We've been returning to Gellius Restaurant for years, and each time we find it reassuring. The cuisine is classy, precise, and distinctive. The open kitchen produces masterfully crafted masterpieces. The service is friendly and never intrusive, and the wine selection by the glass is consistent with the dishes. We were won over by the carpione sea bass, the tagliatelle with cavolo nero and hare, the spaghetti alla chitarra with truffle, and above all, the pigeon, which alone is worth the trip. The flavors are international yet firmly rooted in the region. The bill is substantial but absolutely in line with the offerings. The Michelin star is certainly no accident.

04/03/2026: I went for lunch for work without checking the standard (which is medium-high) first, but they were courteous and attentive in treating me appropriately. It's a charming place and the food is excellent.
02/03/2026: We visited the place upon recommendation and since we came in the late evening from the south, driving by some steep roads, we were very sceptic about what to expect. But once we entered the trattoria, all the doubts simply vanished. The service was great, the food was exceptional and we left the place with "underpromise and overdeliver" written all over our smiles.
Definitely a place to visit again!

20/01/2026: A wonderful experience, a lovely, elegant, and well-kept venue. The service was prompt but not overwhelming. I ate a delicious raw ham paired with a good glass of wine; I also saw other interesting dishes circulating around the dining room; the presentation was certainly well-crafted and the courses delicious. The entrée was interesting, but the dessert was a bit subdued; I found the express meringue to be rather bland. It was certainly good, but I expected something more; not that this lowered my rating of the venue, which is definitely 5 stars.

03/02/2026: We went there for dinner with two children. Everything was excellent, even the recommended off-menu dishes. The children's menu (pasta with ragù or tomato sauce) arrived before ours, as requested. I highly recommend this restaurant. I feel sorry for the other customers who had to put up with our UNCONTROLLED children. Clean environment, excellent service, varied menu, and very kind and friendly staff.

Everything is absolutely DIVINE! And it always has been divine: when I was a child, every occasion was spent exclusively at this temple of good food and classy hospitality!
Sublime food: their Venetian-style liver and buffet deserve a 100? Inimitable.
Impeccable service with waiters who love their job and make you feel like a true lady for a day! Giacomino and his staff are legendary and inimitable! If you need a restaurant for a special occasion or to make a great impression, you've come to the right place.

12/02/2026: Like it used to be, a family-run bakery with excellent, quality products. From sweet to savory, there's something for everyone. To be honest, the only thing I'm not entirely fond of—but that's just my personal preference—is the pizza, which is a bit too greasy. 😐 The prices are fair. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area. The lady at the counter will be able to give you the best advice.

25/02/2026: We were treated terribly. They wouldn't let us pay properly, separately, and they were completely unreasonable. We missed our flight because of them. It took us ages to pay, about half an hour, and they scolded us for talking so all the other customers wouldn't leave. The food was good, but the customer service was awful.
04/02/2026: It was our first time, recommended by mutual friends: a very pleasant experience.
The menu offers a wide selection of starters, main courses, one-pot meals, pizzas with a wide variety of flavors, side dishes, and desserts.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food, but the real highlight of the place is the magnificent owners and their extraordinary staff.
Both exceed expectations, providing moments of great kindness, understanding, and dedication.
Besides feeling like family, you are treated like royalty, and every whim is catered to.
I sincerely recommend visiting this unique family-run pizzeria and restaurant because you will be delighted!

04/03/2026: I'm eating at Chic this evening. I was passing by and stopped in, partly because of the good reviews. Excellent pizza. Congratulations.
P.S. I read Angela Blancuzzi's review, where she wrote that the place is closed with a "for rent" sign. The place is OPEN! Perhaps it would have been better if she had stayed in the clinic!
02/02/2026: Stopped by for lunch on the day of pre-hospitalization in Monastier... roast beef and spinach, coffee, water, fixed menu (second course only) €14... quick, generous dish... very good, I'll be back, leave a 👍 if you liked the review
