Ristorante Orestino In Lecco

Orestino has become a tradition for us: every year, before Christmas, we come here for our group dinner. But I returned a few days ago, and once again, it proved to be a sure thing. We've been here several times over the years, and the food is always divine. Even when we're a large group, the service manages the table well, and the wait is never excessive. I obviously recommend booking, especially during busy periods. The cuisine is typical, rich, and delicious, as you'd expect from a place like this. The tartare, prepared tableside and customizable to your taste, is now a must-try for us. Last time, I also had ravioli with truffle and butter, which were simply devastating. And then there's the boiled meat trolley: so beautiful and inviting that I stood there staring at it and completely forgot to take a photo. 😂 The location completes everything: Orestino is located directly on Lecco's lakefront, in a truly beautiful and evocative setting that greatly contributes to the restaurant's atmosphere. Good service, a great atmosphere, traditional cuisine prepared as it should be, and a location that certainly has its merits. For me, it remains one of Lecco's most iconic traditional restaurants and a place I always love to return to. Highly recommended!!

A very interesting place with a slightly older décor, but it has its own unique atmosphere. The artichokes were delicious as an appetizer and the main courses were good. The semi-friedo was delicious, but unfortunately, we don't recommend the blueberries with ice cream. The fruit was sour, but the staff was happy to handle my complaint without any problem. It was quite busy at lunchtime, and the dishes on the other tables looked delicious. I definitely recommend this place 👍

TOP service, super friendly and hospitable; on top of that, the food was also super tasty and of high quality, and they even brought water for the dog without asking. Highly recommended and very well priced.

A very welcoming location with a beautiful view of Lake Lecco. I really enjoyed the vegetables and artichokes, and overall, we ate well. The fish, seared tuna, I'm not sure where it came from. The prices are appropriate for the quality, for a historic and very elegant venue. The only thing I didn't understand was the service attire. While the only man in the dining room was wearing an apron, the women were wearing only black pants. One of the two was walking around the dining room wearing tight, see-through leggings, which I thought were inappropriate for the setting. Otherwise, I'd definitely return.

Excellent dinner. The creamed cod with crostini is truly superb. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. Congratulations!

Typical Italian cuisine. Clearly stands out from the restaurants in the city center. Reservations are highly recommended. Moderate prices, incredibly delicious food.
