28/02/2026: We're longtime customers, having been frequenting Mexicali in Lecco for over fifteen years, ever since the legendary Rita's. We love both the food and the ambiance (except for the snake in the window). I love the warm atmosphere and the music, and the food is also very good. We eat fajitas and tacos. We're sad that there's no longer a loyalty card like there was years ago. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

14/12/2025: Unfortunately, the only redeeming feature of the dinner was the drinks (and the themed decor, which wasn't bad). Perhaps our expectations of a Mexican restaurant were too high, but when my tacos—"with tender chicken strips" (quote)—arrived, and I found myself with a reconstituted product that tasted like chicken, and the pulled pork was (perhaps) tasteless pork, more like baby food, I realized our mistake. Clearly, the staff isn't to blame for this; it's a company policy. But the rest of the dinner (empanadas, chili cheese, queso nachos, quesadillas, beef jerky) wasn't any better: all barely warmed to a crisp, served with indifference. When the menu specifies that the images "are purely indicative," they mean it: what's served has nothing to do with the photos of mouthwatering delicacies. By then, we'd ordered, we were hungry, it was late, and I never waste food. When the girl at the cashier asked me, without even looking at me, "Is everything okay?" I honestly didn't know where to begin, and since they were already sweeping the floor around the few remaining occupied tables, I thought a response would fall on deaf ears. So I'll leave my response here for those who, unlike me, have the good sense to read two reviews before choosing a place to eat. If it had been cheaper, I would have been more aware of the poor quality. At least now we know where NOT to eat in the future!

30/09/2025: Caballo Loco has become my favorite place, and this is coming from someone who goes by LadyGold103 ✨👑. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was being watched like a diva: the lights seemed designed to enhance my golden aura, and the tables welcomed me as if I were an incognito VIP (even though I'm never incognito 😏). The food? Good. The drinks? Okay. But the real experience here… is ME. When I go there, I transform: I'm no longer Martina, I'm LadyGold103 – queen of Caballo, princess of cringe, emblem of trash. People look at me, and I think: "You're witnessing history live." 📸✨ I even made a toast alone in front of the bathroom mirror, because if you don't love yourself, who loves you? 💋 I recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat well, but especially to anyone who wants to meet me, the living legend of Caballo Loco.

01/02/2026: The place is "nice" but nothing special, the quality of the meat and sides are quite good but for the prices and especially the small quantity once the dish arrived... it was a bit disappointing, not very worth the money spent, also €2.50 cover charge for cutlery and napkin... Not even a little bit of bread or anything else included in the price...

21/02/2026: My colleague recommended this Mexican restaurant. Truly excellent. Delicious food. I had the beef fajitas and they were delicious, my partner had the Mexicali chili and it was also excellent. The portions are just right. I also recommend the desserts; the tequila misu was very good. We had a great experience with the staff; they were very friendly and helpful, even though the place was packed. For this reason, we had a bit of a wait for our food (also because the dishes are freshly prepared, especially the ones we ordered), but with a few appetizers as starters, the time flew by and the wait was almost non-existent. We'll definitely be back, especially to try other delicacies from the menu.

27/12/2025: The restaurant is very beautiful, having been created in an existing structure, with brick walls and a very high ceiling. The furnishings are beautifully crafted, and the exposed brickwork lends a very authentic feel. There are some cold drafts (in winter) from the right wall, perhaps coming from the windows; this should be addressed. The food is truly excellent, as is the service.

17/01/2026: The food was average, the prices reasonable, but the staff were terrible. The black woman at the counter was rude and dismissive, perhaps because we arrived at 3:30 PM while she was doing her own thing, and we disturbed her. A pitiful and shameful scene... be careful with your staff, because they're a fundamental part of the experience you offer!

09/01/2026: We love coming here because the food is good. Over the past two months, we've noticed that the crisis has also affected the quantity of dishes, which has halved, while keeping the prices the same. Really disappointed by this. Go back to the same level as two months ago so as not to lose regular customers. I'd also like to add that today, after twenty-one minutes of waiting at the entrance, the staff continued to charge everyone who left their table, even if they weren't already at the cash register, rather than seating us. We've changed locations for dinner. A real shame.

28/12/2025: The waitresses were incredibly unfriendly; they practically kicked us out of their restaurant while we were eating. We waited 30 minutes for two quesadillas. Absolutely not recommended!

08/02/2026: The music was perhaps too loud for conversation, but the tables were well-spaced. The food was good, but I don't recommend ordering the same dishes or pairing them. For example, two of us had mixed fajitas, while the third had beef fanitas, and the portions for the two of us were practically the same as the one for the guy who ate alone. Aside from that, the place was nice and the staff were welcoming, right in the center of Treviglio.
