16/09/2025: The food was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming. Go in early since the place can get very busy.
12/09/2025: The Crostini with deer ham & finferli mushrooms and the Tagliolini in white ragu and black truffles were exquisite. This was easily the best meal in Cortina D’Ampezzo.
No reservations, get there early.

17/10/2025: Absolutely incredible! The gnocchi was cooked to perfection, the parmesean chip on top was a delightful touch. The grilled fish platter was exquisite, the fish was juicy and flavorful, the calamari had great bite and flavor. Lastly the lemon cake for dessert, wow!, fluffy texture with an absolutely mouth watering icing. The waiter was very attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend if you're ever in or near belluno!!!!
14/09/2025: Amazing spot where you can stop for some food on your way to the mountains or on the way back. Their pizza dishes are just some of the best locally and they also have a great beer selection. The place is pretty big so you should be able to find a table. Highly recommend it.

16/09/2025: The food was really, really good. A mushroom pasta first, and a beautifully pink tagliata di manzo second – very good. We also shared a pizza autore; I wasn't familiar with the concept, but if I had known earlier, I would have started one.

12/09/2025: I tried to eat there on Thursday, but it was packed :( We went early on Friday and got a table!
The service: both are super friendly. We come regularly and certainly didn't have to wait too long. The food is some of the best we've had on our vacation. You can taste that this place is all about local, homemade cuisine and dishes. Super tasty without too much fuss. Truly delicious. And compared to the area, the prices are anything but unreasonable.
I'd say: come eat here!
A tip: the semifreddo with amaretto!

During the day the views of the mountains through the window is also really nice. We got the Sea Bass made in a special way in salt which was really tender and fresh. Lobster linguine did not disappoint either! Would come back

20/07/2025: Not a positive review at all. We booked Wednesday afternoon for a night between Saturday and Sunday. We arrived Saturday morning around 11:00 and were told to come back in the afternoon because the room wasn't ready. We returned in the afternoon after 4:00 and were told they had no rooms available, so they redirected us to a nearby B&B where we found a modest room with a shared bathroom. Thank you and congratulations for the helpfulness of the B&B managers, but at the Hotel Giglio Rosso there was no excuse for what happened. It was absolutely unacceptable in this day and age, and above all, the rude staff turned their backs on us and walked away when we complained about it, and on top of that, they wanted to charge us the full rate...absolutely unacceptable and disgusting handling of the problem. ABSOLUTELY NEGATIVE REVIEW

01/10/2025: We were starved coming back to our hotel after a day of hiking and climbing. Even though the restaurant had closed, they seated us. allowed us to order pizzas and did not rush us at all as we ate our delicious dinner.
