12/01/2025: The hotel is located just outside the village center, but is well connected by bus. It's not far to the slopes. The breakfast selection is okay and typically Italian, rather sweet. The room was good according to the price. The spa area available is sufficient and beautiful.

23/12/2024: The entrance is directly on the slope, but in a slightly narrow spot Good food, with homemade noodles. Decent service, they were not rude but not welcoming either.

20/12/2024: The experience of reaching the restaurant by snowmobile at night is very fun in winter. In short... If you have the opportunity to go there and don't take advantage of it, you're crazy! Amazing is an understatement! Wonderful New Year's Eve, kind owner and waiters, breathtaking view, delicious food!! Thank you 🤩🤩🤩🤩

11/12/2024: Unfortunately I has to say that quality of the pizza was much much higher then in city centre restaurant. Very good. We will take another one tomorrow. Take away pizza for perfect price with perfect taste.

28/12/2024: It's not correct to book at the beginning of the month, arrive there and be told that they don't keep the booked table!!!! If I arrived and there wasn't a free table!! You see you booked with thefiork at the beginning of the month, too bad, the food was excellent

29/08/2024: Prenotato nel tardo pomeriggio, mi hanno inviato conferma via SMS. Già questo dimostra una buona organizzazione. Locale abbastanza grande ma disytrbuito tra più sale. Servizio curato e preciso. Buono anche il benvenuto con pane di vario tipo e burro. in due abbiamopreso un menù e due piatti à la carte. Tutto ottimo, ma i pizzoccheri e le cappelle di porcino fritte spiccavano tra tutte. Carta dei fini ben fornita. Conto non economico ma corretto per il cipo il serivizio ed il locale, Se torno a Livigno torno anche alla Pioda.

29/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato due sere provando pizzoccheri, funghi (trifolati, alla griglia e impanati), polenta, cotoletta di pollo, selezione di formaggi. Tutto veramente squisito. Ho apprezzato in particolare i profumi in evidenza e l'equilibrio dei sapori in tutte le portate. Vini ottimi, servizio pronto e cordiale. Porzioni abbondanti e prezzi allineati con altri ristoranti di qualità ben inferiore, quindi promosso a pieni voti. Da provare e riprovare.

16/12/2024: What can I say exceeded all expectations. Warm and welcoming location, my partner and I ate in the room, very intimate, the attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Excellent food, quality products. The sommelier recommended some good local wine that went well with the dishes. the only advice I would give regarding the dishes is to dare more, push the flavors more. (But this is my personal taste). Successful surprise. We will definitely come back to visit you🩷

01/01/2025: Good food and excellent value for money. Not a very large place, small spaces but overall well looked after. Friendly, attentive and very quick staff and waiters. Very rude owner who, after pointing out to her that I had been having lunch for some time in the company of her generous bottom leaning on my table, felt offended to the point of telling me that she does what she wants in her house. Embarrassing. Ps I also behave as I see fit in my house with guests, but in general they don't pay the bill.

03/01/2025: Average restaurant proposal of what Livigno offers: hyper touristy. Without infamy and without praise. On the other hand, the pizza for me with praise was really excellent. The cooking is not done with wood but you absolutely don't regret it. Well done!

07/01/2025: Ristorante magico, bellissima atmosfera e attenzione al cliente eccellente! Piatti tipici ma molto innovativi e raffinati! Cucina veramente eccellente e di qualità! Marcia in più i lama e la possibilità di fare attività con gli animali dell’agriturismo! Con la neve poi tutto prende una magica atmosfera! Torneremo con mia moglie sicuramente! Prezzi giusti per gli ottimi piatti che offrono! A presto!!!

05/01/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo splendido posto mangiando un delizioso carpaccio di cervo prima e dei pizzoccheri poi. I pizzoccheri erano molto buoni ma molto pesanti forse troppo burro e formaggio? Staff super cordiale. Il giorno successivo siamo tornati per fare la passeggiata con lama e alpaca, esperienza bellissima, Caramel sei stupendo 😍. Per il resto niente da dire, continuate così.

12/01/2025: The husband and I have just had a week at the Amerikan. It was fab. Service from start to finish, reception, bar, restaurant, cleaning were all exceptional. People were warm, considerate, helpful and always engaging. Our room was super, plenty of space with modern fixtures, good lighting and an excellent en suite ….. one of the best showers ever and a plentiful supply of steaming hot water. The location for us was super but I wanted to let those who read the review that it is at the far end of Livigno. It’s a 30 minute walk back if you don’t want to use buses and the drag pull ski lift does enable access to the rest of the ski area if there is plenty of snow. We loved the location. Buses are plentiful to get you to the main lifts of the resort and if you get the blue bus rather than the red bus it is pretty empty on a morning. I really recommend the hotel.

08/01/2025: Everything perfect.....suite room 82 as well as being very beautiful is also very clean and comfortable. The restaurant staff were excellent.... professional and very very kind. The cuisine was excellent. The person who welcomed us at check in was very kind. In short, we will certainly return to this magical place.

23/12/2024: After making me, my wife, and our two kids wait for 25 minutes while seating other people who arrived later, the waiter refused to give us a table for five because we were “only” four. Instead, he gave the table to a group of five who had just arrived.

23/12/2024: Atrocious service from rude wait staff. Food was decent, but spoiled by having to deal with the poor staff. My partner and I literally may as well have been ghosts in there. Never going back :)
