08/05/2025: Very good pizzas! I took Quattro Stagione, ham and other fills were excellent. My wife took Frutti di Mare, she said it was best she has ever eaten so far! The service was pleasant and the atmosphere cozy and relaxed during Saturday evening.

07/09/2025: I dined at this restaurant on the recommendation of friends, and I'll start by saying the food was decent. However, I'll list everything that ruined the evening, starting with the owner, who, leaning over his friends' table, swore without a care in the world toward other tables. After our amuse-bouche, the appetizers arrived, but no one had cleared the table, so we had to move our plates ourselves. By the time the appetizers were finished, the main courses were practically on the table, so it was almost like a canteen (dinner took 70 minutes). I'll conclude with inattentive and rushed service and a neglected location. If the restaurant and service were as good as the food, I might even consider returning.

10/08/2025: The atmosphere would be nice, but as other reviews point out, the owner is rude, almost quarrelsome at times. He invites us to sit down, and we wait at least 30 minutes without seeing anyone. Finally, we get up to leave, and the owner starts cursing and shouting. The few dishes that did leave the room, to everyone's dismay, were small. I don't know what they taste like (fortunately).

06/07/2025: The pizza was inedible, used way too much oil, and tasted like frozen pizza. The waiters were completely unwilling to serve. NEVER AGAIN.

06/07/2025: We had a lovely evening. First and second courses of excellent quality. The owner Umberto was very friendly. We will definitely be back. RECOMMENDED.

29/08/2025: The restaurant is located right on the seafront. Steps lead down to the beach. The prices reflect the quality of the dishes. I tried the excellent lobster starter and the raw seafood, which was equally delicious. I'll be back as soon as possible.

28/08/2025: My boyfriend and I had a romantic dinner overlooking the sea with the colors of the sunset, absolutely beautiful. The food and service were fantastic. The only downside is that it's a long walk downhill to get there, so high heels are not recommended!

14/08/2025: I visited this restaurant overlooking the canals with my daughter. It's perhaps in the most picturesque spot in Livorno's Venice district, near the fish market and a short walk from the Fortezza Vecchia and the ferry terminal. Even though I visit Livorno often, I was curious to dine in this little corner of Livorno. The view is spectacular, with the sunset to the west overlooking the sea and the interior looking out toward the canals. Everything was lovely, but beyond the setting, it was the courtesy of the girls and the truly excellent quality of the food that made it my new go-to place when I'm back in Livorno. Congratulations, keep up the good work, and thank you for the pleasant evening spent with my Princess. A dad. Alas, update a month later... I returned about a month later (August 2025) with my partner, remembering the wonderful experience the previous time, which I described above. I had rated everything 5 stars, but this second time, the experience was, for half the dishes, simply "terrifying," leading me to lower the rating to 2 stars. Let me explain... We ordered a mussel sauté, which arrived as delicious as the previous time, also stuffed with a giant prawn. To drink, we ordered a half liter of the house white wine, which was served in a bottle holder with melted ice. Therefore, after our first glass, we realized that the wine was almost room temperature... (about 30 degrees that evening). We asked to refill the bottle holder with ice, but even then, it returned more cold water than ice. Let's move on... We ordered two first courses: linguine with clams and bottarga and a plate of spaghetti with clams. The dishes looked interesting, but we later realized they were very salty, but overly so, and that one of the dishes had no trace of bottarga, and that the lemon pesto was apparently just lemon juice mixed with breadcrumbs (I think). But it was the clams that really made us jump. Of the approximately 50 clams each that formed the base of the dish (like lupini beans—we certainly weren't expecting true clams...), on my plate I counted 8 open clams and over 40 closed, dead ones, meaning they hadn't opened during cooking. I wonder how whoever cooked that evening, while sautéing the pasta with the sauce, couldn't have noticed this, or rather, sent two servings of dead clams to the table, because, in fact, we were served two first courses seasoned with closed clam shells! When asked if everything was fine, I replied "well," leaving it up to the person returning the dishes to evaluate the eight open clams, neatly arranged in a radial pattern on the shell dish, compared to how many closed ones we'd left on our plates. But then again, the dishes were incredibly salty, unlike anything I've ever eaten before. I'm not the type to send dishes back to the kitchen, and I've eaten in "the worst bars in Caracas," but that evening, perhaps we should have done so because, always with politeness and respect for the work of others, a little criticism helps everyone improve. A real shame, I hope due to a lapse in the kitchen that evening, because the place is worth it, the prices are attractive, and the staff is very courteous and friendly. I hope to return soon to update the review.

13/08/2025: The cacciucco wasn't made with the fish called for in the Livorno recipe, the paccheri with blue crab seemed to be seasoned with the same sauce as the cacciucco, the fried anchovies weren't crispy, and neither were the French fries. A complete disappointment.

21/07/2025: Nice, but very expensive!!! Not for all budgets

08/07/2025: Excellent restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea, stunning views. We ordered two delicious first courses and a fish tempura with vegetables, which we ordered seconds of because it was so good. To accompany the fish, we chose Ansonica, a native white wine from Elba Island. A welcoming atmosphere with background music. Impeccable service. Highly recommended.

26/08/2025: A truly positive experience The place doesn't have a sea view, but it's right on the sea, away from the crowds and noise. You don't see the sun set, but the moon rise. The pizza and schiacciatine are excellent, because the pizza chef has, I'd say, thirty years of experience!!! The owners are kind and professional, and the waitress is attentive and friendly. Highly recommended

16/07/2025: I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I feel that everyone should know where they are going and not be misled by the good reviews of others. We came with family during lunch to eat together — there were five of us. However, apart from sandwiches, we couldn’t order anything else. We asked to make us mojitos: two with alcohol and two without. The mojitos had spoiled mint and stale lemon. The drink tasted disappointing and was unpleasant. We addressed the bartender with this problem, but received only negative phrases in response. In addition, the service was disgusting: the women were unfriendly and rude. I do not recommend this cafe. I usually don’t write reviews, but this time I feel that everyone should know where they are going and not be misled by the good reviews of others. We asked for mojitos: two with alcohol and two without. The mojitos were made with spoiled mint and not fresh lemon. The drink was disappointing in taste and unpleasant. We mentioned this at the bar, but received only negative remarks in response. Additionally, the service was terrible; the women were unfriendly and rude. I do not recommend this cafe.

04/08/2025: Romantic and elegant atmosphere, a very charming seaside venue. The interior feels like being on a ship; ask to sit on the terrace for a better view of the water. We had a seafood dinner, and everything was delicious and relatively affordable given the type of dishes and the location. We spent €88 for two people, including an appetizer, first course, and dessert. The service was impeccable, friendly, professional, and above all, very fast; we finished dinner in about an hour.

02/08/2025: Average restaurant! The staff was almost unhappy with the customers, and the owner was unworthy of being called such. Surly and rude... I strongly advise against the place... I'd call it a shark rather than a dolphin! We reserved a table as guests of a partner holiday village, and the owner spontaneously decided not to honor the agreement without warning, and very arrogantly took the plunge.

16/07/2025: Locale storico e di altissima qualità. Ottima la pasticceria e il caffè è buonissimo, servito in tazzine belle e di classe. Il personale è gentile. Consigliatissimo

12/07/2025: Llevo viniendo al Caffe Ginori cada verano desde hace una década. Tienen el mejor cornetto alla crema, frate (donas Italiano ), espresso y schiacchiatine (sándwiches) de la zona. ¿Estoy desconcertado por las malas críticas? También el almuerzo y la cena son maravillosos. Tanto las opciones de mariscos como las de carne siempre han sido excelentes. Vivo en Berkeley, California y espero visitarla cada verano con nuestra familia. Caffe Ginori es sinceramente uno de los lugares más destacados.

25/08/2025: We stumbled upon this little restaurant in the historic center of Capoliveri on Saturday evening, and my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised, from the appetizer to the gnocchi with clams. We highly recommend it!
