05/05/2025: A classy restaurant for gourmets, not an Osteria as the name of the place suggests. The rooms both externally and internally are clean and well-ordered. The meat and fish dishes are of quality and freshness. After I went for lunch, being satisfied, I also decided for dinner, enjoying and alternating both meat and fish dishes. The choice of both regional and non-regional wines is well assorted for any dish, as well as the local red one. Everything is good from starters, first courses, second courses, side dishes and desserts. Excellent value for money, as is the table service with friendly and attentive staff. I will return and recommend it.

It rarely happens to me to leave a restaurant with the feeling that everything has been done with coherence, competence and respect for the territory. Ambasciata Orsarese is one of those places where traditional cuisine is not only told, but actually experienced. The raw materials are local, fresh and of evident quality. The special effect is not sought, but balance: each dish has a meaning, a story and solid preparation behind it. You can perceive a real short supply chain, without compromises. The service was perfect: trained, courteous and present staff at the right point, without forcing. From someone who works in the sector, it is nice to see a room managed with this level of professionalism. A place to keep in mind for those who love authentic cuisine, done well and without pretence. I will definitely return, and I will recommend it with conviction.

02/06/2025: Hi, even though I'm not used to giving reviews, this hotel deserves it very much. Let's say it didn't disappoint my expectations, in fact I have to say that the 3 stars are a bit tight, in my opinion it deserves a 4 stars. When I arrived there I immediately understood that I had made the right choice, the staff was nothing short of fantastic, qualified, the rooms were clean and above all of excellent workmanship. Not to mention the restaurant, the 20 € menu was very good both in terms of price and what they offer, very good and tasty dishes, and as a Sicilian I have to say not bad. The dining room staff Antonio, Francesco and Nicola were very friendly and qualified. If I ever have to make a pilgrimage again I already know where to go

22/04/2025: Ho prenotato per il pranzo di pasquetta 20.04.2025, nella prenotazione avevo già esposto i problemi alimentari e mi è stato detto che non c'erano problemi per le variazioni, richiedo conferma il giorno prima e mi viene detto di riferire al cameriere del tavolo... Arriviamo, riferisco e x gli intolleranti ovviamente non c'è niente di dedicato solo pietanze già pronte. I primi solo alcuni dove i formaggi venivano aggiunti dopo, il dolce con la frutta arriva solo la frutta, la carne invece arriva cruda e la salsiccia salatissima. Dai 2 primi previsti dal menù ho potuto mangiare solo 1, senza il dolce e gli antipasti da chissà cosa previsto ho dovuto accontentarmi delle verdure grigliate. Alla cassa poi hanno fatto la parte di un misero sconto di 5€. 1 stella extra solo x il personale di sala.

18/05/2025: Ero indeciso se dare 4 o 5 stelle, alla fine ho optato per 5 per la location, una vista davvero mozzafiato, soprattutto con le luci del tramonto. Si intravede il lavoro che c'è dietro la preparazione e presentazione, probabilmente avremmo gradito delle quantità leggermente più abbondanti. Tutto buono comunque! Servizio efficiente.

25/05/2025: One ordinary Sunday, my father and I were guests at the tavern. We were welcomed by relaxing music, they made us sit in a very beautiful and refined room. We had lunch with typical dishes of the Foggia tradition: troccoli with ragù and braciola, we closed with a magnificent tiramisu. Very satisfied, to be repeated absolutely also because in addition to the goodness of the dishes we were struck by the kindness of the staff.

25/05/2025: We went to this restaurant for dinner. Location on the sea in a nice environment. We ordered raw fish, 1 cuttlefish (precisely in size of a €1 coin but oh well now everything is justified by saying that they are gourmet dishes for which we must appreciate the misery and be happy to pay their weight in gold) 2 first courses with sea urchins (€30 each, thank you again, in the best restaurants of superior elegance we have never paid this price) 2 first courses with anchovies and bread. Cover charge €4 per person. To make a long story short the dishes were good as usual, we spent €240, oh well they are gourmet dishes so go and pay with a smile. Surely this will be the owners' response, quality has to be paid for, but surely you shouldn't overpay in an unjustified way. To conclude we went back immediately afterwards to buy 2 half-liter bottles of water and not for the extra €3, but it is shameful to pay for them (we all know that the value of 2 bottles is 30 cents total). IT IS KNOWN THAT ELEGANCE IS NOT WATER

27/04/2025: Abbiamo cenato ieri sera. Con amici. Accoglienza immediata e cordiale, ambiente caldo e tranquillo con sottofondo musicale apprezzato. Ampia scelta dei piatti, prodotti tipici e del luogo e spiegazione dettagliata degli ingredienti utilizzati. Mangiato molto bene dall’ antipasto al dolce. Il conto adeguato, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo e sarebbe bello tornarci se ci trovassimo ancora da queste parti. Gentilissima la cameriera che ci ha servito e professionale il titolare, con i complimenti finali alla chef che ci ha salutato in sala a fine serata.

11/05/2025: Unpretentious restaurant but with well prepared food. Very little choice on the menu but for an informal relaxing lunch or dinner it is perfect. The lady who waits at the tables is particularly effective and operational. I appreciated the very tasty broad beans and chicory and the meat with potatoes. The price is good: around 20 euros (water only). The atmosphere is beautiful with soft lighting (increasingly rare, due to the dazzling cold neon lights of almost all restaurants now...) and authentic, period furnishings. Worth a second visit.
