09/02/2026: Thanks to a last-minute reservation, I was able to have lunch at this trattoria. The food is fresh and imaginatively prepared, so the dishes are delicious and... plentiful. Ten appetizers, two first courses, a fried dish, and portions of sweets and Vin Santo for €45 per person, including wine and drinks, isn't something everyone gets in Viareggio. The staff is smiling and courteous, and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's an "old Viareggio" trattoria, with lots of options, lots of tables, and a bit of a squeeze. But it's a worthwhile place. I'd gladly return, too bad there's a waiting list of over a year!

21/02/2026: Discovered this place by chance during a visit to Viareggio. It's a shame we live far away and can't return. Excellent food, from appetizer to dessert. We had tordelli with ragù and ravioli with fondue and truffle shavings. For main courses, we had ribs, beef fillet, and sliced ​​beef with fondue. The meat was tender and flavorful. The service was exceptional, with perfect customer service. In total, for four first courses, four second courses, four desserts, two appetizers, wine, and water, we spent €300. Excellent price for the quality and quantity.

We've been dining at Trinchetto quite frequently for several years, but the dishes have remained virtually unchanged. The restaurant is small but well-maintained.

The city has changed significantly over the past 20 years, but Rizieri's pizzeria remains a solid and stable landmark, a bastion that has withstood the ravages and upheavals of time. Coming here is always an experience of conviviality, warmth, and spectacular food. Rizieri's pizza and cecina are second to none: they satisfy the palate and warm the heart every time. The prices are also incredibly competitive. It's a must-visit, and a must-return.

10/02/2026: Historic pizzeria. I was there last time before COVID, and it was delicious! Today, however, it was different and had a strange flavor. I saw them take bread from the tables and put it in a bag behind the counter. It's fine, but not after handling money and not washing their hands. 🤢 The staff is not very friendly or sociable!

13/09/2025: Nice place, many free places in September, but you still can't get those closer to the sea. Food OK, though there was a piece of chicken in the vegetarian salad. Bowl with salmon not bad. Sunscreens and books available.

21/11/2025: It's a favorite place, but unfortunately, on the last three occasions, something has gone wrong. Once the ravioli were very salty, once the tagliolini were loose, once the seafood was watery. I assume something has changed in the kitchen. My rating isn't negative, but I hope you'll soon return to your "recent" glories. In my opinion, it's the most beautiful and characteristic restaurant in Viareggio.

Special mention for the tagliolini with squid ink, burrata, and shrimp tartare. Extremely friendly service from the owner, the chef's wife. Creme chocolate that will make even those who don't have any can lick their lips.
