A triumph of fish, meat and countryside with truly authentic and special flavors.
The fish is the master of the house. Accompanied by the very nice and friendly owners who make you feel like a real king.
The countryside view and a few steps from the sea give everything else.

27/04/2025: Salve vorrei dare un consiglio allo chef quando fai la pasta ai ricci specifica che sul menù che i ricci me li devo portare da casa 22 euro buttati nel water, secondo me tutto è buono ma perfavore smetteta di scrivere linguine ai ricci scrivete pasta in bianco passate una buona serata soprattutto allo chef

30/05/2025: Delicious food. Tuna tartare was delicious; simple and good. Gluten-free options possible. Risotto fish was great! As well as the white and red wines tasted good to us. Finished with a delicious dessert of pistachio. Service (unfortunately forgot her name; perfect. Friendly and thoughtful, very nice. The place is a bit big, nevertheless nice seating.

11/05/2025: When sitting down at Ginetto on the terrace in the shade facing the Ionian coast, gazing at the distant skyline of the "forever reaching out into the sea to its long departed lover, the Sant'Andrea lighthouse" before Gallipoli, time halted for an instant - and the caressing spell of pure equanimity abode with us for three continuing days.
On a mild, sunny day in October we discovered Ristorante Ginetto by the irony of fate never expecting to keep it forever dear in our hearts. Ginetto is pure happiness with simply the best food, most tasty dishes and lovliest atmosphere including the best view in the area. This great place needs no praise at all but it would be unfair never to mention it.
Our highest respect to the chefs of local cuisine in this simple but exceptional setting. We are heartbroken that our stay lasted only 3 days. We will try to come back in off season-time to repeat the magic of our three days on the Ionian sea at Ginetto

26/09/2024: Location spettacolare e curata, a dir poco incantevole. Peccato per quel dehor in legno che a mio parere non c'entra niente con la bellezza del tutto. Per quanto concerne il resto devo dire che ha deluso le mie aspettative. Troppa gente, troppi tavoli. Confusione. Arriviamo con la prenotazione e il tavolo che ci era stato assegnato era occupato. Ci indicano un altro tavolo: occupato anche questo. Risultato: venti minuti di attesa. Nel cibo non ho trovato quello che mi aspettavo. La burrata non aveva sapore, il primo di pappardelle al ragù di maiale nero non male ma niente di che. Le salsicce una era cotta e l' altra no. La cosa che ho gradito di più sono stati senza dubbio i turcinieddhi. Insomma niente di entusiasmante. Il servizio veloce, giovane e un pó disattento. Per fare troppo si perde di attenzione e qualità. Come si dice: bello ma non balla.

Esperienza veramente positiva, dalla sua posizione strategica con un ampia terrazza vista mare ai piatti gustosissimi e porzioni abbondanti. Servizio al tavolo curato nei minimi dettagli e personale di sala professionale, presente e gentilissimo nonostante le numerose presenze! Continuate così!
Ci rivedremo presto!

09/03/2025: Pessima esperienza con i frutti di mare. I molluschi erano aperti malissimo. Morti!!! Ho ordinato le linguine ai frutti di mare sperando in un piatto saporito, ma mi sono ritrovato/a con più gusci vuoti che altro con un retrogusto davvero sgradevole Qualità decisamente scarsa, assolutamente da migliorare.

Corte Santa Lucia

30/12/2024: Locale nel centro storico di Nardò ma lontano dal caos turistico, Corte Santa Lucia conserva l'aspetto di certe vecchie osterie di qualche decennio fa e offre una selezione di piatti tipici o ispirati alla tradizione salentina. Ci abbiamo cenato sabato scorso: nonostante lo scarso preavviso e il periodo natalizio, non ci sono stati problemi. Abbiamo condiviso un antipasto misto, dei pezzetti di cavallo e delle polpette al sugo: la qualità è tutto sommato buona, con alcuni punti di eccellenza (i pezzetti) e qualcosa da rivedere (antipasti). Il prezzo finale, anche considerando l'ottimo vino che abbiamo bevuto, è comunque piuttosto alto rispetto alla media dei dintorni.

01/05/2025: Ci siamo stati questa mattina in 4. Abbiamo ordinato la colazione ad una ragazza con maglietta nera Lui jo molto gentile, peccato che ce l abbia consegnata con le dita all interno dei bicchieri d acqua x sostenerli , le tazze messe a caso senza il minimo sforzo di ricordare o chiedere chi avesse voluto il caffè, chi l espressivo chi il ginseng, con un cucchiaino sporco, senza zucchero( arrivato su ns richiesta dopo 10 minuti) e pessima briosch. Ci siamo trattenuti un oretta x ammirare il paesaggio e saremmo potuti andar via anche senza pagare. Professionalità 0 😱
24/03/2025: Ho festeggiato il 70 compleanno di mio padre. Felicissima di averli scelti per questa occasione così importante. Cordialità e professionalità del personale, in particolare del direttore Luigi che mi ha guidata e consigliata nella scelta del menu', del tovagliato, dell'organizzazione generale della festa, ottimamente riuscita! Menù ricercato, qualità e gusto. Location stupenda. Consigliatissimo!
