19/04/2025: Wonderful tavern! Based on the reviews we read and on the advice of friends we wanted to try this place. Pleasant environment in every respect, refined furnishings, open oven and grill in the restaurant room, an extremely positive note on the staff regarding professionalism, friendliness and friendliness. Large and detailed menu, excellent prices. We had an appetizer, 2 cuts (with lard and chef's) and side dish; starter with delicious products, wonderful cuts and top side dish... what can I say... congratulations to the manager and all the staff! We will definitely return because in Passignano you are a guarantee!

22/04/2025: Da diversi anni non tornavo al sottovento,non so neppure se sia cambiata la gestione..ma il posto è sempre bello e accogliente,il servizio gentile.
Ottimo il cibo,forse anche troppo abbondante; nota di merito per l'astice,veramente ottimo.
Prezzo adeguato
22/04/2025: Finalmente uno chef che sa veramente cucinare il pesce, abbiamo preso gnocchetti fantastici e grigliata meravigliosa.. l’antipasto carrellata di pesce leggermente “corto” se lo dividi, perfetto per una persona ma era buonissimo veramente; ci siamo seduti fuori e sembrava di stare in barca a mangiare pesce.. bellissimo pranzo
Unico consiglio, un filo più di attenzione nel pulire il guscio delle cozze, a parte questo tutto perfetto.
Non vediamo l’ora di tornare!!

21/04/2025: Piatti molto ben fatti con ottimo assortimento di prodotti locali. Carpa, persico, ottima anguilla al coccio. Cortesia e familiarità ottima come i piatti.
22/03/2025: Era da tempo che avevamo puntato questo locale, ma per un motivo o l'altro non eravamo mai riusciti a realizzare questo progetto, comunque credeteci: l'attesa è stata ampiamente ripagata!! Il signor Carlo e tutto il suo staff, si prodigano per farti sentire a proprio agio, cibo superlativo! Abbiamo preso l'antipastissimo, un vero tripudio di sapori, poi la carpa regina in porchetta ed il tegamaccio ai funghi, tutto buonissimo!! Il locale non è grandissimo, ma è ben sfruttato e nel rispetto delle distanze che ancora oggi è bene mantenere memori di un passato non molto lontano. Esperienza positivissima, grazie sig. Carlo!!

29/04/2025: We had a great time, the fish was very good, we took the full menu, everything was good from the appetizer to the dessert, the waiters were very good and quick despite the amount of work they have.
The lake view is also beautiful. I hope to return soon.
06/04/2025: I don't know the 'before' Massimo but today's, I say this because I have read some negative reviews, a bit here and a bit there, among the comments online, on the main social networks, and in the local press, a very 'skimpy' number tells of a menu no longer up to the standard of the past!
Since I was a child, I remember hearing about this restaurant several times, from friends, family and acquaintances, in an uninterrupted loop: "Massimo al lago (...) Massimo al lago (...)"!
Personally I have to say that at Massimo you can eat tasty local cuisine at a truly honest price.
The tasting menu, which is 90% and perhaps even more of the dishes that come out of the kitchen, includes a simple but genuine cold seafood starter, a series of hot seafood courses, two very generous first courses, such as spaghetti with seafood and gnocchi with scampi, lemon sorbet to cleanse the palate, followed, as second courses, by sufficient fried seafood and grilled seafood, also with breading, dessert, digestive and/or coffee at the price of €38.00, €40.00 on holidays, what more could you want? It's certainly not fine dining but it has its reasons! Recommended for those looking for substance and not appearance!

06/04/2025: Sono stato in questa pizzeria ieri e l’esperienza è stata molto buona. Il locale è semplice ma accogliente, con un’atmosfera buona. Il personale è stato gentile e il servizio rapido.
La pizza mi è piaciuta: impasto ben fatto, leggero e digeribile, con ingredienti freschi. Ho provato una margherita con bufala, davvero buona
Anche il dolce era buono, in particolare il tiramisù. I prezzi sono corretti per la qualità offerta. In generale, da riprovare

Episodio che mette in luce il tipo di ambiente: la cameriera si offre di far sostituire un ingrediente (uovo sodo) con il medesimo ma preparato in forma diversa (uovo sodo) e sorpresa troviamo un addebito di due euro...

13/09/2024: Magnifique endroit au bord du lac trasimeno.
Les chambres sont très bien équipées ; nous avions une chambre avec balcon et vue sur le lac et la piscine.
Nous avons séjourné en demi-pension et nous n'avons pas été déçus : plats très copieux et raffinés . Le petit-déjeuner buffet est également très bien achalandé.
L'ensemble du personnel est très agréable ! dommage que nous ne sachions pas parler italien.
