08/02/2025: I have been frequenting this restaurant for years, personally always finding it very good. I find it more difficult to find satisfaction in this, where you have the opportunity to see people reinventing, changing, venturing into ever new challenges, than evaluating a place where you have only been once (make or break). Congratulations to all of you at La Mimosa, for the passion and care you always put into it and for the desire to always offer your customers something new and special.

27/12/2024: I had been looking for a restaurant for a long time that made the typical Milanese elephant ear cutlet without necessarily having to go to Milan, well, here I found exactly what I was looking for! The photos speak for themselves, excellent cooking, you can feel the use of clarified butter, all felt with delicious baked potatoes. I also took the dessert, the house tiramisu, personally I prefer it more bitter, probably using bitter cocoa instead of sweet cocoa and with a pinch more coffee it would have been perfect. Overall an exceptional experience, all accompanied by perfect service from the wait staff! Really congratulations to everyone, I will definitely be back! See you soon!

18/02/2025: A truly welcoming place, you immediately feel as if you were at home, really great service and excellent food, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to eat good meat.
A very pleasant evening, the staff are fantastic, very kind and super welcoming! We will undoubtedly return!

04/11/2024: Excellent meal which started with small pepper strudels as appetizers. We continued with a little Parma ham and burrata as an aperitif accompanied by fried gnocchi to allow us to taste our Gewurztraminer wine. We were then knocked out by the Risotto alla Milanese, a plate that was as hearty as it was delicious.
No more room for dessert, which would surely have matched the rest of the meal.
To do and to do again!

The dishes are very tasty haute cuisine and also plentiful.
The service was very friendly and the place 2 steps from the beautiful centre.

11/01/2025: We went unexpectedly one evening, on a Sunday, looking for a place that could accommodate 4 of us for a quick dinner.
Nice place, old but elegant furnishings.
The pizza wasn't bad, decent but nothing exceptional, high prices for the quality.
It's also a shame about the service, we waited almost 1 hour to eat our 4 pizzas, in the meantime a table who arrived after us had already finished eating.
The staff too, the waiters were friendly, but the woman at the reception and a waitress really didn't want to be there and it showed.
Too bad, I thought I could enjoy a proper dinner, given the popular place, but instead I was disappointed.
I won't go back there again.

20/01/2025: Too long in serving and poorly organised. If I order a starter and the other person has a first course they have to bring them to me together, it's not possible for the other person to stand by and watch while I eat the starter. Personally negative experience

08/02/2025: Cheap place, I ask for 4 medium beers they arrive with 4 33ml bottles of beer all different, I ask for wine on the list they arrive with another bottle, I ask for oil they arrive with a bottle from the supermarket, I ask for pepper they arrive with a pepper grinder from the supermarket among other things with little pepper. Spaghetti with clams drowned in oil. Low level.

24/01/2025: Had dinner last night with some friends, excellent food in terms of quality and presentation, excellent service.
03/01/2025: Non avevo mai fatto caso a questo locale sito in posizione alquanto defilata nel quartiere Crenna di Gallarate. Ho mangiato, invece, uno dei migliori risotti della mia vita: risotto con fonduta di cipolla e fagioli, delicatissimo, cremosissimo e profumatissimo. Mia moglie e mio figlio sono stati entusiasti del loro risotto con radicchio e scamorza; come antipasto un tenerissimo carpaccio di magatello. Il tutto innaffiato con dell'ottima birra artiginale. Complimenti vivissimi al proprietario per la eccelsa qualità del cibo, per l'ottimo gusto negli arredi, per la cortesia ormai, purtroppo, d'altri tempi. I prezzi sono contenuti ed alla portata di ogni tasca. Non ho esitazioni a definire questo locale come uno dei migliori di Gallarate.

14/02/2025: I'm sorry I can't give more stars to this wonderful place. It's the third consecutive year we've come for Valentine's Day. Every year the atmosphere is more beautiful, the food shows quality in the raw materials of the product and research in the preparation of the dishes. It is plausible that some dishes may not appeal to everyone. Even though the wine we requested was not available, they managed to recommend an extremely valid alternative that I will certainly purchase personally (the owner gave us his place of trust). The only parameter to improve on is the service. Unfortunately, an hour and forty for the first courses having only served the appetizer after 35 minutes is a little long, considering that we opted for the fixed menu. In addition, the dishes remained on the table almost until the next course arrived. In any case, we trust that next time they will be able to amaze us again. And all in all it was nice to chat about more or less for once

18/02/2025: We celebrated my wife's birthday on Sunday and it was a fantastic experience. Large room with fantastic view of the external landscape. Courteous and professional staff. Fine and never banal cuisine.
17/02/2025: A photo is worth a thousand words. This was supposed to be a pizza with pistachio... without sauce, burnt pistachios on top, very hard pizza that couldn't even be cut with a knife, ditto the other pizzas we took, the gluten-free ones and the vegetables on top still raw... they recovered on the desserts but the pizza is terrible
