15/02/2025: Ambiente accogliente e pulito, menu alla carta o fisso con un massimo di 35€( antipasto, primo , secondo, contorno, caffe , acqua e vino della casa). Prezzo ormai raro per magiare bene zona Oristano
Portate capienti e cibo ottimo.
Il cameriere super cordiale, pronto ad accogliere ogni richiesta e anche pronto ad una battutina simpatica che ai giorni d’oggi manca!
Il locale era pulitissimo compreso i bagni( molto carina l’idea di fornire prodotti intimi , messi a disposizione nei bagni).
Siamo andate via piene , e abbiamo lasciato un ottima recensione pure sul quaderno posto fuori dal locale. Consiglio a tutti di provarlo…..
04/02/2025: Yesterday I went to the restaurant for lunch, unfortunately I was very disappointed. They presented us with squid, even though I had asked if they were fresh. They didn't have any taste. They were mushy and soft. Needless to say, they didn't have any flavor. For the rest, we had a good time. I would like to clarify that I want to apologize
They didn't put them on the bill but we won't be going back anyway..

01/02/2025: Very beautiful and well-kept location, a little hidden in a pedestrian-only area, we had to ask to find it because there are no signs.... very good food and plentiful dishes: we ate some land-based appetizers and a very good mussel soup; followed by different first courses for everyone (there were 12 of us) all very good and plentiful so much so that we struggled to finish them... the only dish that wasn't perfect was the spaghetti with clams that were too al dente and a little dry! Excellent white and red wine to accompany, coffee and in the end after paying the bill we had five bitters/liqueurs. All good except for the last slightly off-key note that I wouldn't have expected from such a refined and high-level venue, which was also counting 24 euros of bitters separately when the bill had already been paid and not a little... I would have expected a gift from the owner.... it's the first time this has happened to me in a Sardinian restaurant! A drop in style at the very end!!!
26/01/2025: Restaurant with typical cuisine of the area that uses local products. The dishes are mainly fish-based but there are also alternatives. Personally, not eating fish, I was satisfied with some excellent off-menu items, namely; pasta with artichokes and artichoke fritters. The place was also well designed and the staff and owner were very kind, welcoming and extremely helpful. If I were in the area again I would happily return.

The pumpkin soup with smoked mullet and bottarga is excellent and could become a "very very" interesting first course.
And what about the landscape:
🌞 The sun shone on the #Cabras pond, while my eyes got lost in its reflections.
The water, still as a mirror, reflected the sky, creating a landscape of disarming beauty.
In that magical place, where time seemed to stop, my mind began to wander, transporting me to a distant world, made up of ancient stories and centuries-old traditions.
And this is how the story of a wise and hard-working fisherman, inextricably linked to his land and his pond, was born. 📝
🛶 This man, whose name I don't know, was a fisherman of few words, but his eyes told of his passion for fishing and his love for the Cabras pond.
He knew every corner of that enchanted place, every secret of its waters, every creature that inhabited it.
His boat, an old wooden friend, glided on the water with a gentle movement, guided by the expert hands of the fisherman.
The nets, cast with care, caught the fish that would become the gold of Cabras:
the #bottarga.
A precious treasure, with a unique and unmistakable flavour, which this man kept with pride. 🎣
✨️ Bottarga is a special product, obtained from mullet eggs.
The eggs are extracted from the fish, washed, salted, pressed and dried;
these steps, expertly carried out by expert hands, are fundamental to giving the characteristic and unmistakable taste to the Cabras bottarga. 💫
🐟 For the fisherman, the bottarga was a symbol of his land, his people, his history.
It was the fruit of patient and passionate work, handed down from generation to generation.
It was a gift from nature, a treasure to be protected and enhanced.
Every day, the fisherman went out to sea with his companions to throw their nets into the pond.
It was tiring work, but he did it with love, aware of preserving an ancient tradition.
One evening, while returning home with his boat loaded with fish, the fisherman stopped to contemplate the sunset over the pond.
The sky was tinged with a thousand colors, from fiery red to golden orange, creating a breathtaking spectacle.
The fisherman was enchanted by such beauty, thinking how lucky he was to live in such a wonderful place.
He felt grateful for the gift of nature, for the richness of the sea, and understood that his task was to preserve the fishing tradition, to protect the pond and to pass on ancient knowledge to young fishermen. 🗯
🗣 The sun was now high when my thoughts returned to reality, my time here was over.
Leaving the pond, a certainty accompanied me:
I wanted to be a witness to the world, a keeper of stories, a disseminator of knowledge.
Because knowledge is a precious asset, a treasure to be shared with everyone.🗺
🎒🚶♂️➡️And so, with a mind full of expectations, I resumed my journey, ready to discover the wonders of the world and tell them to anyone who would listen. 🧭 🤗
09/02/2025: Very touristy but super good fish served in all possible ways and the right price. It’s a fixed menu.

Slightly 70s furnishings but it doesn't matter.
Friendly staff.

05/11/2024: I usually give quite positive reviews about pizza, but this time it was forgettable.
Ordered the house specialty seafood pizza if I remember correctly (€18), razor clams, mussels, clams and octopus.
It arrives a little burnt and it's already not good, tasting the razor clams, full of sand, very unpleasant on the palate, the shell of the mussels were so cooked in the oven that when touched with your hands they crumbled and the pieces ended up on the pizza. The pasta is too thin and inconsistent. No, not to be embarrassing again. At least the service was good, the guys were attentive and kind.

13/10/2024: Marvellous ! our 2-day stay didn't do it justice, it's the sort of place you want to stay for weeks -
Family-run place that starts with an authentic high-end restaurant, and extends to the spacious hotel set around a grass yard, and a bijou garden (and spa if you want one).
Good location for people with a car, interested in the beaches, or the antiquities; not the big city, or the mountainous interior, but a perfectly pleasant bit of an island I'll remember for its very agreeable people.

11/10/2024: Ho aspettato un po' per recensire questo agriturismo perché volevo trovare le parole giuste per esprimere tutta la mia gratitudine alla padrona di casa, la Signora Pinuccia. Ho scelto questo posto leggendo soprattutto le recensioni negative ed ho capito, dalle risposte date, che avrei avuto a che fare con una vera padrona di casa, che difende il suo abile lavoro in cucina, la sua maestria nel preparare piatti semplici ma sublimi, con le porzioni giuste per poter gustare ed assaporare ogni portata fino al dolce. Ho scelto questo agriturismo anche per la particolare attenzione alle persone celtiche, e, credetemi, non ho mai visto un ristoratore/cuoco prendersi così cura sia dei piatti sia delle persone che hanno questa malattia. Signora Pinuccia ha letteralmente coccolato mia mamma celiaca con piatti dedicati e deliziosi
e porzioni abbondanti. Il locale è pulito e curato nei dettagli, anche nell'ambiente si vede la mano di una donna che si dedica col cuore nel far sentire i suoi ospiti come q casa. Complimenti per tutto ed ancora grazie di cuore per questa rara esperienza culinaria. Ritorneremo di sicuro e lo consigliamo senza alcun dubbio ❤

I gestori molto familiari e accoglienti.
Abbiamo mangiato il menù di pesce, se fossimo rimasti ancora a Cabras avremmo sicuramente provato anche il menù terra.

Ristorante Leopardi da Alfredo

14/08/2024: Bella sala con parcheggio riservato per gli ospiti; purtroppo niente wifi, incredibile per un ristorante di questa tipologia. Buona scelta di piatti, cucina non troppo elaborata (senz'altro un pregio) come i mezzi paccheri con pesce e gamberi o il raviolone sardo con formaggio e patate. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo: 60 eur in 3 bevendo acqua. Carte accettate. Bagno separato per uomini e donne.
13/08/2024: Ottima scoperta, buonissimi gli spaghetti senza glutine alla mediterranea! ristorante esclusivamente a base di pesce. Buonissimo l’antipasto misto che ti permette di assaggiare le diverse specialità marine.
