushrooms, they were floating in half a plate of raw oil, which created a nasty, tasteless white mush with the flour from the mushrooms themselves. The mushrooms were inedible!
This is what two gourmets wrote. Despite our complaints, the owner made no attempt to make amends.
