12/06/2024: To me, the tavern didn't look tasty or good at first. It's in an industrial area. (According to German thinking). The owners were incredibly friendly, the chef explained everything to us and the food was very tasty, made from fresh ingredients and lovingly prepared. If we come to this area again, we will definitely stop there again

31/07/2024: In questo posto si mangiava benissimo, soprattutto quando il ristorante era abbinato all’hotel Cervetta. Io ho preso una cotoletta… specialità della casa, non di mio gusto. Miei amici hanno preso altre cose ma anche assaggiando la “tagliata” o una pasta non mi son piaciuti. Probabilmente la delusione per la cotoletta mi ha depresso . Anche perché lì intorno ce ne son altri di ristoranti che la fanno molto meglio, anche meno unta.

25/07/2024: Trattoria situata in pieno centro storico di Modena. Non dispone di tanti coperti dunque se volete gustare in tranquillità dell'ottimo cibo tipico modenese vi consiglio di prenotare per tempo. Qui la tradizione fa da padrone e spaziamo da ampi taglieri con salumi tipici e gnocco fritto, i loro tipici tortellini in crema di parmigiano e aceto balsamico tutto accompagnato da dell'ottimo Lambrusco.

01/07/2024: I returned to the Trattoria della Gioia because I was impressed the first time; few appearances and a lot of genuine substance surrounded by kind and polite ways. Honestly, I'm used to more expensive places but their simplicity is manifested in everything that surrounds them, their traditions, their dishes, their spices, their out of the ordinary tastes. It's a different dinner. I recommend it to everyone.

03/09/2024: Dinner with à la carte menu in a small restaurant outside the tourist area. The chef, very kind, advised us on the fresh products of the day. The tagliatelle, homemade, with fresh porcini mushrooms, in white, were exceptional. The same goes for trifle. Very good value for money. Well done!

26/08/2024: A fantastic restaurant. Friendly service in beautiful garden setting with a very relaxed atmosphere. The owner has done a fantastic job to restore the property. Our food, especially the pizza was delicious and accompanied by local Lambrusco. Tutto bene!

17/08/2024: Not fresh fish and slow service, despite the high price.... you have to remember things too many times... And it's been a while since I set foot in here and it will be a long time yet...

09/08/2024: But how good they are at Galeone, super friendly right from the start with an invitation for a courtesy non-alcoholic aperitif and stria, then really beautiful and above all tasty pizzas: raw materials and knowing how to work with them are there. An aspect that is also confirmed where they are equally well known (and stronger), namely the sea, with sautéed mussels and clams with crunchy croutons (which is the bread of their pizza) taken as an appetizer, the right proportion which in fact filled me up . House-made white sparkling wine in a pleasant carafe. At the end, the Galleon greets us with a nice limoncino offered, a gem from times gone by that I always appreciate. Bright environment, only flaw in the service which didn't get the timing right, just a little (waiting a few minutes between pizzas) but nothing serious because they are young people who are always ready and friendly. No surprises, actually better than expected considering quality and service. I will definitely return to try other seafood dishes. Until next time!
