The Scialatiello allo Scoglio: Simply memorable. The fresh pasta has the perfect consistency to accommodate a rich, fragrant, and generous sauce made with the freshest seafood. A true dive into the Mediterranean. The Fried Pizza: Golden, piping hot, and super crispy, not at all greasy. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the mastery of the cooking. The Whole Wheat Pizza: A great surprise. The whole wheat dough is light, highly digestible, and has a rustic touch that perfectly enhances the top-quality ingredients of the toppings. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. Top marks, I'll definitely be back!

At the Tramonti restaurant in Modena, they focus on what really matters: substance, the absolute freshness of the ingredients, and authentic flavor. Quality here isn't measured in "drops of sauce," but in the generosity and attention to detail behind each individual course. I had a seafood dinner and it was an exceptional experience. The real added value of the evening, however, was the staff: welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. Rather than pushing the most renowned or expensive dishes, the staff guided me intelligently, recommending some seafood specialties that turned out to be simply exquisite and expertly cooked. Service like this truly makes a difference and makes you feel at home. A place where the quality of the food and the honesty of the cuisine trumps any passing fad. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

26/06/2026: We made a reservation a few days ago for a family member's birthday. We got there and they hadn't recorded the reservation. Okay, no problem, we asked if there was seating, and he pointed us to a sad, gloomy corner of the place. Okay, we were there now, and we sat down. While my wife explained how she'd liked the cake we'd brought served (perhaps with too much emphasis because she wanted everything to be as nice as possible), the owner stopped her, saying that she'd been doing this job for 30 years and we didn't have to explain anything to her. At this point, incredulous at the rude and impolite tone, we tried to stay calm, but there was nothing we could do. The owner, continuing to comment to herself and repeating that she'd been doing this job for 30 years, finally came back to the table and asked us to leave because she didn't like serving us dinner. We look at each other in shock, get up, and leave the restaurant without commenting (as we did during the owner's previous rant). Luckily, we managed to find a table at the Galeone di San Prospero, where we spent a wonderful evening, eating divinely and being treated like royalty, as true professionals do. The owner of the Dalmata, she may have been in this business for 30 years, but either she still has a lot to learn or it's time for her to stop. I don't say this with resentment, but we had a truly embarrassing time in this restaurant because of her behavior. How sad.

12/07/2026: I got a gluten-free pizza from Deliveroo. I was very pleased. Even though I'm in Formigine, it arrived quickly, well-packaged, and piping hot. They're meticulous about packaging their takeaway products. They have gluten-free options for every pizza type (not a given for us celiacs, who usually have to make do with a defrosted Margherita). My only suggestion (and it's not a criticism, just a suggestion) would be to make the menu on Deliveroo more explicit. I mean, only when you open the pizza you've chosen and see the different types of dough do you realize there's a gluten-free option. It's a shame because until then, I'd dismissed it, thinking they didn't have these options. In any case, the pizza was excellent and soft. The starters were also good. After this experience with Deliveroo, I think I'll take the time to visit their restaurant too, since—after the positive experience—I've been looking into their gluten-free menu options and they really have a wide selection. I'm always grateful when I find restaurateurs who don't consider celiac disease a problem to be managed, but a reality to be embraced, offering the possibility of choice.

21/07/2026: Il Patriarca has a long-standing presence in the Modena restaurant scene, with a cuisine that ensures excellent seafood dishes and traditional local cuisine. The pizzeria is also of a decent standard. The staff "knows their trade": the service and table settings complete the excellent impression of an establishment capable of satisfying individuals, couples, families, and even large groups.

16/05/2026: This review is influenced by something that ruined the dinner: I was with my 10-year-old son, who was struggling to finish the cutlet, which was good, but the size of a pizza. The restaurant manager approached him (not me) and offered to pack it up for him to eat the next day, and he accepted. Despite the polite tone, we had the distinct feeling of being asked to vacate the table. So we paid and left. Don't get me wrong; formally, the restaurant managers have always been very courteous. We just wish we could have finished dinner calmly. It was only 8:30 PM. After a busy day, we weren't just looking for a place to eat, but also to spend time together. I thought it was the right place, but I was disappointed.

02/06/2026: From the outside, the restaurant appears to be typically sober, overlooking the pedestrian street and therefore in a busy area. We ordered a slice of meat, which was excellent in every way: cooked, seasoned, and of course, quality. The side dishes were also of high quality. The prices were relatively low for the overall quality. I highly recommend it. The 4 stars are for the ambiance, as we ate at the outdoor terrace, so we didn't try the interior. Excellent experience, with a friendly and knowledgeable owner and staff.
