24/08/2025: The staff seemed friendly, the appetizers were average, the first course very salty, and the main course was tuna that wasn't really tuna, or a type I've never eaten. The seared one looked like it was boiled (also very salty), and the cutlet looked like something from McDonald's. The wine was the highlight. PS: 50 cents off for your forgiveness.

I had the pleasure of dining with my boyfriend at Degusteria del Gigante in San Benedetto del Tronto, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences of my life. We chose the 8-course tasting menu: a true sensory journey where every dish was meticulously crafted, surprising, and always more special than the last. The quality of the ingredients, the creative pairings, and the impeccable presentation make each course a small masterpiece. You can sense the chef's passion and love for cooking, as well as the attentive, professional, and friendly service that makes you feel pampered from start to finish. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality culinary experience that will excite and leave wonderful memories. We can't wait to return! If you're passing through San Benedetto, you absolutely must visit!

09/08/2025: SIGI, the owner and mastermind behind this culinary adventure, has created a place where guests can truly explore local flavors and traditions while comfortably seated in a beautiful setting or, weather permitting, outdoors on a quaint street. The menu is limited in choice, as it varies greatly based on availability and the chef's flair. The dining room staff is top-notch, attentive but not intrusive, and the food—well, you have to try it. The only way to improve your dinner would be to have Sigi at your table and hear how this or that dish, or that particular wine, came about. Always a pleasure to return. P.S. Always ask him for recommendations, even for dishes you would NEVER have chosen.

04/09/2025: It was recommended to us and we were very pleased. The owner is attentive and knowledgeable. The food is very good and traditional. Dining outside on a quiet street in the city is also nice, making it all the more charming. I recommend booking.

02/09/2025: The appetizers were excellent, with a platter of cured meats and cheeses; perhaps a little more wouldn't hurt. We then ordered five first courses (two grice, one ravioli, one tagliatella, and one campofilone), each with a bold, authentic flavor and generous portions. Finally, we had two profiteroles and one tiramisu, where you could taste the homemade cream. The prices were fair. I recommend it.

23/08/2025: Every year, when we return from Puglia, we stop in Ascoli Piceno during the first week of July and book dinner at Antico Bonelli. I prefer to call ahead to be sure of a seat, because it's an event we absolutely don't want to miss! We have a wonderful time. The food is delicious and everything is made strictly with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is welcoming, not to mention the kindness and friendliness with which we are served. 03/07/2025: You can stay here with a tent, caravan or camper. There are also 2 apartments available. Very nice location, you look out over the vineyard. They make their own wine that you can taste on site. Highly recommended, delicious wine.

22/06/2025: We stayed 4 nights at this beautiful campsite. Karin and Marin are incredibly hospitable and warm. Upon arrival it turned out that a dinner had been organised that same evening, we could immediately join in and had a wonderful evening in good company. The next day there was a wine tasting with wines from our own soil. Delicious wines and tasty snacks also made this afternoon/evening special. The campsite is located near a beautiful village with an excellent restaurant. If you are looking for peace and quiet, love good food and good wine and all that in a relaxed atmosphere, then Villa Vicini is highly recommended. We enjoyed it!!!

27/08/2025: Even though I've known this place for a few years and have eaten there both in-house and for takeout—the food was good, no doubt—today I found myself with my partner having an unpleasant lunch. I'll start by saying that the wait for a waitress was long; I had to call her personally to have our drinks brought and our food ordered. A lack of hospitality from the start, but we're off to a good start. My partner ordered a simple dish, cutlet and fries, and I ordered spaghetti allo scoglio. His dish arrived less than 10 minutes later. We were impressed by the speed of service until a good 45 minutes had passed since my order arrived. I noticed that it wasn't just me; the wait at other tables had gotten very long. The unfortunate thing about this terrible service is that, thanks to this wait, I had to watch my partner eat, and vice versa, he had to watch me when my dish arrived. It's not nice not to be able to eat together, but to have to wait for each other's food because "the kitchen wait times are like this." I pointed out to the waitress how much this annoyed me, even though she wasn't responsible, but I politely asked her to report it to the kitchen or whoever was cooking, assuming there were more than two people. Terrible, rude, and intolerable service. It's a real shame to see this place lose quality in service; the food today was good, but the pasta was strangely overcooked. Food and service can't match the quality of their work.

27/08/2025: After seven years, I'm sadly forced to revise this review. The restaurant has significantly lowered its quality. I'll start by saying that I don't eat fish, but it seems truly inconceivable to me that I couldn't get two different dishes out at the same time. Today, my partner and I met here for dinner. My dish arrived 10 minutes after ordering. I waited five minutes for my partner's, but it hadn't arrived yet. I started eating. I finished eating, and my girlfriend's dish still hadn't arrived. About 45 minutes passed between the two dishes. We didn't get to eat together. First, she waited and watched me eat, now I wait and watch her eat.

28/08/2025: I've known this place for a long time...it's a beautiful beach resort. Inside, there's an elegant bar and an equally elegant restaurant...outside, there are sofas and tables for enjoying excellent aperitifs. Excellent service. Under the new management, we only had an aperitif, but we've already planned dinner, after which I'll write a review.
