06/01/2025: Lovely, small and familiar atmosphere. We were able to try two first courses and two second courses and I can say that all the dishes were taken care of in detail, both visually and in terms of flavour. I highly recommend the tavern (book in advance as there are few tables).

02/01/2025: It's okay but the prices are high and it's not tasty. It wasn't worth it! Not good Our table seemed not to have been served and this dry ice thing is not only strange but also stinks. The waiters and the kitchen should rather cook and not make a bad impression! The price of the online menu absolutely does not correspond to the price, the cheap price is €22 and the price is around €77, the price is per portion

07/12/2024: Abbiamo prenotato per 4 persone un anno fa, locale piccolino (dentro ,dove eravamo noi faceva molto caldo) accanto avevano messo una tavolata di persone molto chiassose e per cui non è stata una serata tranquilla ma di certo non è colpa loro .. per il cibo niente che dire, tutto buono e curato al dettaglio .Portano una carrellata di antipastini, poi scelta di 3 primi e 2 secondi (tutto pesce ). Assaggi di dolci e vino dolce. Tutto a prezzo fisso di 45 euro ,bevande incluse.

Personale fantastico E la prima volta che ci vado xche c’è una lista si attesa lunghissima…ieri mi hanno contattata che x la sera si era liberato un tavolo eh viaaaaa!!! Viene servito antipasto con molte portate poi i primi a scelta…. X secondo abbiamo preso una piccola catalana xche eravamo strapieni…ci hanno proposto anche un po’ di fritto ma troppo nn ce la facevamo….dolce molto carino mix di dolcetti fatti in casa….eravamo in 5 se bevuto due bottiglie di prosecco, coca cola , 4 bottiglie di acqua ,caffè, digestivo…. Prezzo fisso euro 45.00 ( basso per tutto quello che portano) Veramente buono

17/12/2024: Famous restaurant for having large fish, we ate the spaghetti with clams and they were exceptional. The sea bass with vegetables was excellent. I recommend the trifle for dessert which doesn't have liqueur but is delicious. Excellent service.

30/11/2024: Habíamos estado aquí hace varios años y regresamos en noviembre 24. Todo fue excelente como antes. El servicio fue excelente. Opté por el culo con pasta que era excelente. Otros tenían pescado mezclado profundamente seco, que era muy bueno.

10/01/2025: A Christmas dinner that can distort judgement. However, we ate well. The environment, for me, is a bit suffocating with the waiter almost coming into your neck to go up the stairs.

04/01/2025: Eravamo stati qua alcuni anni fa, siamo tornati e possiamo confermare l’ottimo livello di questo ristorante. Lontano dalla folla della passeggiata, battuto soprattutto da habituè del posto. Menu principalmente di mare, iniziamo con una buona impepata di cozze e assaggi liberi a scelta della cucina, tutti veramente buoni. Prendiamo poi una classica tagliata di tonno e il baccalà, entrambi i piatti ottimi. Chiusura con assaggi misti di torte di pasticceria e zibibbo gentilmente offerto. Le due ragazze in sala molto carine e precise, rapporto qualità prezzo top. Tra i migliori a Viareggio.

21/12/2024: Recommended by a friend who goes there often we had a pleasant, positive surprise. Clean and well furnished place, attentive and kind staff, varied menu and sufficient portions. Dishes prepared with good raw materials and artfully plated. Good value for money. Try it!

21/12/2024: Consigliati da un amico che ci va spesso abbiamo avuto una piacevole sorpresa positiva. Locale pulito e arredato a modo, personale attento e gentile, menù vario e porzioni sufficienti. Piatti preparati con buone materie prime ed impiattati ad arte. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono. Provatelo!

05/01/2025: Locale storico , grande gentilezza e preparazione da parte dei camerieri . Da qui in poi tutto può essere discutibile . Viareggio è' una città dove si mangia solitamente e diffusamente bene . Il pesce è' proposto in stadi tutti i ristoranti , fresco , spesso semplice , prezzi giusti . Da romano le cose si complicano , per prezzi esagerati , mediamente 40/50 euro a piatto e piatti proposti a mio avviso discutibili . Calamaretti ripieni ottimi . Crostacei e fagioli improponibili , assaggiati anche due primi senza personalità e con associazioni di gusti inappropriati . Due antipasti mini , due primi più una penna al pomodoro , una bottiglia d'acqua , senza vini , senza secondi , senza dolci , 270 euro . Direi che non ci siamo proprio . .

03/01/2025: "Renowned place in MORTARA ..." so I wrote 6 years ago. Today, the first days of 2025, I completely change my opinion. Although the place looks very good, as far as the PIZZA is concerned, I was disappointed: raw pizza, randomly seasoned, very heavy dough and therefore not at all digestible. At one time it was undoubtedly successful but in 2025 it is worth it travel a few more kilometers and eat elsewhere. With my son we also ordered a plate of french fries and I must say that the ones from McDonald's are "two hills of gold" in comparison.

30/10/2024: Like being at home. A stone's throw from the sea, the promenade and the center / station of Viareggio. Fantastic restaurant with friendly, professional and truly exquisite staff. I absolutely recommend it!

04/01/2025: I'm not used to leaving reviews but when I see so many positive ones I don't understand the anomaly. The kind and welcoming service and the owner is careful and kind in managing uncomfortable situations and customers. The quality of the dishes is poor. In 2024, reheated, tasteless, frozen food is not eligible. I think the pre-cooked spaghetti with clams was reheated in the microwave: one cold forkful, the next burned my lip... Wrong cooking technique, from fried, to baked (boiled) potatoes. Cacio e pepe gnocchi with cream and parsley. There was a piece of octopus in the meat sauce. It looked like an episode of nightmare kitchens. At this point it is even more anomalous how a place with these characteristics can have so many positive reviews: the system doesn't work. I hope it all helps to improve

01/01/2025: Pleasant welcome and environment like in a real inn. Good food and well presented dishes even if not hot as usual but slightly lukewarm. The only feeling that is slightly out of context concerns the service which is too frenetic and does not respect normal times. From the order they served us so quickly that the feeling was of dishes already ready to go out... arriving before the wine. Prices decidedly lower than average. However, I will definitely return to try other dishes...

08/01/2025: Io e la mia ragazza siamo stati per pranzo ed è stato tutto veramente buonissimo , ambiente bello e personale competente e gentile. Ci siamo scordati di fare le foto al piatto di benvenuto che era un pezzo di tonno scottato , il calice di prosecco anche quello servito appena arrivati e la schiacciata con il pane anche quello molto buono. Infine il conto trovo che sia coerente con quello che abbiamo mangiato e l’ambiente

07/01/2025: Ottima organizzazione anche per il menù fisso del 31 dicembre. Certo un pochino lento l'avvicendarsi delle portate...ma d'altra parte bisognava pure arrivarci a mezzanotte. Ottima proposta di vini e bollicine. Risotto agli scampi e agnolotti deliziosi. Unica nota stonata il semifreddo con canditi ..

25/11/2024: Abbiamo cenato in gruppo con amici e parenti. Tagliata di tonno di scarsa qualità, fredda e di quantità davvero ridicola. La pizza era passabile ma non come la descrive il proprietario che pecca di grande presunzione. Tempi di attesa lunghi e personale poco attento, poco sorridente, lento..... Quasi inadeguato. Personalmente non ci torneremo più
