31/08/2025: The best food in Lake Como! We went to Varenna for the day and had lunch here. Excellent service from all the waiters, exquisite cuisine, delicious dishes, and gourmet decor. Quality service and food, with a very good wine and sparkling wine list. Desserts: an art!

29/08/2025: We had such a nice dinner here a couple of nights ago! The owner and his wife were so kind accommodating my husband and I for dinner (have a reservation in advance!). It was our favorite meal we had during our trip.

14/08/2025: Excellent welcome and service. Located in a beautiful village away from the hustle and bustle. Best to book. Food that fills you up and doesn't fill you up. Fantastic. Highly recommended.

13/08/2025: We had dinner at this historic restaurant. We took all four antipasti that were on the menu, as main courses we took: pasta, catch of the day, wild boar roast and tagliata. Everything was delicious, beautifully served and made with soul! We were very pleased! We will definitely come back!

26/08/2025: Our first time here, we were with a group of friends. We were all very happy with our food and wine choices. There was a good choice of meat and fish dishes, also vegetarian options (although we didnt try those). The service was friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend. We will be back!

29/08/2025: The food is fantastic. Truly Italian, top-quality fresh pastas made tableside with fresh ingredients. I was very impressed by the skill of the staff and everyone's passion. It showed on your plate. A true gem; if you go here, you won't be disappointed. Make sure to book in advance, otherwise it's packed. We sat in the courtyard on a beautiful summer evening. Perfect.

29/08/2025: A must-see when visiting Lecco. A restaurant steeped in tradition, with exceptional service, Italian flair, and a passion for good food. We've been there twice, but it was the steak tartare, which is always prepared right at your table, and the ravioli with freshly grated truffle that absolutely stole my heart. Both times, we grabbed a table in the garden, just before dusk. It's atmospheric, delicious, and there's no unbearable feeling of overeating afterwards. We always felt taken care of and welcomed from the moment we booked until we left. We highly recommend it!

25/07/2025: Despite the beautiful location, something's missing. The food is very tasty, but the pasta with speck is very salty. The steak and local lake fish stew are very good. The service is rather reserved. The restaurant is more for an elegant evening.

20/07/2025: It was a pleasant discovery. I dined at this restaurant with my girlfriend at sunset, which offers a very relaxing view—it looks like a painting in some ways. The food wasn't bad. The prices were reasonable considering the food and the view, which, I repeat, is definitely the added value of this restaurant.

24/08/2025: Highly recommended, located a few kilometers from the lake in a very quiet area overlooking the mountains. We stayed two nights at this hotel. In my opinion, it fully deserves a 4-star rating. We were welcomed by the very kind staff. The room for two had an extra-large, extremely comfortable double bed. The bathroom had an extra-large shower. Their cleanliness and order are undeniable. The breakfast was excellent, both sweet and savory, served both outside and in their elegant and well-kept dining room. We didn't enjoy their dinner because the staff was on vacation, but judging by the menu and photos, the dinner should have been excellent as well. What can I say? A wonderful experience, thank you very much.

20/08/2025: We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed our time. The hotel is small with a warm, homely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was cleaned daily and was always spotless and comfortable. Breakfast had the classic Italian selection, which was simple but tasty. Parking was convenient, and the train station is just a few minutes away, making it easy to get around. Overall, a lovely place to stay.

17/08/2025: We went there thinking they also offered restaurant service, but instead they only offer pizza. I had a Margherita that reminded me of the taste of pizza from 30 years ago, when I was little. The pizza was truly delicious, I hadn't had anything like it in a long time! The place has a vintage feel, so it's a dated atmosphere, but it's very friendly and made us feel right at home, so I highly recommend it!

15/08/2025: Authentic, old-school pizzeria. Very reasonable prices and excellent pizzas, including the tiramisu. The most expensive pizza is €10. No fuss. Highly recommended!

23/08/2025: During this August holiday, if you're looking for a place that's open past 10 p.m., it's more than difficult. Not only was this place open, but it was also a very friendly and helpful place, with excellent pizzas! I recommend it 100%.

13/07/2025: Espacio acristalado en el exterior del hotel, en la plaza, que resulta razonablemente cómodo. Había reservado con antelación nuestra primera noche en Varenna, ya que llegaríamos temprano por la tarde un sábado y queríamos estar seguro de conseguir una mesa. El servicio estuvo bien, al igual que la comida, excepto la lasaña, que fue decepcionante. En general está bien, pero hay muchas otras opciones una vez que hayas visitado Varenna.

25/08/2025: A very charming and quaint location, with a medieval feel, neat and clean. The service is prompt, courteous, and punctual, with attention to detail on the table. Dishes are not ordinary, with generous portions and good quality, though a bit pricey. The wine cellar is extensive and caters for all budgets. The outdoor garden is very pleasant and well-maintained.

23/07/2025: This hotel/restaurant is a magical place. We celebrated our twenty-nine-year-old daughter's birthday, six of us plus a seven-month-old baby. We chose this restaurant because we wanted a lake view, and from the outdoor terrace, all the tables enjoy a panoramic view of the lake and mountains. It's nestled in a beautiful park, creating a unique atmosphere. The dinner was excellent, featuring meat and lake fish. The prices were absolutely reasonable. We used the bathrooms, and they were extremely clean, as was the entire complex, which is divinely maintained. Light colors, everything very delicate and sophisticated. The staff was extremely kind and professional. The final highlight of the evening, which took place in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, was the pool, where they suggested and accompanied us for a few romantic photos at dusk. This hotel has two very convenient parking lots, one at the entrance and one just up a gentle slope from which you access the terrace. We will definitely return for other occasions; we had a great time. Inside, too, the spacious dining room has large windows overlooking the lake.

29/07/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Passionate about perch risotto, we saw some photos online and immediately decided to try this restaurant. The atmosphere is truly enchanting: elegant, quiet, yet with a casual touch that immediately puts you at ease. We were greeted with a delightful welcome appetizer: cacciatorino, pieces of focaccia, and bread—a detail that immediately makes all the difference. The perch risotto is simply the best we've ever tasted (and we've tried quite a few!). We finished with a delicious berry cheesecake. The owner is kind and helpful, a truly lovely person. A truly positive experience. Highly recommended!

02/08/2025: Everything here was amazing. The rooms, the view, the service, the pool, the breakfast, and even the restaurant in the hotel are absolutely perfect. This is easily one of the BEST places to stay in Varenna and if I ever get a chance to come back I know where I'll be staying.

30/07/2025: Do not recommend if you have kids. They would not even take us because we had 2 kids with us and were incredibly rude. Thankfully a lovely couple at the restaurant who was appalled by what happened recommended a lovely restaurant down the street. We went in April and it wasn’t even busy they just didn’t want us. Our kids were silent and well behaved also so no clue why they did that.
