19/08/2025: This restaurant is located within the resort; we dined there several times during our vacation and were always very pleased with the fish, meat, and pizza dishes. Excellent wine. Very friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. We recommend it.

It's a 3-star hotel, a bit dated...but the cleanliness of the bathroom, the breakfast (rich: homemade sweets and savory, fresh fruit), and the location are the strong points of this hotel. 04/04/2025: I've been there and I have to say that the owners are special people: the husband is a professional in the kitchen, the wife is a master of detail throughout the place, and the other is very kind and friendly. If you're passing by, stop by and enjoy a good day.

03/09/2025: Not recommended. We were at the beach today, September 3rd, and wanted to rent an umbrella for the afternoon (including two loungers). Firstly, there was no afternoon rate (we arrived at 2 p.m.), and the "supervisor" wanted a €25 daily fee for the umbrella (it's now off-season). At the beautiful Morcone beach next door, the umbrella costs €15! Then I paid with Visa, and we had small beach chairs for our two kids, which we weren't allowed to use. Then I wanted to cancel, and strangely enough, cancellation isn't possible with credit card payments. Conclusion: worst service on the entire island, too expensive, umbrellas packed too tightly, constantly being checked... Better to choose a different beach (next door) or even a different beach. A huge disappointment for us, and the first and last time.

28/09/2025: Excellent hospitality and service, a magnificent, culturally picturesque location. Fresh food, freshly prepared with professionalism and the majestic creativity of Chef Omar and the pastry chef for his desserts, masterfully craft stellar delicacies. The pictures speak for themselves.

13/10/2025: We had lunch in this restaurant by chance, as I am a vegetarian they were very helpful in offering me alternatives to the fish menu, we ordered first courses and desserts, the food turned out to be excellent and of good quality, the location alone is worth the trip, we will definitely be back

28/09/2025: Excellent food with surprising combinations. We had fish tartare, spaghetti with squid ragu, local fish on pumpkin puree and porcini mushrooms, followed by dessert and grappa.

24/08/2025: I wouldn't go back even if it were the last bar open in Livorno. I came in after a mountain bike session to buy a bottle of cold water. There was no friendliness, they looked at me like I was a thief. And I only got water... go to people who care about their work.

10/09/2025: The food is okay, but the service is terrible... the kids' food arrived when everyone else was already finished and ready to pay, and instead of apologizing, the waiter snapped at us: "We're in Italy, so I'll speak Italian to you." They acted like they didn't understand us when we asked about our food. They were confused and unfriendly from start to finish. We've been there ten times, but the service is completely new. Unfortunately, this was the last time.

09/09/2025: We went to Grigolo for dinner with friends, three hungry souls, one of whom was gluten intolerant. A detail that, it seems, threw the entire dining room staff into a tailspin. The service? A tragicomic ballet of four waiters, each with their own style of unpreparedness. We had to push repeatedly for plates, napkins, and even attention. At a certain point, we thought we were invisible, or perhaps part of a social experiment. The highlight? Ordering gluten-free gnocchi, which magically transformed into long pasta. The waiter, with the confidence of a dice-roller, announced: "They should be gluten-free." When asked for clarification, the staff showed the same bewilderment as those who have just discovered they've lost their passport at the airport. The three dishes arrived at different times, as if the kitchen were an escape room and each course a test to be passed. One of the dishes was supposed to have chopped pistachios: none arrived. After a long wait, we were handed a small plate with just the sprinkles. We made our own garnish, because at Grigolo, we believe in customer autonomy. We expressed our complaints to the manager, who enlightened us with a pearl of wisdom: "If the kitchen gives me the dishes one at a time, I'll bring them to you one at a time." At that point, we asked if the kitchen was managed by the restaurant or if they relied on our own kitchen, just to see if it was our fault.

16/07/2025: Locale storico e di altissima qualità. Ottima la pasticceria e il caffè è buonissimo, servito in tazzine belle e di classe. Il personale è gentile. Consigliatissimo

12/07/2025: Llevo viniendo al Caffe Ginori cada verano desde hace una década. Tienen el mejor cornetto alla crema, frate (donas Italiano ), espresso y schiacchiatine (sándwiches) de la zona. ¿Estoy desconcertado por las malas críticas? También el almuerzo y la cena son maravillosos. Tanto las opciones de mariscos como las de carne siempre han sido excelentes. Vivo en Berkeley, California y espero visitarla cada verano con nuestra familia. Caffe Ginori es sinceramente uno de los lugares más destacados.

26/08/2025: A truly positive experience The place doesn't have a sea view, but it's right on the sea, away from the crowds and noise. You don't see the sun set, but the moon rise. The pizza and schiacciatine are excellent, because the pizza chef has, I'd say, thirty years of experience!!! The owners are kind and professional, and the waitress is attentive and friendly. Highly recommended

We came with family during lunch to eat together — there were five of us. However, apart from sandwiches, we couldn’t order anything else. We asked to make us mojitos: two with alcohol and two without. The mojitos had spoiled mint and stale lemon. The drink tasted disappointing and was unpleasant. We addressed the bartender with this problem, but received only negative phrases in response. In addition, the service was disgusting: the women were unfriendly and rude. 13/10/2025: It's located in Livorno's Venice neighborhood. We stumbled upon it by chance while exploring the city and stopped for lunch. The food was terrible: the linguine with clams and bottarga was completely untidy, dry, and tasteless; the tortiglioni with mussels was raw and drowned in oil. There was a very long wait. When paying, the bill was calculated (poorly) on a piece of paper. We paid by debit card and issued a receipt (not a detailed receipt). The cost for two first courses, a bottle of water, and a quart of wine (€6) was a whopping €35... I don't recommend it!!!
