21/04/2026: Nice atmosphere, but the worst chicken tacos I've ever eaten. A lot of tough chicken, carelessly crammed into a taco shell. No sides whatsoever – no tomato, lettuce, or anything. Visually and in terms of taste, it was a real disappointment. Anyone who's ever had authentic Mexican tacos will be sorely disappointed. The tiny bowl of guacamole that comes with it is simply a joke. Having lived in Mexico for many years, we always look forward to a Mexican restaurant. This one was a huge letdown.

It's not your typical elegant white-tablecloth Mexican place: it's casual, noisy, and fun. You come in to eat, and you leave wanting a party. The burritos: The absolute stars. A large tortilla, seared on a griddle with just the right amount of burnt edges. Inside, you'll find everything: moist, spiced rice, crispy breaded chicken, melted cheese, lettuce, and tomato. There's also a "redder" version, probably with chili or meat. They're perfectly sealed: compact, they don't fall apart, and the filling doesn't escape. Generous portions: one is enough for a full dinner. The plating is simple but thoughtful. A square white plate, a sprinkling of paprika, drops of salsa that "dirty" in a deliberately street-style way. Always that little tuft of lettuce with jalapeño on the side: so you can adjust the spiciness yourself. To drink: In addition to the classic Coca-Cola can, they have gems like "La Muerte - Mexican Beer Amber Ale." A crazy label with the El Musico skeleton playing the guitar. The amber beer is perfect with the burritos' rich flavors. A detail that shows how much they care about the theme. Experience: Fast, friendly, no-frills service. 21/05/2026: We were so excited to find a Mexican place in Florence! The food was absolutely delicious! We got the chicken tacos and guacamole which were both so flavorful. The tacos were also huge! By far the best Mexican food we've had in Italy. The space was large and festive. There's a huge amount of indoor space and a gorgeous outdoor area for dining too. Highly recommend if your looking for some good Mexican food in Florence!

The food is authentic, and as true Mexican cuisine enthusiasts, we can say it's among the best restaurants we've tried in our travels around the world. The service is impeccable: fast, friendly, and super efficient, with dishes that are always carefully prepared. A well-deserved five stars! We highly recommend it. Plus, there's ample and convenient parking, which isn't always a given.

07/05/2026: We went to Stuzzicantina for the May 1st long weekend, and I have to say it was a truly unique experience. We found a place with a warm and authentic atmosphere, which makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. The food was fantastic: simple dishes, but prepared with love and care, very tasty and satisfying. Everything we ate tasted like cooking made with passion, and you could taste it. The staff was truly kind and hospitable. We were very impressed with their hospitality and helpfulness. Stuzzicantina is a place worth recommending, and we recommend it wholeheartedly. We will definitely be back, because it's a place that makes you feel good and makes you want to come back. If we could give it ten out of five stars, we would without hesitation.
