28/05/2025: We only used the restaurant. Our opinion is clear, since we had dinner there for two of the two nights we stayed in Santa Margherita. The food is really excellent. Since the first night we especially appreciated the green tagliolini with scorpion fish and angler fish, recommended by the very kind, expert, and very attentive maître Angelo, the second night we relied on his advice completely, tasting delicacies: the standouts were a fillet of red tuna in a pistachio crust, soft and tasty, and breaded cod cooked at low temperature with a cream of caramelized onions. And anyway, even the basic orecchiette with sauce, here seem better. The quality/price ratio is really excellent. We will be back.

13/05/2025: We stayed not in hotels but in apartments connected to them. Not bad except that to go up you pass next to the kitchen with very strong smells that are not always pleasant.

25/04/2025: Una garanzia! Ho visto crescere Taverna Garibaldi negli anni così come cresce una famiglia ed è in famiglia che ci si sente, in un luogo sempre caldo e accogliente. Ed è sempre una nuova esperienza con menù basati sulla produzione del momento. Dagli antipasti ai primi (consiglio sempre di assaggiarne le due proposte ), al secondo si gusta il tutto e ti accorgi di aver mangiato bene e sano. Questa recensione non vuole essere uno "spoiler" ma un invito a scoprire e farsi guidare dalle proposte che Michela, super cuoca, saprà raccontare. Nessun freddo Qr code nella scelta del menù, solo una genuina proposta su cosa degustare da parte del personale. Da non perdere se ci si trova dalle parti del Castel Del Monte !

30/03/2025: Che dire: siamo stati completamente soddisfatti dall’attenzione e dalla cura con cui Michela ha ascoltato le mie richieste che avevamo accordato nelle settimane precedenti e ci ha proposto un ottimo menù completo di numerosi antipasti, due primi, due secondi, dolce e caffè al giusto costo di 40 euro a persona. Da sottolineare che ci hanno cambiato piatto e posate ad ogni portata. Mi avete fatto fare un ottima figura con i miei amici e soprattutto l’ha fatta lei Michela con tutto il suo staff. In una sola parola… Grazie

22/04/2025: I celebrated my fortieth birthday there on Saturday 19 April, it was a wonderful evening, the location is very beautiful, the food is superb and the treatment of the staff is impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Waiters who are new to their experience, slow and unhelpful Food: What can I say, everything was cold, unseasoned and the time between one course and the next was truly embarrassing. Not to mention that at the first course the wine was finished. A steal for what we paid

26/05/2025: I'll start by saying that I was there on Sunday 25th May for my daughter's communion. There was little seriousness. We arrived at 2.10pm and the welcome aperitif had already been cleared. All my relatives were disappointed. The food was decent but minimal for the price paid. No seconds and no tastings. Everything was very limited... I would never go back there again.

21/04/2025: There were 4 of us today, we ordered a trio of seafood as a starter, spaghetti with sea urchin pulp, but we couldn't feel the flavor at all, covered in a very salty cream sauce, we mentioned it to both the service and the owner but they didn't even apologise, the frying was nothing special and the grilled octopus was just as good, I don't think we'll be back.

07/05/2025: Unexpected, while walking, received at 9:30 p.m., we were alone, we had the surprise pizza 😲 homemade and we were not disappointed...

19/05/2025: 25 Eur for a plate of raw seafood consisting of 3 rotten oysters, 2 scampi (good) and 3 red prawns, seems excessive to me. The plate of rice, potatoes and mussels 13 Eur inedible. Never again.

18/05/2025: The service is very disorganized. We ordered the three-course daily menu for €25. The antipasti weren't served; we were given the pasta later, and only after asking for the main course. Apparently, our order was initially forgotten, as we had to reorder the wine half an hour later. Despite repeatedly pointing out that we hadn't received the antipasti, we were presented with the full bill. Only after asking was a discount given was a discount granted. We cannot recommend this restaurant. It is clearly not well organized, and the service lacks professionalism. The pasta was okay, though not very warm, and the main course was average at best.

27/05/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo con amici dopo aver visitato Castel del Monte. Si trova in bella posizione ed è un posto molto curato. Il ristorante è incantevole, con un’atmosfera che mescola eleganza e tradizione, perfettamente in sintonia con la bellezza del territorio. Peccato si vada alla ricerca di piatti ricercati con scarso risultato (portate misere e di modesta qualità). Tutto questo a dei costi sproporzionati.

04/05/2025: What's the point of having opened a restaurant with 3 tables for dinner on a Saturday night? They served us bread that was at least 3 days old and spicy taralli that were even older than the bread. I had the fried cuttlefish with mashed potatoes and pea cream, quality fish, you couldn't taste the potatoes, the peas covered the flavor of the fish. As a first course I took the cappellacci stuffed with prawns, 4 cappellacci for 20 euros, good, but not worth the money because they tasted a lot like butter and the bottarga wasn't as tasty as it should be. My sister took grilled entrecôte, the only second course of meat, it was a tough, low slice of meat, like the one for cutlets, you already only have one second course of meat, you can't afford to do it badly. She doesn't eat fish, the chips cooked in the same oil as the fish because they had a fishy aftertaste. The wine was excellent, just as we requested. We had booked with "the fork" we had a 20% discount, they gave us a 15%. Waiters were friendly and helpful.

26/04/2025: Restaurant located right in front of the port of Trani, wonderful view. Good food for both the first and second courses with fresh fish; I would only recommend a little attention to the cleanliness of the dishes (there was an unclean glass at the table) but it was promptly replaced upon request. 25/08/2024: We have been visiting the Lido for 22 years and what happened today is beyond outrageous. We were on the beach the entire week, booked 2 umbrellas and 4 loungers, so far everything was ok. However, something went wrong when booking on site and today had to be paid for separately. Since we always travel by bus, a discount is offered so we paid €90 for the week, which is perfectly fine. However, we had to pay another €50 for this Sunday, which had no relation to the weekly subscription. The junior owner was unwilling to compromise and insisted on the amount. Unfortunately you lost a long-time customer today, which is a shame.
