The right place if you want to rediscover the traditional cuisine of the place; excellent dishes, the perch risotto and roasts served at the table are highly recommended; very kind and knowledgeable staff, and finally a very well-curated wine list. To return.

This place is a gem. Perfect location and the food was amazing. But the highlight was the service - I could see the care that their servers showed the customers. I got a table as soon as the place opened for the day but it filled up really quickly. So maybe making a reservation (if possible) would be better.

Amazing traditional Italian food with great service and very child friendly!

We had the pleasure of dining as a couple at this restaurant....first course which I would define as "honest" crepes, bresaola and taleggio...second course (tender...soft...good meat) braised meat with polenta... dessert (homemade....good) apple pie accompanied with custard...the only NEGATIVE THING IS THE "BILL" which I would recommend lowering slightly....(€72..total) ADVICE TO THOSE WHO WANT TO SPEND Rating 6.5

Ristorante storico con vista lago, l’ovale accogliente anche se decisamente retro come ambiente, servizio ed accoglienza veramente ottimi e decisamente veloci. Menù molto vario legato alla tradizione lombarda e per fortuna lontanissimo da certe offerte ormai volte ad un turismo veloce e superficiale. Abbiamo preso il classico bollito insalata di finocchi con tartufo e dolci, tutto ottimo prezzo normale per la zona che sono inferiori a ugelli che si trovano a Como. Posizione perfetta sul lungo lago di fronte al pontile della navigazione e a due passi dal centro. Consiglato

Wir besuchten dieses Restaurant gegenüber der langen Seepromenade auf Empfehlung italienischer Freunde und es wird offenbar überwiegend von inländischen (Stamm-) Gästen besucht. Dieses alte Traditionslokal, ein Familienbetrieb, war für mich vor allem wegen der althergebrachten Rituale am gedeckten Tisch bemerkenswert, so werden vielfach von einem rollenden "Fleischwagen" Gesottenes wie Tafelspitz und Zunge, bzw. Braten vorgelegt oder auch das rohe Tartar mit dem Eigelb obendrauf erst bei Tisch von dem Kellner per mise-en-place fertig angerichtet, alles faszinierend anzuschauen. Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Dessert waren sehr gut, aber nicht sensationell, mir fehlte ein wenig der letzte Kick, was die Würze anbetraf. Die Preise sind angenehm verhalten, das coperto wird mit jeweils EUR 2.- verrechnet. Eine kleiner Sitzgarten ist vorhanden, Parkplätze sollte man an der gegenüber liegenden Strassenseite finden.
