The steak was superb, cooked to perfection, with outstanding flavor and perfectly seasoned salt. The baked potatoes were soft, yet bursting with flavor.
The service was exceptional: extremely competent, friendly, and professional. We arrived spontaneously for a business dinner without a reservation and received a warm welcome. The advice was excellent, and the selection of aged meats was impressive.
Everything was just right—no unnecessary frills, just honest, high quality. Highly recommended, especially for its proximity to the airport.
Absolutely worth 6 out of 5 stars. We'll definitely be back!

Quality meats, a good wine list, and excellent homemade desserts.
For something "easy," they also offer delicious bun burgers in various variations.
For dessert, in my opinion, the tiramisu and chocolate cake with strawberry compote deserve a special mention.
They're also open for lunch with a convenient fixed-price business lunch option.

12/06/2026: I think it's the worst restaurant in the province of Varese. Catalan-style lobster served with giblets, and octopus with potatoes served with baked potatoes that are at least a day old. It should be on a list of nightmare kitchens and would definitely win. I won't say more.
10/06/2026: Yes, I can confirm what brought me there... Rumors from friends and acquaintances who spoke of a 40 euro tasting menu consisting of various good quality fish dishes and the availability of seconds, like an all you can eat... and then they are kind and helpful and the owner is really nice.

12/06/2026: A restaurant in the center of Gallarate, offering outdoor seating in the summer in a beautifully landscaped courtyard with background music.
Attentive and friendly service.
The dishes are carefully prepared and the portions are generous.
The appetizers and pesto pasta are excellent; the seafood scialatielli were plentiful but not as tasty.
During dinner, we saw some very tempting Florentine steaks being grilled in full view of the diners. We'll try them next time.
Wide selection of wines.
Prices are average for Gallarate.
06/06/2026: My partner and I came to Milan for a friend's wedding, and the groom booked us at this guesthouse. It wasn't the style I usually book, but what did I think? The building dates back to 1700 (don't worry, it's been renovated). The service is incredibly welcoming, and the food is like something a mother would make for her family—authentic, traditional Italian. If you can choose the suite, it's spectacular: about 70 square meters plus a terrace. It's five minutes from Malpensa Airport and five minutes from the train station, which takes you to the center of Milan in 30 minutes. It's infinitely cheaper than similar places in Milan. Michele and Rosa gave us fantastic service.

10/04/2026: Easter lunch: fast service and attentive waiters. The atmosphere is welcoming, but on Easter Sunday there are too many tables. The food is fresh and good. The only flaw was that the appetizer was served in small portions rather than as a single dish. We'll be back during the non-holiday period.
05/04/2026: Absurd!
A terrible Easter lunch, the first time in my life I've eaten bresaola with artichokes (from a jar in oil) and packaged parmesan shavings.
The first course from the appetizer menu should have been Culatello, but I found myself with coarsely chopped, very poor-quality raw ham, a gianchetti pizza (which disappeared) that was basically a burnt meatball, a battered zucchini flower similar to a Big Babool, octopus with artichokes (also in oil) that wasn't even drained, and the spring prawns...they tasted of tomato.
Finally, a slice of salami was passed around in plain sight from one waiter to another in the middle of the dining room!!!!
Not recommended for anyone looking for a decent meal!

Very negative experience.
As I was leaving the restaurant, I forgot a bag of gifts next to my chair. I noticed it almost immediately and returned to get it in less than a minute. To my surprise, the bag was already behind the counter, and the gifts, which I had left perfectly sealed, were open.
They weren't items that had been left abandoned for hours, nor anything that required special checks. They were personal, private gifts. I can't understand why anyone would have thought it appropriate to open them instead of simply holding onto the bag until the owner returned, which happened almost immediately.
The situation made me feel deeply uncomfortable and, in my opinion, represents a serious lack of respect for the privacy and personal belongings of customers.
A professional restaurant should simply store forgotten items, not open packages or gifts that don't belong to them. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be returning, and I don't recommend it.
