17/06/2025: Low reviews on google are so irrelevant. How could you rate 1 star to a restaurant that does not accept you because they are full at the moment and you don’t even bother to turn up early? 1 star because of the system is just diabolical. Cancerous reviewers. Anyway, the food was amazing. The spaghetti with tomatoes (couldn’t remember its name) was my fav, simple yet rich in flavor. I love all the food we ordered. House wine - red is definitely not disappointing. Definitely worth your effort to come early at 7pm when they open for dinner and book yourselves a table.
11/06/2025: Today we ordered salad, steak, fish fillet, truffle pasta, caramel pudding, and a liter of red wine. Every dish was delicious and we had a very happy and satisfied meal.

08/06/2025: We took a norma and a bellunese. Both well seasoned and really tasty. For me they deserve a nice 10. Too bad we couldn't have dinner outside in the open air, it was hot inside.

08/03/2025: Abbiamo assaggiato primi fatti in casa, pappardelle e gnocchi, molto buoni, anche polenta e funghi porcini, davvero gustosissimi. Punto di forza il servizio, simpatia e cortesia come raramente incontri. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità. La scelta dei vini può migliorare nel rapporto qualità prezzo.

02/06/2025: The food is really good! From pizza to simple things, like the cutlet, everything has a special flavor. I work nearby and I often go there with colleagues: even when there are many of us, they are always precise and punctual, never once have they made us wait. It is one of those places where you know you are on the safe side, and you always come back willingly.

30/06/2025: We came to the restaurant on purpose. We arrived at 8 p.m., the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. and the restaurant at 10 p.m. They told us they were full. A gentleman who was paying said he was leaving and that we could stay there. The waitress ignored us and didn't say anything else. She was arrogant. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, and if you come on purpose, it might not be the best idea, so you don't waste time and end up hungry like we did.

What was absolutely unacceptable was the service. We were rudely left standing because we only spoke English. We actually speak German, so it's understandable that this isn't possible here, but a certain amount of English should be possible, right? We didn't have any side dishes like bread, etc. All the other local guests at our table get them. However, we were charged the coperto table fee for side dishes, etc. They also paid no attention to us, so we couldn't order more drinks. It was simply impossible...

Excellent food and breathtaking view from the terrace
22/06/2025: We couldn't go to the restaurant we originally planned to go to, so we happened to stop by on our way back to our accommodation.
The venison we tried for the first time really melted in our mouths, and the potato sauce that came with it went well with it.
When we showed them the pasta photo we saw in a review, they said that it was no longer on the menu, but they were happy to make tomato pasta for us!
We also ordered a glass of wine, and the food and wine were both delicious, so we ordered an extra bottle, and the tiramisu we ordered for dessert was so delicious that we almost fainted again ㅠ ㅠ
We were moved by the fact that they made us realize that venison is delicious, and by the pasta they made for us. ^^
(It turned out that it was a local restaurant, so the line was really long after we got in ㅎㅎ)

18/06/2025: It is located a little bit outside of the center of town, but the atmosphere as well as the dishes are totally splendid!
the waiters were all so nice and helpful, they even made a special dish with the freshly delivered seafood. I would recommend this restaurant for anybody and any occasion.

26/01/2025: For me a very bad experience. A disproportionate bill for the dishes and drinks offered.
12/01/2025: Back after a few years. This place remains a sound option for quality dining in the area. The a la carte menu contained several appealing item (a few of them not available on the the day, but replaced by other attractive ones), but we went for the "water" 5 course menu (the other two are "earth" and a mixed one).
The cuisine is personal and never run-of-the-mill, with good ingredients. Some dishes were decidedly impressive - we especially liked the first two, a trout in a sort of hollandaise sauce; and a stuffed squid in a delicious tomato sauce, a pleasant contrast in style with the preceding one. The other dishes were less spectacular, either because of imperfection (tuna very salty), or simply because they did not pack such a punch in terms of flavour. But they were all enjoyable and we finished them all with pleasure.
The room is quite intimate and welcoming. Service is friendly. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the produce and of the cooking.
I hope this small restaurant, by now an institution in the area, which attracts both locals and tourists like us, continues to thrive.

25/05/2025: Local located at the entrance of the village of Sottoguda (one of the most beautiful villages in Italy) restaurant pizzeria managed by a nice gentleman from Nepal, offers typical local dishes and various types of pizzas. Perhaps the only flaw is that the place would need a renovation in the furnishings being a bit dated.
