07/05/2026: Hotel just steps from the sea, very kind and welcoming staff, spotlessly clean and quiet rooms, excellent breakfast

04/05/2026: The room we stayed in was excellent: clean, spacious enough, and with a tidy bathroom. There was also a small terrace, air conditioning, and a refrigerator. The management was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was excellent.

06/07/2026: I'm giving this a star for accurate information on the costs of using this very pretty beach. The umbrellas are spaced quite close together, so much so that at most one lounger fits. Furthermore, for those staying at the beautiful HOTEL Delfino, just steps from the beach, if you book directly without going through BOOKING, you'll receive a €30 per day voucher that allows you to access the beach from the second row for free.

22/06/2026: Yesterday we rented an umbrella at this lovely beach club. It was Sunday, so I imagine there was a lot of noise, but it was very quiet and we relaxed. The beach club is very clean and offers a variety of services. Thanks to the owner, who helped us with our bags and everything else. Highly recommended.

08/07/2026: We've been returning to this restaurant every year for at least five years. A bad dish on a bad night can happen, but yesterday was a complete disaster. The only positive note was a very kind waitress who inexplicably wasn't allowed to take orders. A smile and empathy worthy of the noble role of waiter, for those who still believe in the art of catering. Both the first courses and the appetizers absolutely deserve a rethink, both in terms of flavor and the way the ingredients are treated, which deserves it. The tiramisu was embarrassing: I've never seen anything like it; three ladyfingers not even slightly treated, drizzled with cocoa and cream. Even the wait times, even though the place wasn't full, left much to be desired. A real shame.

07/07/2026: Great fish restaurant with an unbeatable view! Simply wow! The service is quite hectic. A bit more peace and quiet would be desirable ;)

12/05/2026: A very distinctive restaurant where the quality and deliciousness of the dishes are truly outstanding, a place where the culture of fresh fish is its true icon. I had never eaten CACIUCCO, being from Rome, and I must say it is truly a triumph of the sea. I also enjoyed the dishes of my other friends: spaghetti with clams and lemon, seafood parcels, squid ink rice, stuffed squid, which are breathtaking just by looking at them. Then there was the friendliness and courtesy of the staff, all exquisitely female... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

14/06/2026: The website listed incorrect opening hours. The restaurant was supposed to be open from 11 am. We arrived at 12 pm and were turned away. That's unacceptable.

27/06/2026: Terrible, it's a one-time mistake for those who don't know it; those who know avoid it. The food is pre-cooked, so the service is very fast. The bill doesn't match the quality of the food, not even a simple peppered mussels.

08/07/2026: Beautiful location, but the experience was terrible. We ordered drinks at the bar and only afterwards were told about all the restrictions. The staff were rude and made us feel completely unwelcome. The security guard kept running after the children, grabbing their attention in a very aggressive way and staring at them in an intimidating manner. He was also carrying what looked like a stun gun, which was very unsettling, especially around children. Instead of enjoying the beach, we felt stressed and uncomfortable. We will definitely not return.

05/07/2026: Excellent dinner with a sea view. The pizzas were good, but the fish dishes were special, especially the abundant soup filled with mussels and clams, very rich and delicious. The peppered mussels were also delicious. The view was incredible. Since it was a Saturday, we managed to get a table for two by booking that morning. A truly pleasant, quiet, relaxing, and peaceful atmosphere.

15/07/2026: Last evening on the island of Elba, we were looking for a special place for dinner. Near the port of Marina di Campo we saw the L'Approdo restaurant, and we were won over by its charming appearance and the view of the sea!!! Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience on all fronts!! Terrible food, poor quality and even worse cooking, the staff gave me the impression of intolerance, the prices too excessive for the quality and service. They brought one dish at a time, practically we didn't all dine together, a terrible mistake for a restaurant. I sent back the fried fish twice, it was soaked in oil, uneatable. They didn't bring the menu to my son, who is on the autism spectrum... He can read very well... I decided with bitterness to leave this extension, which I usually don't do. I am ending my stay on this beautiful island, which has given me so many emotions, with this unfortunately negative experience. I hope it is constructive for the restaurant.

14/07/2026: I stopped in for a cocktail in the evening. The cocktail was delicious.

11/04/2026: Friendly staff, good food, pleasant atmosphere. Very authentic. Let the staff recommend dishes and don't be put off by the bad reviews. If you're lucky, the owners of the neighboring restaurants might be singing together.

05/01/2026: We were welcomed at 6pm, cold and hungry, and despite the early hour, we were served in a very short time with delicious and abundant food! Number one!

11/07/2026: The food was bad for all four of us, two of them a complete disaster. My pasta was undercooked and so hard we were all speechless that we couldn't believe it could end up on a plate. The calamari was tough and fried in lángos oil like something you'd get at a carnival, and so on and so forth. No one knows why they charge a cover charge (no bread, breadsticks, or anything else included)...! Just don't go there. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes on Elba.

05/07/2026: When we walked in, I wasn't expecting such attentive and friendly service and amazingly tasty and high-quality cuisine. The fried anchovies were a 10. We'll definitely be back.
