06/06/2025: I booked a room here at the refundable rate (you must pay in full up front), and spoke with Tania via e-mail. She was response, give a few days, and very helpful. However, a month later when I unfortunately needed to cancel the entire trip due to a personal situation, I received no response to multiple e-mails asking for the refund. It has been weeks with no response. Be aware that even though there is a refund policy, it seems they do not honor it.

18/05/2025: In the Boccacelio room, it was impossible to rest because of the noise of a motor that ran 24 hours a day (it was like sleeping next to a kitchen extractor fan). Contact with the hotel management was only via WhatsApp. They were very, very sorry but offered no solution or compensation.

20/10/2025: Not wanting to go to a restaurant, we decided to grab a quick bite, so we did! The display case wasn't very inviting, but we tried it anyway. We spent 36 euros, and we almost emptied the counter, especially since it was late at 9:30 PM. We asked for everything to be reheated. When we started eating, the food was hard and barely warm! (Of course, we put it in the microwave). Thanks, but we won't be back. Then we wanted to sit down, but we didn't know it had a different price (two of them came to tell us we couldn't and we had to pay something extra). For God's sake, we didn't want to steal your chairs. But the Coke was cold.

14/08/2025: LOOKS GREAT ! My wife and I were back in beautiful Salerno for 6 days....our fav place in Italy. Apart from all the fabulous restaurants, cafes, espresso bars and gelato shops the beauty of Salerno is it's walkability factor. On Saturday we walked from our apartment on Corso Vittorio Emanuele to Bar Rosa al Corso for delicious mid morning cappuccinos. Directly across the mall we saw this sandwich shop and decided to have a peek inside. Lots of amazing looking fresh made sandwiches & more to go. No seating inside but plenty on the covered outdoor dining area. I bought a bottle of spring water and put this spot on our list for future reference. IT'S ALL GOOD !

27/09/2025: Extremely high prices for a restaurant that serves hard, flimsy first courses, and smelly grilled seafood with flies on the side. Awful experience. Absolutely not recommended.

12/09/2025: ⛔️ Restaurant to Avoid ⛔️ Inedible dish. We ordered seafood pasta with shrimp in sauce: very salty taste, unpleasant odor... The seafood was clearly not fresh. If you want to get sick, this is the place to go. Service-wise, a huge disappointment. When we arrived, we were the only customers in the restaurant, but the waiter was rude and impatient. He stood right behind us, staring at us for several minutes, nervously tapping on a neighboring table and making noise with his pen to push us to order faster. We found this behavior extremely uncomfortable and disrespectful. They don't take the time for strangers. Very disappointed by this experience, especially for a restaurant with high prices: we expected decent service and quality products, but that wasn't the case. A very bad experience; I had chosen this restaurant for my birthday. This will remain etched in my memory and not for good memories...

01/11/2025: Nothing more than nothing. A cuoppo with three things inside. Quite oily, lacking in consistency, and the fish wasn't cooked properly. You ask for a lemon and they tell you they don't provide one!!! In the end, 4 cuoppi came to €49..... To be among the pigeons! €6 for three people, embarrassing!

30/10/2025: I ordered a seafood mix, the bottom of which was filled with fried pizza balls... obviously cheaper...

28/09/2025: I ordered a Margherita pizza for take-away and had to wait 15 minutes, even though the restaurant was completely empty (this was at 10 PM). After a while, I noticed in the kitchen that they took out a ready-made pizza from the fridge, opened the plastic packaging, and heated up a frozen pizza in the oven. Paying €14 for a frozen pizza is absolutely unacceptable and feels like a terrible scam. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all, especially when one expects genuine Italian food. I ordered a Margherita pizza for take-away and had to wait 15 minutes, even though the restaurant was completely empty (it was 10 PM). 26/09/2025: Awful - worst food we’ve had by far in Italy. I also was told they served me GF pasta and it definitely wasn’t because I got sick. Just avoid it at all costs
