21/04/2025: During a trip through the cities of Tuscany we decided to have Easter lunch at this trattoria, found on the antinori website. The Instagram profile immediately inspired us, and we called to secure the place.
We had a great time, the staff were really friendly and helpful: they were able to satisfy our every request.
My favorite dish was the gnocchi with pecorino and truffle, really delicious but in reality everything we ate was excellent.
the view is really beautiful, also easy to reach: it is just a few minutes from the motorway and the road is very panoramic.
I highly recommend it :)

11/04/2025: Nice renovated place but I have to say that I remembered this very different famous restaurant a few years ago. The cuisine has changed, the fish is fresh but no longer cooked the old way and less abundant. I had ordered an island-style monkfish and after half an hour of waiting it arrived rare! I sent it back, the waitress apologized and offered me a quick mixed fry, and I had to accept, but I didn't go to eat that! Very long waits where we filled ourselves with good bread, yes but not good... I got the ravioli filled with fish which was good but the pasta was borderline raw. A quarter of a glass of wine is 7.50 and oh well... you know, fish dinners are expensive, but what was missing was the classic simple flavor of intense fish which I didn't taste because it was mixed with too many ingredients. Too bad I had other memories but maybe they were another management....

30/03/2025: Characteristic Tuscan restaurant, immersed in the greenery of Chianti, here you can find quality and courtesy, you can eat both meat and fish and pizza (excellent) really fair prices!!! If you are looking for a place to rent for birthday parties or dinners come here that Giulia will be able to advise you top!!!

13/04/2025: Probably the best meal I had in Tuscany. Chef Alba is great! I ate here twice, first night I had the gnocchi with yellow pumpkin pesto and blue cheese... amazing. We also did the tasting menu the second night and the wild boar dish was great. The gnocchi with the pumpkin and blue cheese was definitely the best though. Excellent service and phenomenal views of the vineyards and surrounding countryside. Salvadonicas chianti classico is good as well.

28/01/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo sabato insieme ad un gruppo di amici; per me non era la prima volta e quindi ho deciso di far provare anche a loro questo ristorante. Non si sono smentiti, cibo ottimo e servizio top, il tutto contornato da una location stupenda. Complimenti davvero

Il menù offre una vasta selezione di piatti, che all’arrivo in tavola hanno superato le nostre aspettative.
Personale super attento ad ogni nostra esigenza e gentilissimo.
Ristorante in cui torneremo sicuramente con molto piacere.
Super consigliato!

17/02/2025: Se per lo Staff di Sala si può far valere l'assunto "squadra che vince non si cambia" con lo spettacolare Chef de Rang Dean a Capitanare ragazzi professionali, attenti, discreti e preparati come Sofia, Francesco e Matteo, la Rivoluzione operata in cucina con l'arrivo del "Duo Maravilha" Giacomo Bussotti e Neri Reggioli ha decisamente alzato il livello. Materia prima di gran qualità elaborata e presentata in maniera eccelsa. Sapori e Sentori di una volta rivisitati in versione attuale con tecnica sopraffina...esaltazione sensoriale allo stato puro. Cantina da mille e più vitigni ed etichette. Degustazione verticale con abbinamento al calice da sogno. Giornata memorabile...OLTRE!!! Bravissimi tutti.
26/01/2025: La nuovissima brigata capitanata dallo chef Giacomo Bussotti, offre un’esperienza gustativa unica e, oltre ad emozionare e lasciare il segno, ci impone di tornare per degustare ciò che non abbiamo ancora assaggiato! Bravi davvero! Impeccabile, come al solito, il servizio! Dean ti sa coccolare con discrezione e grande competenza!
Lingua bruciata e kakumi per ora sono i miei preferiti! Per i nostalgici del signor piccione, non abbiamo rimpianto quello del precedente chef!

Vi spiego perché.
Ultimamente ho girato in posti bellissimi a Firenze dove la mia attenzione di donna si focalizzava molto sull'arredamento,l'illuminazione e un po' meno sulle pietanze.
È l'effetto natalizio.
Spesso succede in questo periodo difficile per tutti noi.
Ieri sera ho trovato un posto dove finalmente la ciccia della "tartare"era tagliata a coltello.
Che cavolo !!siamo a Firenze.
È d'obbligo scusate!.invece ...non voglio citare alcune trattorie vecchissime e rinomate del centro,che talvolta hanno un nome!!!da anni..da generazioni ...che ultimamente presentano carne frullata come "tartare"....oppure ti portano un bicchiere di vino senza farti vedere la bottiglia .
Arrivano direttamente con il bicchiere al tavolo.
No!!non si fa.
Si arriva al tavolo con la bottiglia e si versa al cliente.
Vado avanti.
L'Antica trattoria Calcinaia....località San Casciano val di pesa rispecchia tutte le tradizioni fiorentine.
Ciccia stratosferica e vini ottimi esposti all'entrata, visibili nella parete illuminata.
Un bancone di affettati selezionati di ottima qualità.
Ospitalità e cordialità da dieci e lode.
Cameriere simpaticissimo molto professionale.
Rapporto qualità prezzo non ve lo dico neanche perché è da non credere.
In un posto diverso avremmo speso il doppio.
Quindi ottimo.
La location è arredata con gusto.
Lampade particolarmente ricercate appoggiate su comodini antichi vanno a creare all'interno della sala un gioco di luce per un'atmosfera intima.
Vetrine antiche riempite di piatti e bicchieri spiccano in ogni angolo della sala contrastando il bianco latte delle pareti.
Dolci.
Fatti in casa come tradizione comanda.
Soddisfattissima direi.
Grazie Firenze.....sono fiera di te!!!
