19/05/2025: We stayed for 3 nights at Osteria Marascia with our child and dog. The room was clean, spacious and very cozy. The historic building has a very authentic feeling to it and we enjoyed the outdoors area in the nice weather. We ate dinner twice at the premises - fantastic food quality and great matching wine selection. The restaurant service was very kind and attentive and the hotel manager made us feel very welcome. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Osteria Marascia.

25/04/2025: It is located a few meters from the Adda Nord park in front of the church of S. Maria del Lavello. Having lunch with friends. Welcoming, characteristic and historic environment. Impeccable service and excellent food.

22/05/2025: Perfect restaurant on Lake Como, ideal for family parties, banquets, but also romantic dinners for couples. Large terrace on the lake, closed in winter and open in summer and cooled, from which you can enjoy a splendid view throughout the meal. The dish for which the restaurant is rightly famous is the unmissable risotto sottovento with perch, tasty but delicate at the same time. Recommended!

19/05/2025: El lugar es bastante caro, pero definitivamente está pagando por la vista y no la comida. Algunos “alimentos seguros” como la pasta estaban bien, pero la comida en general era bastante desagradable. El servicio era dulce y agradable, pero lamentablemente no disfrutamos de las comidas. Algunos de nosotros utillamos los menús con el pescado, estos no fueron de nuestro agrado. Definitivamente no sabía fresco en absoluto y todos tenían la misma consistencia tibia. Sin embargo, tienen grandes bebidas, etc., por lo que el lugar sería perfecto para un par de bebidas y una cesta de pan.

30/05/2025: Superb atmosphere, pretty exterior, in a small quiet square away from the crowds, top-notch staff and service, succulent appetizers, dishes and desserts. We hadn't booked and luckily we were able to get a table! A very nice table to make!

18/05/2025: Fantastisk mat med lokala råvaror och väldigt trevlig och personlig service. Vi åt förrätt med smördeg och svamp samt huvudrätt med citronrisotto och stekt aborre från sjön.

18/05/2025: Dopo essere stati a cena con amici siamo stati subito incantati dalla location e dalla competenza e gentilezza dei gestori. Per questo motivo abbiamo scelto La Breva per festeggiare il nostro matrimonio: ottima scelta! Ospiti molto soddisfatti, grande disponibilità e gentilezza dal personale e dai gestori. Un grazie speciale a Sandra che ha reso indimenticabile la nostra giornata!

14/04/2025: My partner and I had a wonderful stay and dining experience at Nicolin. It was truly a fantastic place, with delicious food and exceptional staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We certainly hope to return!

11/04/2025: Frankly, I find it unacceptable to book a hotel room (NO hostel, NO b&b) without the opportunity to have an air conditioner and keep the room cold. Taking a shower was annoying and during the night you could feel the cold. Not even an extra blanket in the wardrobe. The icing on the cake was that the restaurant inside the hotel was very noisy and there was no room for sleep until midnight. I was at work and had to wake up early the next morning. The management dismissed me with an 'I'm sorry but the others complained because they felt hot so we turned everything off. Unacceptable!! Highly not recommended!!!

28/05/2025: Restaurant frozen in time, but not in taste. The dishes I tasted are all excellent, fresh meat and cooked to perfection! The celery salad is fantastic! Friendly staff! Absolutely recommended!

17/05/2025: I entered the restaurant with my female Labrador and the owner, very rude, immediately made me feel bad about the fact that he had no space for the dog, I told him that if he wanted I would leave and he told me "do what you want", so I left: Oscar for rudeness!!

17/05/2025: Sono entrato nel ristorante col mio labrador femmina e il proprietario, molto scortese, mi ha fatto subito pesare il fatto che non aveva spazio per il cane, io gli ho detto che se voleva me ne sarei andato e lui mi ha detto "faccia quello che le pare", quindi me ne sono andato: Oscar della scortesia!!

26/04/2025: Dinner with friends, they choose this place, I know it very well, and I know it will be a nice evening with good food. Everything perfect, as in my memories, years pass but it remains perfect, refined to a fault, both for the location and for the service, I thank you for your professionalism and I highly recommend it!

21/04/2025: The place is fabulous and enjoys a beautiful view of the lake. Well-kept room with a beautiful vaulted ceiling. Too bad for two really noisy tables. Everything was good but the Venetian was below expectations.

27/05/2025: I had an amazing birthday dinner in this gorgeous, fairytale-like location. The place is nestled in the heart of the lush greenery of Montevecchia, where you can admire the hills and mountains while enjoying a great glass of wine and delicious food prepared with care and rich flavors. We made some beautiful new memories. Grazie mille!

21/05/2025: Great food, beautiful location (feels luxurious but rustic) and very friendly staff. Got the steak with mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes, which was very good (4/5) and then the tiramisu as dessert - best one in Italy during this trip. We even got a taste of homemade limoncello just before our journey home. Top marks.

24/05/2025: A restaurant with a splendid view of the lake and the tip of Bellagio. Quick service in a crotto environment but the dishes are well cared for by the kitchen; the pastas are al dente and the sauces delicious; even the fish from the lake is worth trying. Narrow road to get there but you can find a place somewhere.

23/05/2025: Restaurant with spectacular views. About a 30 minute walk from Varenna, the food we had was delicious, professionally presented and the service was very pleasant. Highly recommended!

Trovato per caso è andato oltre le nostre aspettative. Consigliato per una serata speciale, da passare in relax totale senza badare troppo al conto finale, comunque proporzionato

03/05/2025: That's all there is to it. Perfect. In the simplicity of the place chosen to welcome customers and of the structure itself, there is a lot of attention and warmth. A place where past and present meet. Marvelous. Workers carry out their roles with passion and concentration... exemplary people in life and in the working environment. I have a serious peanut allergy. We told the waitress and she kindly explained to us the oils they use: olive oil and butter (products that are recommended for those with allergies like mine and for health reasons); furthermore, when I asked for desserts, the waitress wanted to take me with her to show me the ice creams and give me the opportunity to evaluate whether I wanted to try one ice cream or the other (or none) based on the needs that I know to protect myself. No insistence. No superficiality. The food? What they do here is REAL FOOD! Humility, passion, commitment and modesty are all you need to be successful... and what I saw here is an extraordinary demonstration of this! ♥️

03/06/2025: They wanted 50 Euros cash to make a reservation on a Tuesday evening. Pretty disappointed, but I’d much rather give my 50 Euros to a restaurant that’s away from the hustle and bustle who could use the money more.

02/06/2025: Excellent quality, I especially appreciated the orecchiette al lago. However, it would be better to have more options for appetizers, especially with local ingredients. The price is ok since it is in a very touristy place
