22/03/2026: We visited this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately the seafood didn't convince us: it was marked as frozen (with an asterisk) and, unlike other experiences, this time it had virtually no flavor and was also quite salty.
Our advice is to try the local dishes, which are probably better. The staff, however, was very friendly.

12/02/2026: Had an “interesting” experience at this restaurant. I came a bit after noon on a Friday for lunch because the reviews were good and it seemed very authentic to the local cuisine. I was surprised when the lead server told me that they did have tables available but that I’d need to leave by 1pm because they had reservations. I figured that was enough time. But they’re taking their time getting my food to me. I ordered the marubini, which I just ate, but I’m waiting for my clam pasta. It’s 12:39pm and I don’t think I’ll be able to finish my food that quickly, especially because I’m on vacation and don’t want to be rushed. Meanwhile, I also see 3 open tables available, so I’m not sure what’s going on. I’ll add that this city is not very racially diverse, if that means anything.
Also, since I clearly look like a tourist, they gave me a large glass bottle of expensive water instead of a small plastic bottle. Not sure if they just assume that Americans drink a ton of water at their meals or what. But I asked to switch to a small bottle since I hadn’t opened the large one.

16/04/2026: We were passing through Cremona. After visiting the cathedral, we were looking for a restaurant for dinner. We found this osteria. The food was very good, for example, the risotto with foie gras and the pigeon. The wine, Lugana Da Frati, was also excellent. We received very friendly service. Thank you!

16/04/2026: We arrived with considerable enthusiasm and curiosity about the concept, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Even just to place an order in peace, we encountered unprofessional, rude, and surly staff. Furthermore, we noted poor hygiene in several areas.
04/04/2026: Amazing! The waiters were really nice and explained everything on english even though its not their first language. We went there for a birthday and were not disappointed. The steak was on point! Thank you!!

31/12/2025: I'm listing only incontrovertible FACTS, then judge for yourself: a glass of Gutturnio, I repeat GUTTURNIO, costs 12 euros. The owner was wearing a Panerai watch. The waitress is beautiful, in fact, the most beautiful woman in Cremona. I'm not making judgments about the food. I'm attaching the receipt as irrefutable proof. If the owner responds in kind, I ask him to cite only proven FACTS and not facile rhetoric. Keep in mind that I cannot reply. 07/01/2026: We were in the company of relatives from Trigolo, a town in the province of Cremona, who invited us to a birthday party. We went to this excellent local inn. The menu had been pre-arranged with the owners and the birthday girl, and included a fantastic cotechino (a type of pork sausage) cooked in the local style, followed by excellent boiled meats with salsa verde and mustard. And to finish, some excellent desserts. The place was beautiful, and the owners and staff were very knowledgeable and friendly.
11/11/2025: The food is as good as it used to be: simple, well-cooked dishes. The cured meats and cheeses are also excellent, as are the jams that accompany the delicious cheeses. The waiter is friendly and always present, but never inappropriate. The owner is friendly and eager to accommodate every request. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, and the well-chosen background music didn't spoil it. Prices are in line with the market. The Milanese cutlet is a must-try; it's delicious!

15/02/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance for a dinner for two: the place was a bit dated, the food was average (the culatello and marubini were good, the saffron risotto was passable), and the service, unfortunately, was completely inadequate. Left to our own devices after the main course, we waited a long time for someone to offer us dessert. Unfortunately, the maître d', half-hidden around the corner, was busy on his phone, despite there being only four customers in the room. We left our spot and paid the bill (average-high, considering what we'd eaten). What a shame.
20/01/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant due to its proximity to the hotel. The decor is simple, a bit run-of-the-mill. For the appetizer, a "puff pastry" made of three layers of carasau bread, the kind you'd find at Lidl, filled with burrata and cherry tomatoes. The burrata was fresh and delicious. The dish was a simple one, costing €16. For the first course, paccheri (I don't remember the exact name) with cabbage and a mix of meats. The pasta was a bit too al dente, but the dish was tasty. Water, a glass of wine, and a coffee. Total €88 for two. The price/course ratio was quite exaggerated, I'd say. Would I go back? Definitely not.
