21/06/2025: We stayed here for 3 nights and ate at the restaurant 3 times. Our room was very spacious, clean and had a nice view of the lake. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The food was excellent. Everything we ate was delicious and fresh, you can tell they use high quality ingredients.

10/06/2025: A super dog-friendly, lovely hotel and restaurant with excellent cuisine and very attentive, partly German-speaking staff. We'll be back.

30/06/2025: There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was superb. Gourmet as much as you want but, filling. Impeccable service, the owner is a nice person, as are the waiters, very competent and informed about what you have on your plate. The four of us spent €220: three appetizers, 4 first courses, two Pavlova for dessert: very good. Bottle of Valtellina superiore wine, a sparkling water, a still water. Four coffees offered. The quality of the food was excellent, €55 per person is well worth it.

29/06/2025: Nice restaurant located in Lierna that overlooks the lake. Informal atmosphere. The typical lake fish dishes are good. The Risotto Sottovento revisited with perch is special. Friendly and helpful staff

28/06/2025: The food was decent. They completely messed up the starters, they went back, and again one of the two instead of trenette was linguine, we made do with it.

27/06/2025: What a nice surprise! The photos "almost" don't do this Osteria justice! Welcoming, intimate, clean place. Delicious dishes, served with care. Each dish has a refined flavor, not banal without weighing down the dinner. Quality price, top! I'll be back!

Food carefully prepared by the chef and with local and fresh ingredients, wide selection of wines selected by the owner (sommelier) with a lot of passion. 5/5

15/06/2025: Traditional Lecco restaurant, open since 1950. Typical lake specialties are served, such as missoltini with polenta. Excellent appetizers and boiled meat cart. Good desserts

16/07/2025: Excellent pizzas at a great price. Unfortunately, you can only sit inside – the ambiance is very dark and dated. The service, unfortunately, wasn't very friendly or welcoming. A smile shouldn't have been too much to ask for; it gave the impression that the visit was a nuisance to the owner. A shame! The food, however, was delivered very quickly.

21/06/2025: This place has its advantages, but unfortunately many disadvantages. It is a very good place as a base for visiting the area around Lake Como and the hotel includes parking in the price... But everything in this hotel is claustrophobic. The room where the bed fits and there is 50 cm to each wall, it is hard to turn around in the shower, and sitting on the toilet you can simultaneously wash your hands in the sink and rest your feet on the shower cabin which is on the other side of the bathroom ;) Breakfast, although good, is very poor (despite the fact that it is a restaurant) because there is NOTHING from the warm dishes, scrambled eggs on a platter 3 seconds after being brought it was already winter, no heated bain-marie. I can boldly list everything that was at breakfast - winter scrambled eggs, winter dough pretending to be pizza on a thick layer, tomato, mozzarella, cheese, 2x cold cuts, jams, cereals and a few sweets... and also yoghurts;)

30/05/2025: I'll start with the positive point, clearly the price. Do you get pizzas for an average of €6? However, you shouldn't be picky. The crust is thin. The condiments aren't very good, and the welcome isn't very warm either. So, ultimately, I recommend it if you're on a budget. Otherwise, it's best to move on.

13/07/2025: Espacio acristalado en el exterior del hotel, en la plaza, que resulta razonablemente cómodo. Había reservado con antelación nuestra primera noche en Varenna, ya que llegaríamos temprano por la tarde un sábado y queríamos estar seguro de conseguir una mesa. El servicio estuvo bien, al igual que la comida, excepto la lasaña, que fue decepcionante. En general está bien, pero hay muchas otras opciones una vez que hayas visitado Varenna.

28/06/2025: This place was one of the most popular dinner spots with quite a bit of people waiting. We thankfully didn't have to wait too long as a pair. If your group is larger than a pair, it might be best to split into smaller groups. We ordered white wine, san pelligrino, pasta with fish, a burrata salad and salmon topped with pistachios. The salmon and burrata salad had such distinct and strong flavors. The burrata was refreshing and the salmon was savory with a nice crisp. The pasta was delicious, however the flavors were a bit dull. The food here was 11/10 and would love to come back ~

28/06/2025: Excellent restaurant in Varenna. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and we were lucky enough to snag two tables on the spur of the moment. The service was very attentive and friendly. The selection of dishes is really good, with something for everyone, including vegetarians. The price-performance ratio is also good for the quality offered. Highly recommended!

13/06/2025: Nice restaurant a few steps from the lake, beautiful characteristic location, we were welcomed in the garden with great courtesy, lake specialties with very good food, competent waiters and fair value for money, recommended! Park down in the parking lot and take a walk because the road is narrow
