26/08/2025: What a great restaurant, run by the loveliest family. Outside you enjoy a typical Piedmont view, and inside you sit in a charming old ruin. The family is truly exceptional – wonderful cooking, warm hospitality and great advice on both wine and food. We stayed in the Castello next to the restaurant and were lucky enough to eat here three times. We look back on it with great joy. Grazie!

21/06/2025: È stata una cena squisita sulla terrazza con vista. Siamo partiti da un antipasto leggero di pesce (fettine di spada e tonno) e tortino di melanzane, per passare ai primi dal gusto delicato (gnocchetti e ravioli), a seguire i secondi di carne (brasato e agnello) ma anche il salmone in crosta di sesamo. Abbiamo concluso il tutto con dei desserts ottimi. Il tutto accompagnato da un buonissimo barbera e dalla cortesia e simpatia del proprietario. L'impiattamento molto elegante ci ha permesso di assaporare il cibo dedicandogli il giusto tempo.

21/09/2025: Very spacious room with a sitting area. Bathroom with a huge shower and double sinks. Air conditioning. Very comfortable king-size bed. Larger-than-average TV. Pool towels provided. Large pool with loungers, umbrellas, and a lifeguard.

13/09/2025: I stayed at this property for an afternoon at the spa. What can I say? It was immaculately maintained and incredibly relaxing. Truly a gem! The outdoor pool (not heated, but even today, with the overcast sky, it was lovely) has a spectacular view of the Monferrato hills. End the day with a lovely aperitif in the garden. Everything was perfect!

11/09/2025: In general it is a nice hotel with a great restaurant. But there is still room for improvement. The location is a bit off from the hotspots but super quiet with a nice view, garden and architecture. The pool area is nice but one can tell that the adjacent rooms are to be modernized when compared to the stylish hotel and restaurant itself. The wine list is impressive and you should have ld definitely try their own wines. We grabbed a few for our collection at home. The staff is nice, the service super attentive and welcoming. They try to fix everything thar might arise. We stayed a week and enjoyed it a lot. It is also a great place for trips to Asti, Novara, Torino and more. The restaurant has a great quality of products and is super nice interior-wise. The rooms are a bit small, but they have almost everything you need. But there are a few things that we missed or did not like that much. For starters, they had shampoo etc. but no conditioner. That would be an easy win. The air conditioning is a bit weird as you cannot really get below 21 degrees celcius and it seemed to reset to some sort of default settings. This lead to a rather warm climate. Moreover, our air conditioning was pointed towards the bed so we felt the air all the time in bed. Not the ideal setup in my opinion. Another thing we noticed was that the pillows were not ideal. You could put two on top of each other, which would make them to high or only use one which was too low. I know that this is personal preference, but compared to other hotel beds this felt like a miss. On thing we noticed rather late was that our mosquito net at the window was broken at the bottom, which caused an influx of insects unfortunately. And our shower glass wall had a little defect - probably some guest smashed it against a wall or shower hose as the handling requires a bit of "training". The gym is also nice even though finding it wasn't that obvious - maybe set up some signage? And a desinfactant spray or tissue was missing plus a proper indoor bike. The bar has a lot of potential, which I hope the owners see and will lake use of soon. The Internet needs some improvement, but it was working most of the time. The spa is small but nice, but I can imagine that in bad weather or winter the space light be too small for all hotel guest plus day spa guests. But we enjoyed the stay, the warmth and professionalism and if we ever come. Back to the region we will for sure drop in and say hi.

22/03/2025: Da anni abbiamo il piacere di frequentare questo ristorante e l'esperienza è sempre davvero impeccabile. Appena entrati, siamo accolti con calore e professionalità dal personale, che ci fa sentire subito a nostro agio. L'ambiente è accogliente, elegante ma senza eccessi, con una piacevole atmosfera che invoglia al relax. Il menù offre una selezione variegata, che spazia dai piatti della tradizione locale a proposte più creative. Ogni portata che abbiamo assaggiato è preparata con ingredienti freschi e di qualità, e i sapori sono davvero equilibrati. Anche il servizio è sempre impeccabile: il personale è disponibile, sorridente e pronto a consigliare i piatti con entusiasmo, senza mai essere invadenti. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è assolutamente ottimo, considerando l’alta qualità dei piatti e l’attenzione ai dettagli. In conclusione, è sempre un'esperienza che ci ha completamente soddisfatti e che sicuramente ripeteremo. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un ristorante dove mangiare bene in un ambiente tranquillo e raffinato.

05/01/2025: Locale semplice e accogliente, personale molto gentile. Ristorante scelto per ogni occasione da festeggiare, cucina ottima grazie allo chef Luca e ingredienti genuini. Carta dei vini molto assortita. Da provare i plin al ragù d’arrosto e la tarte tatin, per non parlare dell’orologio di formaggi servito con mostarda e miele. Conto più che onesto rispetto all’alta qualità proposta.

20/08/2025: The atmosphere is welcoming and well-maintained, with an immediately comfortable feel. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive to customer needs. The pizza is truly excellent, with a soft crust and, most importantly, not burnt. The service was fast and organized.

19/08/2025: It was recommended to us by locals. The pizza is quite good, and the place could use a major renovation.

21/09/2025: A Sunday lunch with great attention to detail. We ordered both meat and fish tastings, both excellent and plentiful. The food was carefully prepared and of excellent quality. A small misunderstanding with the chef was promptly and thoroughly resolved, with an apology. The owner's presentation of the dishes was impeccable. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

27/08/2025: My husband and I, the place was beautiful, the service was incredibly slow... we ordered two appetizers. My goodness, I've had better for Piedmontese people. The tartare smelled bad, the veal with tuna sauce was stale, and the rabbit with three slices tasted like nothing. The invisible gnocchi were floating in cheese, and the grilled meat was tough. You ask for cold water, and it arrives hot, excellent, and the wine gave us heartburn. We didn't order dessert because more than half an hour passed between each course, and honestly, I lost my appetite. Never again!!!
