17/11/2024: I saw this property by chance, as it was not far from the place where I was staying. Since it also has a spa I asked them if they did manicures. I was told yes and that the cost was thirty euros as it was a spa manicure complete with hand scrub.
However, I expected it to be worth thirty euros, but instead they use quite cheap, cheap nail polishes, at least the one I saw and which was used for me.
It took a long time for it to dry, after two hours it was already "caught" here and there... beautiful color but unfortunately poor quality. Obviously someone who spends thirty euros expects a nail polish of at least good quality, which lasts a couple of days, I'm not saying long... or at least an evening! I went to complain and was told that it was aimed more at the spa side therefore on the massage and instant scrub that was given to me and that I should have said it immediately but obviously it didn't "ruin" immediately because at the beginning I tried to stay very careful. I was told to come back sometime to put it back but since I'm not from the area I honestly don't feel like it. In short, spending thirty euros for this type of treatment seems excessive to me... money down the drain... one wants to spend even more but it must be worth it... I was expecting at least a long-lasting nail polish or some particular product... In short, the game wasn't worth it, at the beginning I was also enthusiastic about the very beautiful color and the kind beautician, but seeing the result in the following hours I was disappointed.
17/11/2024: Great hotel, location was perfect (very close to centre of town, easy enough to walk to from train and bus as well), the grounds were very pretty and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful, staff were very helpful and friendly, room was very big and was well equipped, bed was probably the best we had in Europe, pool and spa was great. And they had some very cute and friendly dogs 😂

29/05/2025: A must visit get in early to appreciate the views and atmosphere….many weddings are held here everyday sometimes…and it fills up really fast with tourists from China and Japan as a place of history
You will need to book a table for an evening meal…I had a brunch which was a slow enjoyable meal
29/05/2025: Friendly staff and food was pretty good but nothing special. What was special was the view and the atmosphere which was worth every penny. Incredible view with Vesuvius in all its glory right in front of you and a panoramic coastal view. Live music and happy people all around!

Outstanding service from everyone!
Excellent breakfast buffet with great service.
Only complaint is the hotel is located on the outskirts of town. A taxi ride to town runs about $20 to $25 euros one way depending on traffic.

13/05/2025: This place was very dishonest and took advantage of us. There were 2 types of steak in the menu, one for €23 and the other €26. My wife ordered the slightly pricier one and the waiter asked if I would therefore like a t-bone. They brought out a huge steak for me that was easily the worst meat I’ve ever eaten - raw, full of sinew and terribly tasting, they then charged me €53! I had to argue for some time to reduce the cost of my t-bone to €40. What an awful, awful experience. Italy rarely disappoints with food but this one is to be avoided at all costs in my opinion.
12/05/2025: Excellent pastry bar in the center of Sorrento. Delicious and fresh desserts, a guarantee! Highly recommended!

29/05/2025: Trattoria the Emilia está bien situado en la Marina Grande de Sorrento, con una hermosa vista de la Bahía de Nápoles desde sus mesas al aire libre. Para los amantes de los mariscos como nosotros el menú ofrece varias buenas opciones, y están bien preparados. El servicio es cordial y rápido. El vino local de la casa es sabroso y a un precio muy razonable. Para aquellos que se alojan en el centro de Sorrento como lo hicimos, la ubicación es ideal para aquellos que disfrutan de una passeggiata saludable después de la cena. En general, muy buena, cocina local básica y buen servicio, a un precio lo más justo y razonable.

16/05/2025: Torniamo sempre da anni in questo ristorante e devo dire che quest anno qualcosina è cambiato… partiamo dall accoglienza : il cameriere scontroso e antipatico che ti risponde scocciato e annoiato dicendoti che all esterno non c’è posto solo interno e ci sta nulla da dire ma il modo è l atteggiamento scontroso non ci sta … un plauso a Giuseppe che ci ha servito all interno .. gentile e cordiale

Good location, friendly multilingual staff.
We ordered a ravioli and then 2 secondi proteins, steak and vongole which was all amazing!!!! Quick service and great food.
Recommend!

19/05/2025: We enjoyed the meal, and our server (Larysa) was great. We were a little early so there was plenty of seating when we arrived; however, it started filling up as the evening went along. Among us we had two pizzas, two pasta dishes, and a fish entree. We were all satisfied with the preparation and quality.

25/05/2025: Food came out cold and found a bone in lasagne!!! Service was not great. Atmosphere is nice and that's why we came as we saw it on social media as it's cute. The food was not cute. Tried to charge us for a £100 wine when we didn't order it we ordered at £50 one. Managed to come to an agreement of the bill. Would not recommend for the food or service as they were so rude. DONT FOLLOW SOCIAL MEDIA TRENDS!!!

17/05/2025: Éramos un grupo de 7 amigos de París pasando un fin de semana en Sorrento, y nuestro almuerzo en Ruccio fue realmente un punto culminante del viaje. Eugenio nos cuidó con una atención excepcional, amable, eficiente y siempre sonriente. El servicio fue impecable de principio a fin.
Pedimos vino blanco y cervezas, seguido de tres platos “atrapa del día” preparados con pasta y patatas. El personal incluso preparó y fileteó el pescado justo en frente de nosotros, una verdadera muestra de cuidado y calidad. Como una sorpresa encantadora, nos ofrecieron deliciosa bruschetta para comenzar la comida, que marcó el tono para un almuerzo fantástico.
Todo estaba fresco, sabroso y perfectamente cocinado. Un verdadero placer, tanto en términos de la comida como del servicio cálido y profesional.
El lugar y la vista era un verdadero placer, además, con un buen lugar para comer.

04/06/2025: From the outside, the restaurant looks very nice. However, the pizza was terrible and had the quality of a frozen pizza. They added a 10% service charge at the end.
We will definitely never eat there again.
03/06/2025: We ordered 2 Pizzas and got the worst Pizzas we have eaten in all of Italy.
Its quality and taste were horrible. They looked like cheap Pizza from a supermarket which were made warm in an electric oven. We flew many hours to get to Sorrento and that is what we received. Typical Tourist Trap
