29/06/2025: Osteria del Cavolo is a charming tavern on the edge of the historic center of Monza. Perfect for those who want to enjoy dinner in the early evening and then continue to the center or for those who visit the city on the fly and need a strategic location, Osteria del Cavolo offers a fairly varied menu that allows you to taste different house specialties. Although the prices are not exactly those of a tavern, the quality of the dishes is definitely very good and the location, service and small complimentary tastings make you forget the extra cost. The waiters have a convivial approach that never lapses into familiarity and are happy to explain the dishes on the menu. Although the service is generally fast, the waiters do not induce you to leave the table for other customers but give you the opportunity to enjoy the post-dinner without pressure. In conclusion, Osteria del Cavolo is a pleasant alternative to consider if you are in the center of Monza!

23/06/2025: A place with character, furnished with taste and creativity, a well-kept and welcoming environment. We ordered 2 glasses of prosecco, a platter of Lombardy cold cuts, an osso buco, a fillet, an apple pie, a caprese, 2 coffees, 2 bottles of water, in total €117. Excellent quality food, kind and non-invasive staff. Highly recommended!

20/07/2025: We went there yesterday for the first time and had a great time. The fish was excellent, the service was excellent, the place was very welcoming, and the waiters were excellent and helpful. Thank you for everything. I'll be happy to return.

10/06/2025: microwaved food and greasy oily

04/06/2025: Either we found the wrong day, or people settle for less. All excellent reviews but my experience was terrible. We arrive, there were 5 of us and the welcome was not great. We sit down and they bring us a huge blackboard with the illegible hand-written menu... We ask if that was all there was and they say yes... And that's fine... The food arrives, pasta, potatoes and tasteless provola, the pasta with seafood inedible because it was raw. We asked for something fishy because "they are from Naples" and there is nothing except sea bream in crazy water.... as they said, one sea bream was enough for 2 people... Maybe only one would eat... We asked for anchovies off the menu and annoyed they made them... All the fish was frozen, you could taste it.. And surprise! The hairs in the anchovies, how disgusting guys, everything is fine but it makes you want to throw up!! I had asked to take away the leftover pasta and in the end as soon as we left we threw it in the bin just outside. I would have liked to put photos of the crap we ate but unfortunately Google does not let me put them. A truly terrible experience, I strongly advise against it.
