22/03/2026: I stopped in at this restaurant today for an expresso. It wasn't a bar/cafe so they don't serve drinks without a food order. The gentleman saw the disappointment on my face and said, "ok, I'll make you one". He made this Canadian's day. Such kindness was very much appreciated by this lass!
28/02/2026: February 2026: Best pizza in Volterra. Crowded with locals who grew up with pizza. Interesting menu with many, many different interesting pizzas (none with pinepple and/or french fries). Moderate prices, friendly service.

01/06/2026: I stayed at Villa Nencini in Volterra and had a truly pleasant experience. The relaxing atmosphere and panoramic location offer splendid views of the Tuscan landscape. The property is well-maintained and welcoming, with comfortable rooms and well-organized common areas.
The restaurant was a real surprise: traditional Tuscan dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, served with courtesy and attention to detail. The outdoor pool is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city or the surrounding area.
I highly recommend Villa Nencini to anyone looking for a rejuvenating and authentic stay in Volterra.

01/06/2026: I ordered a first course and a second course from the full menu for €15, plus a glass of red wine, of which I could only choose between two. I didn't ask how much the glass cost. At the cashier, they charged me €9 for a Morellino, but I didn't see the label (and at this price, it's fair to show it). They told me I had to read the menu. So I asked to see it, but they refused, saying the new menu was being reprinted and it wasn't on the old one. Isn't this a scam?!

07/05/2025: Gelato fantastico, buonissimo e tutto senza glutine compresi i coni e le crepes! I miei bambini celiaci non ci potevano credere! Non c'è rischio di contaminazione perché hanno solo coni senza glutine. Gli amici e bambini non celiaci non si erano neanche accorti della differenza, anzi parlavano di quanto fosse buono e croccante il cono
24/04/2025: Da schifo, un gusto con prezzi elevatissimi, non erano gusti decenti, solo gusti di frutta e stop. NEGATIVO consiglio a tutti di non andarci
