18/06/2025: Consigliatissimo, se vuoi vivere una cena romantica sul lago di Como devi provarlo assolutamente. Dalla location ai piatti selezionati, il menu’ è vario, anche i vini giusti e selezionati Da provare!!

31/05/2025: Our host in Maltrasio recommended this restaurant to us. So, on our last day, we wanted to treat ourselves to something else. Unfortunately, the spaghetti with prawns was a complete disappointment. It was edible, but absolutely not worth the high price. The waiters didn't even bother to ask if everything was okay... Overall, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

31/05/2025: Nice service, but very average food. The pasta was very soft and there were very few shrimp, so the price-performance ratio was unfortunately poor.

03/07/2025: The pasta and cote de bœuf Angus were excellent. The view and atmosphere were second to none. The service however left a lot to be desired; especially at these prices. The cocktails and prosecco arrived quickly however the wine arrived 10 minutes after my pasta and only after signaling the staff twice. Furthermore the red wine was warm. The tiramisu presentation and taste were memorable and saved the night.

10/06/2025: From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a special experience. The hotel proactively reached out to confirm our arrival time, and upon mid way our walk from the train station, they were waiting to greet us! We were immediately helped with our luggage and offered a refreshing prosecco on the balcony with absolutely spectacular views – what a welcome! Matteo was incredibly pleasant and made check-in a breeze. We had dinner at their sister company's restaurant, which again offered magnificent views, and were even driven there in a classic convertible by Davide – a fantastic touch! Our room was consistently clean and comfortable throughout our stay. The complimentary breakfast was perfect, with fresh ingredients and an incredibly lovely lady (apologies for not catching her name!) who made the experience even better. The convenience of being so close to both the train station and ferry port was a huge plus. We would absolutely stay here again without a doubt. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality!

25/05/2025: I am not used to leaving negative reviews but I am out of their hotel and have nowhere to sleep. I made a reservation with Booking for one night. When I arrived to check in the blonde lady at the entrance told me that my reservation was not there, and then instead we saw it together on the Booking portal on her PC. Then he told me that check in was until 10pm to get out of trouble (it is not reported anywhere by the way. but evidently he had sold my room to other people leaving me out at night without a room, without any place to sleep hundreds of km from home where I do not know anyone. When I asked for explanations by the way he took my trolley and threw it outside and pushed me forcefully out of the reception when I called the carabinieri to report the situation to the police, who told me to file a complaint, but at that moment they could not help me. I advise you not to stay in this hotel as it is the complete opposite of hospitality. By the way I also paid having made the reservation with the credit card on Booking, I would like at least the money from my company back as I had to sleep in the car in the cold.

17/06/2025: The kitchen doesn't open until 7 p.m. Unfortunately, it's not mentioned online. Pizza was okay. A salad, which consisted only of leaf lettuce, cost €7, which is quite expensive. The food was generally rather bland. The operta for four people was €16. So we bought the table runners but left them there. Operta is normal in Italy, but if the kitchen is closed, you usually don't get charged. The cocktails were good, though, and the atmosphere, right on the lake, is inviting. All in all, it's geared more towards tourists than quality.

29/10/2024: Convenient location for the ferry to reach the various locations, slightly outdated but clean rooms with a view of the lake, plentiful and nice breakfast, very kind staff. I highly recommend

02/10/2024: Soundproofing in the rooms is terrible. You can hear even how fly farts in the room next to yours. We were unlucky, while we stayed, in the next room was a couple who probably hadn't seen each other for a long time.... Rooms small. Washrooms old. But fine. Service good. Personal nice. Breakfast is good enough. It costs a lot, but you pay mostly for the view.

29/06/2025: It combines sophistication and relaxation with modern decor and spectacular views of Lake Como. The terrace is a highlight, very welcoming. The raw meats here are delicious. And the tiramisu is a star. Variety of cocktails. It's not cheap.

11/07/2025: We had lunch at Trattoria del Vapore and had a truly wonderful experience! The place is welcoming, the staff extremely kind, and the food is truly excellent, prepared with care and using quality ingredients. The atmosphere is authentic and relaxing, perfect for enjoying traditional cuisine by the lake. But what struck us most was the extraordinary honesty and helpfulness of the staff: I had forgotten a purse with our passports and only realized it once we were almost in Germany. I called them, and without hesitation, they confirmed they had found it and kindly offered to ship it. They were prompt, precise, and incredibly friendly. A gesture that goes far beyond simple "customer service" demonstrates passion, professionalism, and great humanity. Highly recommended in every way! Thank you so much!

09/07/2025: We had dinner at the restaurant tonight. We had two Milanese ribs, two beers and a salad. They charged us €80.50 for all of this. We didn't even drink water, but the bill included a water for €4.50, which they charged us too! They also charged us for a contorno, which we thought was a side dish, but we didn't eat it either. So we paid €12.50 more than we actually ate. It's sad that they treat tourists like this. After this, I can't give the restaurant a good rating!
