12/10/2025: Rizieri, formerly Dino, is a cornerstone of Viareggio's gastronomy. I've been going there all my life and have never been disappointed. Since the products are freshly baked, there's a wait, but it's worth it if you want to eat a fantastic cecina, an equally delicious pizza, or freshly baked focaccia. There are tables outside where you can stop for a quick treat or a great meal. You can also sit inside for an exceptional lunch, with a nice menu and excellent cuisine.

11/10/2025: Historic restaurant, featured in the Michelin Guide several times. The open kitchen and well-stocked fish counter. The raw fish are nothing special, but I'm originally from Bari and am used to much higher standards. Various types of shrimp, the usual tartare. The raw cuttlefish needs a complete overhaul, and the red mullet fillet is tasteless... Very fresh oysters... The Trabaccolara (house specialty) is excellent. Delicious desserts. Impeccable service.

Maestoso crudo di pesce, spaghettini alle arselle fresche fa-vo-lo-si, un buon dentice al forno con le olive e patate. Tutto freschissimo e ben presentato. Servizio impeccabile fatto da giovani preparati. Abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia di vino inusuale e la temperatura non era perfetta. Prezzi accettabili in proporzione alla grande qualità. 31/10/2025: Everything was perfect: perfect service, warm welcome, perfect atmosphere, and a strategic location. The host was truly helpful. To top it off, the pizza was truly excellent. The staff were very polite, smiling, and incredibly fast. Come in and relax; you'll be pampered.

13/10/2025: We visited on October 12th and the beach resort was still fully equipped. It had a restaurant and bar. We also took advantage of the hot shower, which cost one euro and lasted a sufficient amount of time.

08/11/2025: While passing through Viareggio, we found this place very charming. The food is good quality, served with taste and elegance. The price is reasonable. The staff is very friendly and professional.

02/11/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at Buonamico was anything but positive. After lunch there, I realized I'd forgotten my sunglasses on the table. I immediately called and was told they'd been seen on the table, where I remembered leaving them, and to come by at a certain time to retrieve them. When I went to pick them up at the appointed time, however, I was told "nothing was found." I find it unacceptable that in such a short time, an item seen by the staff disappears into thin air, and that there was no responsibility or interest in clarifying the situation. It's a shame, because incidents like this completely undermine one's trust in a restaurant. I certainly won't be returning.

21/09/2025: Last night we discovered a real gem near the Darsena in Viareggio. The restaurant is striking for its elegance right from the entrance: it feels like entering the hall of a starred hotel, with rooms designed with attention to every detail and fine materials everywhere, from the floors to the coverings. After the welcome, you are accompanied to the upper floor: a spectacular terrace overlooking the sea, covered but with a sliding roof, which opens based on the weather. Unique, quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The tables are well spaced, which is rare and much appreciated. The menu is limited, but studied and based on very fresh raw materials: the catch of the day is visible on display on the ground floor, on ice tubs in view next to the kitchen. The wine list is simply endless, with the sommelier ready to guide you in the right choice - we relied on him for a Vermentino, very spot on. Impeccable service, kind and prepared staff, ready to answer any questions. Yes, the prices are those of a high-end restaurant... but so is everything else. An experience worth every penny. Perhaps one of the best restaurants in all of Viareggio. We will be back.

11/10/2025: Excellent quality and warm hospitality, fair prices, and a relaxed atmosphere. We dined as a couple on a Saturday night without a reservation, and they seated us right away. Highly recommended!

27/07/2025: In a very simple setting (but with a cloth tablecloth), the menu offers a few courses that vary throughout the weeks. It's mostly fish, but also features a few meat dishes. I go there about once a year and always enjoy the well-prepared dishes, whether it's the traditional fried fish or the chef's more unusual creations. The informal but always friendly waiters make guests feel at ease.
