02/11/2025: Sigismondo is a true host, the service is attentive, and the wine list is truly extensive. We took his advice and opted for the tasting menu. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, and the pairings were truly successful. The sweetbread was a surprise. We'll definitely be back.

30/10/2025: The best restaurant in Ascoli Piceno. I come here often for work, and this is a regular stop. After eating at several restaurants during my years of living in Ascoli Piceno, I can honestly say it's my favorite. Highly recommended!

10/10/2025: Amazing! Friendly, helpful, and the food was excellent: well-prepared first courses, as well as second courses (the grilled pork chops were so good you'll want to try them again). For three, a first course, a second course, plenty of water, wine, and dessert, for 90 euros.

17/10/2025: Federica immediately welcomed us with her brilliant cheerfulness and served us very professionally, even recommending local wines and spirits. Compliments also to the chef for the delicacies he prepared for us!

23/08/2025: Every year, when we return from Puglia, we stop in Ascoli Piceno during the first week of July and book dinner at Antico Bonelli. I prefer to call ahead to be sure of a seat, because it's an event we absolutely don't want to miss! We have a wonderful time. The food is delicious and everything is made strictly with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is welcoming, not to mention the kindness and friendliness with which we are served. 08/11/2025: The dishes are well-crafted, and you can see and taste the research, but there's no consistency in the flavors across the various samples. For example, the tagliatelle with wild boar ragù is delicious, with excellent flavor. The ravioli with hare is good, but definitely not up to par. The hand-cut tartare is okay, with good meat, but completely unseasoned. In general, what's lacking in some dishes is flavor. The price would be fair if all the dishes were good. I can't understand the oscillation between flavorful and bland.

26/10/2025: Discovered by chance, it turned out to be a true gem. An excellent dinner in a typical Marche osteria: tender and flavorful braised beef, perfectly cooked and flavorful lamb chops. Desserts were carefully crafted and well-balanced. Attentive and courteous service, a warm and charming atmosphere, and great attention to detail. A truly memorable place.

15/09/2025: A pleasantly surprising place with its decor and excellent products. I've been there a couple of times and enjoyed the food. The young waitress was friendly and helpful, as was another lady, while the owner, perhaps, was a little cold and unhelpful. A tip for the platter: for that price, add a little more (3 slices of fresh cheese, a small piece of sausage, 1 slice of Ciauscolo, and 2 thin slices of something else?). The wine is excellent, as is the price. It deserves a 5-star rating, but the lady's rude attitude keeps me from doing so. I'll be back anyway, and I hope she changes her attitude, or I'm just having a bad day.

12/09/2025: Express cuisine using quality ingredients. Dishes are served in just the right quantities, without frills or elaborate plating. Decor is somewhere between minimalist and a souvenir market. Service is eager but a bit hesitant. Good value for money.

19/10/2025: And unfortunately, the menu didn't blow us away. The turbot main course was OK, but nothing special. The appetizers were very "scampi-heavy," and we didn't like the snails. Overall, the value for money here isn't good compared to other restaurants in the area.

11/10/2025: It was so tangy and impregnated with oil right down to its DNA that I got up in the night and drank a diger seltzer to digest a "fried" fish dish that, more than fried, seemed boiled in oil of which the owner who "fries" to please the customer is a mystery as to what type or chemical compound he uses (certainly not peanut oil).

17/11/2025: Obviously, tastes vary among people. Unfortunately, I don't understand the high reviews for this restaurant. Appetizers with legumes all taste the same, with tomato and a lot of cheese thrown on top. Sour wild boar sauce. I don't sense any love in the dishes. Perhaps for people who want to eat large, low-quality dishes for a low price, the food here is divine. It makes me wonder how these people eat at home... More than anything, I worry about the health of these people. So, when you don't care about taste or eating dishes made with love but very large for a low price, I recommend you go here. There's a restaurant for everyone. Good luck and I hope you find a passion for cooking because this restaurant is perfect for the "Cucine al Incubo" program. They even seem Sicilian to me. I'm ashamed because I'm originally from Sicily too, and we all know how to eat in Sicily.

10/11/2025: Amatriciana is something perfect. Pasta bolognese ok. The prices of those two dishes and grappa are more than fair. The only downside is the high price of a small portion of mushrooms (not truffles) which for some reason costs as much as a whole meal

10/11/2025: The owner's professionalism and quality of ingredients are top-notch. Excellent table service, with the owner being extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Traditional Ascoli dishes and a good selection of local wines. Highly recommended!

13/09/2025: An excellent experience in a refined, welcoming atmosphere overlooking the sea. Excellent seafood cuisine, discovering the typical flavors of the area. Don't miss the local specialty "melecche e cazole." A round of applause to the chef and his entire staff.

06/10/2025: We stayed here for a few nights in the second half of September. We received a very friendly welcome. The spacious pool with a magnificent view was already quite cold. We rented bikes and explored the beautiful surroundings. A wonderful area for sporty cyclists, or those with e-bikes.

20/10/2025: Lunch to celebrate a somewhat intimate birthday... excellent and attentive service. The dishes we decided to try were à la carte, all delicious and carefully prepared with excellent raw materials... it's no coincidence that it's called one of the best in the Marche region. Next time we'll probably choose one of the menus proposed by the chef... and as I always say, try it, people.

28/08/2025: I've known this place for a long time...it's a beautiful beach resort. Inside, there's an elegant bar and an equally elegant restaurant...outside, there are sofas and tables for enjoying excellent aperitifs. Excellent service. Under the new management, we only had an aperitif, but we've already planned dinner, after which I'll write a review.
