05/03/2026: Five stars. Delicious homemade pasta and very friendly, attentive service. We were there during the off-season, so it was pleasantly quiet and the service was particularly attentive. A very nice wine list with a wide selection, so everyone can find something to suit their taste. The restaurant is also visually appealing; the design and atmosphere are especially inviting in the evening. The prices are absolutely reasonable, offering good value for money. Overall, a clear recommendation.
30/12/2025: Excellent restaurant with impeccable service; the cuisine is sophisticated and worthy of a 4-star rating.

08/01/2026: We returned to this restaurant after a couple of years, and it didn't disappoint. The dishes we selected were all delicious and carefully prepared, with appropriate portions and quality ingredients.
The place is quiet and the service is friendly.
It's just a shame the prices are a bit high...
€4 for a cover charge, €4 for a 75cl bottle of water, and €3 for a coffee seem a bit excessive.
01/01/2026: We couldn't have asked for a better end-of-year dinner. The service was welcoming, professional, and friendly. The dishes were perfectly presented and excellent in flavor and combinations. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, with some background music. We were able to choose our own pace for the various courses and were able to wait at the table until midnight, greeted with a glass of wine to toast and a taste of cotechino with lentils. What can I say...let's toast to you, thank you for a wonderful evening!

09/03/2026: We stayed for one night. That's fine. The hotel is located right in the middle of the small town, very close to the lake. That's perfect. The hotel is a bit dated, but the service is extremely friendly. Breakfast consists of cake. If you ask nicely, they'll also give you bread. The coffee is excellent. There's no elevator, so it's difficult for older people.
04/11/2025: Centrally located hotel, very close to the lake and within walking distance of the station for those arriving by train. Unfortunately, the bed cover in the room we were assigned was falling off and the mattress cover was missing. The bathroom had no bidet, which was another major drawback. When we requested a replacement room, we were unfortunately told they were fully booked. I recommend including photos of rooms like the one we were assigned on Booking.com and also include the option of bathrooms without bidets. The included breakfast was pleasant and served at the table, not a buffet, but there was a decent selection.

21/03/2026: My partner and I had lunch here during a trip to the Borromean Islands. We had a wonderful time! The restaurant is slightly further inland from the lakeside, but you can still see it from the terrace windows. We shared an appetizer (mixed fried lake fish), which was plentiful, light, and excellent! We then each ordered the daily fixed-price menu, also featuring fish, and were very satisfied. The waitress was also very kind and helpful. The price was reasonable, and cover charge included!
21/03/2026: Very nice restaurant, especially the upstairs dining room and the balconies.
Quick and very friendly service, excellent food (both fish and pizza, meat, and desserts)...we highly recommend it!

29/03/2026: Despite the misunderstandings about the arrival time and the rush to get there without finding the kitchen closed, it was an experience worth repeating, both for the food and wine (a Ruchè Castagnole di Monferrato from Esse Erre Agricola), and for the friendliness of the manager. We will definitely be back, thank you for your hospitality.

29/07/2025: Viajando con un grupo de 33 personas, cenamos en este atractivo restaurante anoche. Pasando por el comedor principal hacia atrás hay un comedor al aire libre con plantas y arbustos. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente. Empezamos con una ensalada mixta, que tenía muchos trozos de tomate. Lo siguiente fue muy buen risotto de hongos, y una galette de queso y espinacas. Me hubiera gustado tener algo de guarnición en el plato.
20/07/2025: Certo, non sarà il Grand Hotel Et Des Iles Borromees, ma se cercate un buon alberghetto tranquillo, in pieno centro a Stresa, a 3 minuti a piedi dal lago e dall'imbarcadero, con camere essenziali ma pulitissime e perfettamente insonorizzate con bagno con sanitari rinnovati, e letto supercomodo, il Fiorentino fa per voi. Molto gentili il signor Federico e i suoi collaboratori, pronti a soddisfare ogni necessità; convenzionale, ma con prodotti di qualità dolci e salati (veramente ottime le marmellate) la colazione, con bevande calde espresse direttamente dal bar. Prezzo nella norma. Possibilità di usufruire di un ottimo servizio ristorante (che ho già valutato positivamente in passato).

This place offers a truly fine dining experience.
Exquisite fine dining with impeccable service and excellently crafted dishes. Pleasant and refined atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. The three Bellossi brothers are the directors and creators of this beautiful place. The artichoke with bagna cauda and parmesan shavings is sublime. I celebrated an incredible birthday. I highly recommend it 🤗

02/04/2026: I had a Spaccanapoli pizza in Dore that wasn't exactly EXCELLENT. The place is located in an alley right after the promenade. I read a review with a lake view... no, you can't see the lake, not even at sunset. Either I'm at the wrong place or the one above, but I'm sure if it were on the lakefront, it would be the best.
Pizza cooked to perfection, perfect dough, not even in Naples like this.
Very kind and helpful staff, nice and clean atmosphere.
I didn't have to wait because I was alone.
The price was reasonable.
The waiter suggested spicy sauce, which was perfect on my pizza.
I would go back to Stresa for a special pizza.
Congratulations from everyone.

Annoyed service; the waitress immediately became annoyed when we asked to move tables.
Roast potatoes: 8 of each for 6 euros.
Fried lake fish: 80% of which are cheap fish, but it's a 20-euro dish.
Half a liter of draft wine: €12.50.
Definitely too expensive, and above all, cold and annoyed service.

25/07/2025: Un Spritz Aperol quasi « Virgin »… ultra light.
Une cuisine un peu bâclée.
Des aubergines grillées à peine assaisonnées et manquant un peu de cuisson.
La panacota à 6,50€ qui ne Ressemble pas à grand chose : 2/3 d’une petite verrine remplie d’une simple crème épaissie, sans coulis ni garniture!!! Ridicule en taille comparée au tiramisu qui lui est correct!
Et pour clôturer, le serveur en chef qui se paye ma tête lorsque je lui exprime ma déception par rapport au dessert!!!

20/07/2025: Fuimos a este restaurante porque no podíamos entrar en el que queríamos. Resultó ser un golpe de suerte - Amici es genial! Empezamos con parmesano de berenjena y burrata. Ambos fantásticos. Luego, tuve los ravioles plin y mi hijo tuvo el osso bucco. Finalmente, de postre tuvimos el pistacho semifreddo. Tenemos un litro de rosa de la casa. Volvería a este restaurante de nuevo, fue genial. Todo el mundo era muy amable y servicial. Era hermoso sentarse afuera bajo las vides.
12/07/2025: Ho ordinato un tagliere di salumi e formaggi ossolani (come riportato nel menù) ma, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i salumi, mi son sembrati di tutto (anche se di qualità) tranne che ossolani. Per il resto discreto locale particolarmente gradito ai turisti, buon servizio e prezzi nella media.
