13/05/2025: Location located in the heart of the historic center of Cisternino, you choose the meat at the counter and you sit in the two available rooms, one a little more casual and one more elegant.
Despite being in the center and despite the great tourism that has been created in this splendid country, I really liked the price and the raw material of this place.
We spent 25 euros per person with a tasting of cold cuts and cheeses, meat of all kinds, water and a bottle of wine

05/05/2025: Simple place, a butcher's counter where you can choose what to eat, a few tables inside and a few outside just outside the historic center. The very courteous manager. We ate assorted Apulian bombette cooked on the stove, livers. Grilled potatoes, excellent tomatoes. Delicious almond biscuits are offered with coffee. Highly recommended.

25/05/2025: Se cerchi un posto in cui vivere un’esperienza unica devi assolutamente venire qui al mezzofanti a cisternino…il ristorante più bello in questo paese pieno di storia. Vivrai un’esperienza magica : dai colori, al verde, ai piatti, ai fiori, al menu, all’accoglienza. Annamaria, la proprietaria ti farà sentire a casa e ti coccolerà…è un’amica di cui non potrai più fare a meno. Non saprei consigliare un piatto del menù perché è tutto buonissimo in un’atmosfera familiare e perfetta. Dovete assolutamente fare quest’esperienza e vi innamorerete!!!
25/05/2025: Mezzofanti è uno di quei ristoranti che sanno coniugare eleganza, accoglienza e una cucina di altissimo livello. L’atmosfera è intima ma raffinata, con luci calde e un arredamento curato nei dettagli, ideale per una cena speciale o semplicemente per godersi un pasto di qualità.
Ottimo l’arrosto di manzo al carpaccio 🤤
In sintesi, Mezzofanti non è solo un ristorante, ma un piccolo viaggio nel gusto, da ripetere al più presto.

19/05/2025: CISTERNINO, another hilltop town in the gorgeous region of Puglia.
Le Tre Lanterne was a place we chose to eat. You see, this restaurant is all about meat! It’s a complete tradition in this region.
Puglia never lets my wife down when looking for this kind of restaurant. The setting was snuggled in another street in Custernino. Le Tre Lanterne served up such great food, far beyond expectations.
Happy to give Le Tre Lanterne five 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

17/12/2023: We called at 11.30am to book a table for 4 people and they gave us availability for 1.30pm. Once we arrived, at 1.24pm, we were told that they had a mix-up with the reservations and sent us away. They wanted to apologize saying they were about to call us on the phone and let us know. They wanted to inform us 5 minutes before the booking time that it was not possible to eat there, well... I advise you not to rely on the availability given during the call.

12/05/2025: Il numero 1 indiscusso tutto ottimo ogni volta che vado al Vicoletto è sempre al massimo livello mi rilassa il posto le carni sono di livello alto
07/05/2025: Sono stato a Cisternino per tre giorni e una delle cose che mi ha colpito di più è stata questa arrosteria davvero particolare. Funziona così: vai al banco come in macelleria, scegli la carne che ti ispira di più (bombette e gnummeredde su tutto) e poi te la grigliano al momento. Semplice, genuino e buono! Il locale è piccolo ma super caratteristico, nascosto in un vicolo del centro storico. Atmosfera top e carne spaziale, da provare assolutamente le patate cotte allo spiedo. Se capitate da queste parti, è una tappa obbligatoria!

08/12/2024: Struttura situata al centro di una piazzetta dotata di giostrine per bambini. Abbiamo preso le pizze. Tutte buone in particolare la Nocellina (bianca con prosciutto, noci e gorgonzola). Impasto leggero .
28/10/2024: Top Restaurant.
Sehr gute Pizza und Vorspeisen.
Super Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis. Schönes Ambiente. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Lieber einen Tisch reservieren.

10/08/2023: Ristorantino con pochi posti, ma elegante e con un ottimo menù ricercato e ben fatto. Fuori dai canoni turistici che ci si aspetta in Puglia. Il personale super gentile. Purtroppo non abbiamo provato una cena completa perché dovevamo partire e volevamo stare leggeri. Ma i primi e i dolci ottimi nonché molto buono il vino scelto.
24/07/2023: Accoglienza attenta e location intima e particolare… Titolari garbati, premurosi ma discreti! Ci è stato offerto un cestino composto da vari tipi di pane, focaccia e taralli fatto in casa, accompagnato da olio extravergine di oliva e da un cornaletto fritto, squisito… già questo vale la cena! Abbiamo optato per una cena a base di tartufo estivo… profumatissimo! Uovo al tartufo, crostoni formaggio e tartufo e tagliolini al tartufo… tutto da leccarsi i baffi! Abbiamo concluso con du dolci strepitosi… tiramisù espresso e torta al cioccolato con gelato al pistacchio… goduria unica! Complimenti ragazzi, ci avete coccolato in tutti i sensi! Cena top e prezzo in linea con l’eccellente materia prima trattata! Bravi!
