24/05/2026: For lunch, two of us ate an appetizer, a first course, and a second course. The dishes were original and excellent, beautifully presented. A small lapse in service was promptly and generously remedied. The interior was very comfortable, with a priceless location and view inside the Reggia di Venaria. A place I'd like to return to.

23/05/2026: A starred experience, with service and hospitality that lived up to expectations. The meticulous attention to detail, the thoughtfulness in every single dish, and the careful selection of wines were tangible. Chef Russo was more than welcoming, making us feel at ease. Reservations are available both through their website and the TheFork app. The only downside is that the tasting menus offered on the platforms vary based on the number of courses rather than the price, so you'll need to decide which booking channel to choose based on your preferences. In any case, the final bill was fair. They accept pets, which isn't a given. The lack of free parking in the immediate vicinity (there's paid parking at the Reggia) is certainly a drawback, or I probably missed it.

04/07/2026: Passami il Sale… yes. But please, a little professionalism too. The setting is pleasant, in a beautiful historic city. The restaurant is clean and the food is decent, even if the portions are rather small. The dishes are good, without being memorable, and the prices are clearly too high for what is served. The young woman, tall, slender, and multilingual, deserves special mention. Smiling, dynamic, welcoming, and very professional, she brings real value to the establishment. Unfortunately, everything else is spoiled by the service of two waiters, one of whom wears glasses and gave us the room key. A nonchalant, unpleasant, almost contemptuous attitude. The plates are placed on the table without a word, with a casualness that is hardly acceptable in an establishment that charges such prices. We truly felt like we were bothering them. We also stayed at the restaurant. The room was adequate, clean, and a reasonable size, without any major flaws, but lacking any particular charm. The breakfast, typically Italian, was simple but satisfactory. Ultimately, this stay left a bitter taste. It wasn't the food or the accommodation that was the problem, but rather the evening service, which was unworthy of an establishment that claims to welcome guests. A good meal can make you forget many things. A poor welcome, however, makes you forget everything else.

04/05/2026: The food is really good! A place suitable for families with children. The kids play under the watchful eye of entertainers, while the adults enjoy the evening. The place also provides entertainment with music.

01/05/2026: We had a good time, avoid the ice cream €6 for a glass with two scoops of ice cream made with off-brand Nutella

28/06/2026: Italy in the 1960s. That's it. In a historic square, a restaurant with numbered tables overlooking the plaza, and an atmosphere that, were it not for the tablets for taking orders and the LCD TV mounted on the mezzanine balcony, would remind you of the days of Don Camillo. If you close your eyes and the church bell rings, you're transported back to black and white. And the food... Generous pizzas with the best dough we've ever tasted, perfect tomato sauce and fantastic cooking, perfectly placed salads, and Aperol served perfectly chilled. Good value. I need more Italy like this.
