27/05/2025: Thank you dear people of Casa El Vento, for a fantastic stay in every way. This was our first address during our tour through the Chianti and Val d'Orcia, which immediately set the bar sky-high! Thanks to Angela for the upgrade to an apartment. So atmospheric, everything with an eye for detail, we enjoyed every minute. The accompanying Osteria is an absolute must. Nice too, so that you don't have to get out in the evening. The breakfast was also a treat. If you want this, cooking lessons, wine or olive tasting on request possible, all from our own soil.
Last but not least, a thank you to Adriana, the spa manager, where we booked the Vinotherapy.
Let yourself be surprised and book this in the adjacent wellness.

26/04/2025: Very beautiful place but I strongly advise against the visit to the cellar with the tasting which was very summary and hasty. We did the tasting with four glasses which included a flatbread which in the end was not given to us, furthermore I wouldn't call the four "glasses" as such since we barely managed to drink a sip. In addition, I took a fifth glass of which a drop of the bottom of the bottle was poured, and was charged €12 (excluding the fact that it had previously been said that it cost less).

18/05/2025: Difficilmente lascio recensioni, nel bene o nel male tendo a non esprimermi. Ma oggi mi sento in dovere di fare gli elogi per un pranzo buonissimo. Servizio e gentilezza di prim'ordine. Il prezzo in linea con la qualità e il servizio.
Consiglio vivamente!
12/05/2025: Como canadiense que visitó la Toscana por primera vez, me impresionó encontrar anfitriones acogedores, excelentes cortes de carne cocinados en coordinación con la experiencia de un carnicero y un servicio educado y oportuno!

02/11/2024: Absolute disappointment regarding the food that was served to us: banal pici with tomato sauce, too salty yet tasteless, with parmesan if desired (and this in itself... a serious chef doesn't ask, he knows how to serve his dish!) But the cheese was, to put it mildly, grana padano without seasoning; greasy cod fritters, which only smelled of refried seed oil, they tasted like potatoes but the cod ... didn't arrive! Accompanying mayonnaise purchased at the discount store. Pancakes served on cutting board from salami and cheese. Why? The staff was very kind and knowledgeable, the place was wonderful, relaxing and sweetly welcoming. But the chef? Good heavens, but which star? My pancakes without firmament would have been better!

24/12/2023: Ritrovare Luciano Bencini dopo vent'anni ed essere accolto come se fossero trascorsi venti minuti...
I Bencini sono così, sinceri e genuini come i loro vini, quindi con questi due aggettivi non esitate a venire a trovarli e/o ordinare i loro "Gallo nero"!!!
In primavera tornerò a testare la tavola...

03/11/2023: Personale molto gentile e preparato, spiegazione completa e dettagliata, il tutto abbinato ad ottimo cibo e prodotti locali.
La nostra degustazione ha compreso uno spumante, un bianco e 4 rossi (delle varie tipologie di chianti).
Ad accompagnare, una bruschetta con pomodorini conditi con l'olio di loro produzione, degli antipasti vegetariani, un piatto di pasta al ragù, tagliere di salumi e pecorino. Come conclusione, un buon dolce insieme al vin santo!
Ottima location, vista molto bella... ci tornerò molto volentieri!

02/09/2023: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante perché pernottavamo nell’albergo… Cena ottima, selezione di salumi del territorio di qualità, tutto buonissimo e una nota particolare al ragù d’anatra che era veramente delizioso. Servizio attento e cordiale, abbiamo passato proprio una bella serata!

L'Ultimo Mulino Restaurant

24/06/2024: Location molto bella e caratteristica della Toscana, ma per quanto riguarda la cucina lascia un po’ a desiderare.. cameriera poco simpatica e scazzata(sembrava le scocciasse essere lì).
Abbiamo chiesto una porzione baby di gnocchi al ragù per nostra figlia, è arrivato un piatto enorme con degli gnocchi che nemmeno se tagliati a metà si riuscivano a mettere in bocca.
Poi abbiamo preso delle pappardelle al ragù di chianina (pasta a tratti cruda e ragù commerciale) e dei ravioli fatti in casa ripieni (anche lì il cornicione del raviolo completamente crudo).
Questa mancanza è forse derivata dalla fretta di servire i piatti?! 5 minuti ed era pronto tutto… mah!
Prima e ultima volta, sconsigliato!
03/06/2024: Het eten was ontzettend goed, evenals de wijnen. De bediening is erg vriendelijk, niet opdringerig en helpt je om ‘de slimmere keuzes te maken’. We waren erg positief verrast over dit restaurant!
