16/12/2025: A truly excellent lunch! Fast service, Mrs. Graziella in the dining room welcomed us very kindly. We ordered two tasting menus, with delicious appetizers and a paella for two with very generous portions, incredibly good, we immediately complimented each other! We are very satisfied. Furthermore, I was finally able to eat lactose-free desserts! A wonderful surprise, finally a restaurant that works for everyone! Needless to say, these were also excellent and with a wide selection, including crema catalana and tiramisu. We will definitely be back! And we will recommend it with our eyes closed! 12/01/2026: Lu Furat is nestled among Alghero's old stone walls, as if the restaurant has grown out of history itself. When you sit down, you are surrounded by a soft murmur, candlelight and the scent of freshly baked pizza and garlic that slowly fills the air. It is warm, intimate and completely stress-free. The food is rustic and self-evident. The pizza has the perfect balance between crispy bottom and soft middle, the pasta is generous and full of flavor, and each dish feels prepared with respect for tradition rather than trends. A glass of wine in your hand, stones under your feet and time that suddenly doesn't matter. You stay here for a long time. Talking a little quieter, laughing a little more, letting the evening take shape. Lu Furat is not just a restaurant – it is part of the soul of Alghero, where food, history and presence merge into something you take home with you.

21/12/2025: Today, on a trip to Alghero, I happened upon Lu Furat, which the owner told me means "the hole." It's not a hole, and they made me a fantastic seafood pizza. The waitresses were very kind. Thank you for the excellent service. Happy Holidays!

17/10/2025: Very tasty pizza at a reasonable price (8-12 euros). I also tried the appetizers, the best of which was definitely the cheese one. The menu is very extensive, with probably dozens of different pizzas alone.

07/01/2026: Very nice restaurant in the old city of Alghero. Very nice atmosphere, excellent food and very friendly staff. The ratio quality/price is correct.

06/01/2026: We booked for five people at the suggestion of an acquaintance. The place and staff were welcoming, except for a few ill-considered comments from the waiter, such as when I asked if we could start with appetizers to share. He replied, in an annoyed tone, that the kitchen was closing (it was 1:30 PM) so we had to hurry and choose everything right away. We ordered two mixed appetizers, which were decent quality but, given the price, low in quantity. Next, we ordered four first courses: two seafood fregola pasta and two tagliolini with clams and bottarga. The fregola was good and rich in sauce, while the tagliolini were dry. It definitely needs improvement. The dessert, chocolate mousse with coconut cream, was good. Overall, a satisfactory experience. For the price paid, I rate the overall service as average-low.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, but the most important thing, beyond the charming decor, is the quality of the products. Good coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and excellent pasta dishes, including takeaway options. I was very pleased. Keep up the good work, well done!

23/12/2025: After driving around Alghero trying to find somewhere to eat to no success, we Arrived just before 19:00 and was greeted very friendly by the waiter. He spoke good english and took our order straight away. Our food was served after 15mins. It was excellent and fresh. Can highly recommend.
