I migliori ristoranti di cucina mediterranea in Udine

17/02/2025: Were here in summer 2024. Maybe it depends on the waiter in charge. At the end of the meal, an envelope containing the bill is placed on the table. We put the money (+ tip) in the envelope and left, like we did 10 times before. This time an employee ran after us and claimed that there wasn't enough in it. Since there were four of us and everyone counted the money again, it was unlikely. Ok if you spoil someone's desire for the admittedly fantastic food and don't want them to come back. Hope the few euros were worth it

16/02/2025: Locale estremamente turistico, che mi è parso più orientato e attento a soddisfare le esigenze dei vacanzieri (soprattutto stranieri) che poi sono anche quelle che fanno incassi ‘facili’ piuttosto che affermare una ristorazione tipica nazionale e ‘personale’. Il che si traduce a mio avviso in piatti discreti, ben presentati, corretti se non abbondanti (i primi) nelle porzioni, ma che non hanno niente né di casalingo né di raffinato e innovativo. Una buona cucina standardizzata, con ingredienti di qualità ma presumibilmente non di mercato, proposta ad un prezzo corretto. Così si riesce sicuramente a soddisfare con successo una certa tipologia di turismo, sicuramente non quella che in una località di mare è alla ricerca di un po’ di schietta tipicità. La mia esperienza passa attraverso degli abbondanti spaghetti alle vongole (troppi, a mio avviso ma forse devono ‘sostenere’ il prezzo di 13,50 euro) e una frittura di calamari (15 euro, pesante e priva del sapore della freschezza di mare). Con un quarto di vino bianco della Casa (3,50 euro) e il coperto (2,50 euro) spendo 34,50 euro. Tempi di servizio biblici probabilmente per un incidente di percorso: la mia comanda si era ‘persa’ per strada. Ambiente curato, così come l’apparecchiatura.

01/12/2024: Liebevoll geführtes Lokal bei dem Signora Mauro die Gäste in Empfang nimmt. Ausgezeichnete Vorspeisen- und Fischvariationen aber auch das Bistecca alla Fiorentina ist fantastisch (wenn es auf der Karte steht) und auch eine sehr gute Weinkarte.

01/11/2024: Sfeervolle restaurant met heerlijke gerechten, vriendelijke personeel, snelle bediening. Wij zijn zelfs paar keer hier geweest tijdens onze zakenreis.

18/02/2025: Torno a distanza di anni in questo locale e ritrovo la stessa atmosfera vivace del passato, il servizio semplice e informale, i prezzi accettabili considerando lo standard della zona. Purtroppo però trovo anche conferme per la cucina, semplice ma anche molto ‘turistica’, con buona cottura ma con ingredienti di qualità ‘media’ che non riescono a dare ai piatti un gusto particolare. Le quantità poi mi sembrano un po’ più ristrette rispetto al passato, che mi erano sembrate invece abbondanti. Io provo delle sardine fritte (uno dei pochi piatti disponibili con ingredienti ‘freschi e locali’) (13 euro) e un’insalata mista (5 euro). Con il coperto a 2 euro e un quartino di vino bianco frizzante della Casa (4,50 euro) spendo 24,50 euro. Locale idoneo per una cena discreta a un prezzo non esagerato, non certo per una serata al gusto di tipicità locali che del resto in zona è sempre più difficile riuscire a fare, quanto meno in locali di fascia media e di prezzo non esorbitante.

16/02/2025: puzza completamente bruciata ai bordi abbiamo dovuto toglierlo e buttarlo sia della pizza maxi e che della pizza normale

10/02/2025: Tutto perfetto: personale cortese, ambiente accogliente e saletta con fogolar a vista che sa di casa. Vetrina della carne con vasta scelta: abbiamo provata una pezzata rossa fvg, ottima!! Buona anche la scelta di vini. Una menzione speciale anche per la pizza a forma di farfalla per la nostra piccola, buonissima.

18/01/2025: Nice little restaurant where you can eat an excellent dish of spaghetti with clams (the dish is called "Fantasie del pescatore"), but also a good pizza. Nice staff! I'll be back!

13/09/2024: Pizza was mediocre - tasted OK (but it doesn't blow you away) but something on my pizza wasn't fresh - I had a stomach ache afterwards. Prices were definitely too high for that. The service was friendly and everything went well. Unfortunately I can't recommend it and we won't be going there again.

02/02/2025: A birthday dinner booked a week in advance. Unfortunately, the double shift system works poorly: by booking for 9.00 pm, it is better to arrive very calmly, because it creates annoying crowding in the narrow entrance and in front of the counter until at least 9.20 pm, it must be said, also due to the rudeness of many customers of the first shift who, although warned that they had to leave the table at 9.00 pm, didn't care and were late with their dinner. We ate pizza and it was very good. We didn't like the lemon sorbet, which everyone at the table took. The arrangement at the table on the first floor was a bit sacrificed and not exactly comfortable. Good service, a little long waiting time. A shame really, because the pizza is worth it, but it wasn't a smooth evening....

02/03/2025: Our food (pizza, bruscetta, insalata mista) and the wine were excellent. The chair covers could be a little cleaner, otherwise very nicely decorated. Very good price/performance ratio. The toilet facility (one toilet each) is far too small for the amount of seats. Highly recommended as a restaurant.

14/02/2025: Disgusting. The menu offers a wide choice of pizzas, but unfortunately I didn't choose anything I liked. The rest of the menu is very poor and there is no fried fish. I ordered grilled fish with vegetables, but the fish was not very fresh and had scales. I don't recommend it.

04/11/2024: Llegamos para descubrir que éramos los primeros huéspedes para el almuerzo. Teníamos una amplia variedad de mesas. El personal recomendó una mesa de terraza dentro del alcance de un ventilador. Teníamos una botella de burbujeo, entrantes de marisco y plato principal. Todo muy bonito. Personal atento y amable. Se puso ocupado, así que una reserva puede ser una buena idea.

09/03/2025: We were in Lignano during the Venice Carnival!! This restaurant was recommended to us and we can only pass on this recommendation!! We had delicious pasta...and really great seafood! The dessert, a cake with pistachios, was a dream!! And we come from Austria...they have the best pastries!! And of course pizza is great too!! The food was served very quickly too!! We would love to come back!

08/02/2025: Restaurant that allows customers to choose from a vast range of foods that can satisfy all palates. Pizzas, meats, fish, vegetables, vegetarian menu. And a wide choice of non-alcoholic drinks, wines, sparkling wines, beers (even zero alcohol) and liqueurs. Large lounges, but also the space to be alone, in intimacy. Courteous, quick and professional service. Plus, the kitchen is visible from the window because it overlooks the large grill. Must visit! Alone, as a couple, in a group

06/02/2025: Excellent, this time the wait was shorter and the pizzas arrived quickly, the staff were friendly and professional

19/02/2025: Average food quality with zero hospitality. The head waiter has a poker face, never smiles and doesn't do any more than the bare minimum. The place can get a bit too loud. Decent and clean toilet. You won't get the real Italian experience as a guest here.

15/02/2025: Centrally located close to an underground car park. Friendly team and delicious food. We'd love to come back.
