06/04/2024: Very nicely decorated restaurant with delicious dishes. Very nice and attentive service. A specialty of the house is the tagliatelle “Vedova Allegra” which tastes excellent - definitely try it!
05/04/2024: Very nice place that allows you to get into the Sicilian atmosphere. The waiters are very nice although some don't speak English (but will try to understand you!)
Good meal despite the fact that the server is in love (dish far too salty)

05/04/2024: A place that may seem touristy because it is on the pedestrian street. This is not the case and I highly recommend you go. The server was absolutely perfect (advice, smile, helpful)
The dishes were delicious, in short, a perfect evening, thank you!!

12/05/2024: Good food, recommended starters, very fast courses, they don't give you time to rest between one course and another, you can see that everything is already ready! They care little about the tranquility of the customer who almost sees the customers themselves coming at them without respect, tourist menu.

First of all the waitress can’t speak neither Italian, neither English. He doesn’t even know, what he has in the menu. If you ask him something about dishes, he is totally lost.
Food was very bad- the worst pasta I ever had in Italy. We came here based on reviews, but I really don’t understand how they can have such a high rating! The quality of food is comparable with food in bad school cantina.
We received firstly pasta and minute after that we got the starter 😀
Prices are low, but I rather stay hungry or pay more, than come to this restaurant again.

21/12/2023: The place was almost empty when we were there for two days. Sanitary building is fine, water is hot. The operator is friendly. Beautiful location, with direct access to the sea. Restaurants in town are better than at the stand.
03/11/2023: Loved this place! Massimo was great, attentive and kind. It’s a peaceful spot to enjoy a nice meal on the beach. Highly recommended.

24/10/2023: Si vous cherchez où manger à Scopello, je recommande sans hésiter la Tavernetta. La terrasse possède une magnifique vue, la nourriture est excellente, une des meilleures que nous avons eue en Sicile. De plus, le service est rapide, avenant et chaleureux. Un sans faute, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

20/09/2023: Voglio segnalare questo locale per un episodio che poi mi ha fatto riflettere. A volte capita che ristoratori o anche lo stesso personale ti indichino delle chiavi di lettura nelle tue scelte, e - ahimè - giudizi, nel campo culinario. Nella fattispecie sono stato, in un modo assolutamente garbato, messo di fronte alla mia pedanteria sul confezionamento dei cibi. Ero lì per gustare il "pane cunzato" e chiedevo perché al posto del caciocavallo usassero il primo sale. Per tutta risposta mi è stato fatto osservare che "cunzato" vuol dire condito, termine assolutamente generico aperto a svariate soluzioni, fermo restando che alcuni ingredienti base vanno assicurati (acciughe, pomodoro, olio e origano). Orbene il mio interlocutore aveva pienamente ragione e anche quando talune soluzioni uscissero fuori da ciò che tu ritieni essere la cucina tradizionale, ma chi se ne frega, visto che quello che ho mangiato era assai gradevole.

16/10/2023: Ottima la disponibilità, la cura dei particolari e cosa più importante l'ospitalità. Il cibo passerebbe quasi in secondo piano se non fosse cucinato, servito e raccontato con passione e capacità. Quindi ottima scelta. Da provare assolutamente.

02/11/2023: Nous aurions du écouter vraiment les critiques... Mais hors saison, plus le choix des restaurants à scopello...
J'ai choisi un mélange de plusieurs spécialités Sicilienne... Bon, ben rien de frais ! La bruschetta impossible à couper au couteau j'ai tenté de croquer dedans... Pas frais je l'ai laissé, les olives et tomates séchées en abondance pour charger l'assiette... Les petites verrines de cœurs d'artichaut, aubergines etc, tout baigne dans l'huile... Bref, quasi rien mangé. La serveuse a tenter de me proposer un autre plat mais la qualité doit être dès le début dans l'assiette !!
Nous voulons juste PARTIR
Bref, pas l'habitude de descendre un restaurant comme ça mais la faut pas abuser.
02/11/2023: Tres mauvaise expérience, je déconseille fortement. Les produits sortaient du bocal et baignaient encore dans l’huile. Les calamars fries étaient sans intérêts. Dommage!

09/05/2024: This restaurant opened for us early on a rainy night and for a family of twelve.
We found ourselves at Milan EXPO chef. And we were welcomed like family members by chef Nicolo, waiter Emmanuele and Alessandra (who creates the best dolce!!). What ever we ordered was exceptional! We came back twice. Full stop.
06/05/2024: Excellent mussels, delicious fried dish of the day. First courses al dente! Fresh salad and delicious baked potatoes!!! The octopus not to be missed!! Possibility for intolerants!!! Space for accompanying dogs welcome!
