05/04/2026: We went on Friday for aperitivo, because it was one of the few places with free seats.
They don't have high chairs for children; we ordered two spritzes, a toasted sandwich, two meatballs, and two mozzarella sticks. Aside from the small number of people and the fact that it took twenty minutes to deliver everything, the disappointment came when we got the bill, which was €44.
I find it completely out of line considering the decent quality of the food.

We've been returning to Gellius Restaurant for years, and each time we find it reassuring. The cuisine is classy, precise, and distinctive. The open kitchen produces masterfully crafted masterpieces. The service is friendly and never intrusive, and the wine selection by the glass is consistent with the dishes. We were won over by the carpione sea bass, the tagliatelle with cavolo nero and hare, the spaghetti alla chitarra with truffle, and above all, the pigeon, which alone is worth the trip. The flavors are international yet firmly rooted in the region. The bill is substantial but absolutely in line with the offerings. The Michelin star is certainly no accident.

05/04/2026: An exceptional restaurant for the quality of the food and service, the style, and the location overlooking the vineyards and the Piave Valley. The food is simply fantastic, and the chef takes great care of every detail. My wife couldn't eat the peach sorbet because "the chef had finished his work and left." That's never happened before, and I'm not being confrontational; in fact, I'm saying it to emphasize the care they put into a dish that seems so easy to put together. Their prosecco is also fantastic, especially the extra dry. Finally, the staff is extremely kind and professional. We'll definitely be back many times!

The dishes were good, pasta al dente. The main courses were well cooked.
I was disappointed with the tiramisu (too soggy, mascarpone barely perceptible, and other things...not presentable). In a place like this, it should be served individually with a nice cream.
Good service, the girls were nice.
The apathetic lady at the cash register didn't even smile, by mistake.

03/02/2026: We went there for dinner with two children. Everything was excellent, even the recommended off-menu dishes. The children's menu (pasta with ragù or tomato sauce) arrived before ours, as requested. I highly recommend this restaurant. I feel sorry for the other customers who had to put up with our UNCONTROLLED children. Clean environment, excellent service, varied menu, and very kind and friendly staff.

01/04/2026: The service at this restaurant was extremely unpleasant. The staff behaved impolitely and made customers feel unwelcome. Instead of a friendly and professional attitude, we were greeted with grimaces and constant insinuations, which made the whole experience tense and uncomfortable.

21/04/2026: Inedible vegetarian pizza, left on the table for the first time in my life: paltry mozzarella and tomato with tons of industrial vegetables preserved in liquid for the lowest of palates.
Pizza €11 with a small beer €17.50: unspeakable management because elsewhere, seeing that I wasn't eating it, they would have at least offered to make me a different one; instead, they even had the nerve to lie, denying the vegetables were preserved in that disgusting liquid. Not even the kebab shop that sells pizza for €3 or €4 uses the preserved vegetables from the subway...

Price/performance ratio is perfectly fine.
Since you have to pay at the buffet, many Germans unfortunately don't leave a tip! Embarrassing!
07/04/2026: Food was good, my Carbonara had a bit too much sauce for my taste, but that’s a mere trifle.
Staff was very different in terms of attention to us, some kept forgetting stuff, but all were friendly.
The old building and it’s interior are fantastic!
It’s great they had a little playground outside and ample parking. Only an EV charging station would be a great addition.
