07/10/2025: A restaurant in the heart of Viareggio, with a predominantly meat-based menu, although there's a small selection of fish. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a wide selection of wines displayed on the walls and an open kitchen. We dined in the cellar for a birthday party and it was a wonderful experience. We started with a selection of excellent appetizers, then continued with the highlight, a delicious Chianina steak and melt-in-the-mouth pork ribs cooked in beer. The wine list is excellent, with a focus on Tuscan wines, and we were able to choose from a variety of labels. Everything was perfect, and the price was perfectly in line with what we ate and drank. Highly recommended.

05/10/2025: We were lucky to get a table for dinner on our last night in town. The food was very well cooked, well presented, delicious and with the outstanding service and great atmosphere, we would highly recommend a visit. If steak is your thing, Amaro Braciera is your place.

18/09/2025: A truly excellent seafood restaurant. Every dish we were served was fresh. The aroma of the sea can be felt in every dish. The staff is attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves quality cuisine.

23/08/2025: We went to this restaurant on a friend's recommendation, and I have to say he was right. We booked a year in advance, because that's the timing... Everything was truly delicious and tasty; we were able to savor the true flavor of every dish served. The price is standard: €45 per person, including all dishes and wine. We opted for an appetizer, first course, and dessert, without a second course, wine, and coffee, and we still spent €45. I highly recommend it, but go on an empty stomach because you'll eat a lot.

28/08/2025: Excellent place to try seafood. The octopus soup is very good, and the octopus is incredibly tender. The black tagliolini with octopus ragù is also exceptional. I'll definitely be back!

12/10/2025: Rizieri, formerly Dino, is a cornerstone of Viareggio's gastronomy. I've been going there all my life and have never been disappointed. Since the products are freshly baked, there's a wait, but it's worth it if you want to eat a fantastic cecina, an equally delicious pizza, or freshly baked focaccia. There are tables outside where you can stop for a quick treat or a great meal. You can also sit inside for an exceptional lunch, with a nice menu and excellent cuisine.

11/10/2025: Historic restaurant, featured in the Michelin Guide several times. The open kitchen and well-stocked fish counter. The raw fish are nothing special, but I'm originally from Bari and am used to much higher standards. Various types of shrimp, the usual tartare. The raw cuttlefish needs a complete overhaul, and the red mullet fillet is tasteless... Very fresh oysters... The Trabaccolara (house specialty) is excellent. Delicious desserts. Impeccable service.

Maestoso crudo di pesce, spaghettini alle arselle fresche fa-vo-lo-si, un buon dentice al forno con le olive e patate. Tutto freschissimo e ben presentato. Servizio impeccabile fatto da giovani preparati. Abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia di vino inusuale e la temperatura non era perfetta. Prezzi accettabili in proporzione alla grande qualità. 21/09/2025: Last night we discovered a real gem near the Darsena in Viareggio. The restaurant is striking for its elegance right from the entrance: it feels like entering the hall of a starred hotel, with rooms designed with attention to every detail and fine materials everywhere, from the floors to the coverings. After the welcome, you are accompanied to the upper floor: a spectacular terrace overlooking the sea, covered but with a sliding roof, which opens based on the weather. Unique, quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The tables are well spaced, which is rare and much appreciated. The menu is limited, but studied and based on very fresh raw materials: the catch of the day is visible on display on the ground floor, on ice tubs in view next to the kitchen. The wine list is simply endless, with the sommelier ready to guide you in the right choice - we relied on him for a Vermentino, very spot on. Impeccable service, kind and prepared staff, ready to answer any questions. Yes, the prices are those of a high-end restaurant... but so is everything else. An experience worth every penny. Perhaps one of the best restaurants in all of Viareggio. We will be back.

11/10/2025: Excellent quality and warm hospitality, fair prices, and a relaxed atmosphere. We dined as a couple on a Saturday night without a reservation, and they seated us right away. Highly recommended!

27/07/2025: In a very simple setting (but with a cloth tablecloth), the menu offers a few courses that vary throughout the weeks. It's mostly fish, but also features a few meat dishes. I go there about once a year and always enjoy the well-prepared dishes, whether it's the traditional fried fish or the chef's more unusual creations. The informal but always friendly waiters make guests feel at ease.
