10/08/2026: On our last night in Sorrento we had dinner at this restaurant. Ambiance was good, staff friendly and very accommodating. My husband's meal was lovely, and he was very happy about it. I ordered pasta with seafood. I was very surprised after receiving my plate. It had hardly any mussels or clams (compared to my meal in Positano) and 2 long seafood pieces that I am not sure what they are. First bite, the pasta was not cooked, and the unidentified seafood was sandy, and some mussels and clams tasted sour. I should have looked at the reviews before coming to this restaurant. My trip to this part of Italy ended with literally a bad taste in my mouth.

08/08/2026: Frozen pizzas from Conad (with all due respect to Conad) The waiter put cheese directly on your plate (almost fearing we'd take it away) Gnocchi alla Sorrentina... preheated to mush. Highly not recommended... if you're hungry... hold onto your hunger!!! Exorbitant prices for prepackaged food

14/05/2026: We stopped in for an afternoon lunch and had an amazing experience! The staff was very accommodating and despite not being fluent in English, they made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The pastas were all delicious, we had Zucchini, tomato, mussels In the pasta and would recommend them all. We took a tour of the spa which looked clean and modern. Highly recommend.

11/07/2026: Disappointed! The waiters were showing their superiority, because my bill for dinner (I was with my daughter) was 122€. I didn't expect this, they ruined my mood! I regret choosing this hotel.

06/05/2026: The hotel is so beautiful and elegant. The lounge has lots of cocktails and wines. They have a live piano bar. The resturant views on the coast are gorgeous. The service is impeccable. The food was good but for the price I feel like my expectation was higher.

19/05/2026: Franco is the best service master. Engaging & fun. Made the perfect food recommendations. Owner also very attentive. Even with a large group of 35+ seated around the same time, our service never felt delayed or dismissed.

23/07/2026: We found this restaurant by chance, and it turned out to be one of our favorite places in Sorrento. The waitress was incredibly kind and welcoming. She took the time to recommend dishes, and every suggestion was absolutely delicious. The food was excellent, and the service made us feel truly welcome. Another pleasant surprise was the service charge, which was noticeably lower than at many other restaurants in Sorrento. It offered fantastic value for both the quality of the food and the overall experience. In the evening, there's live music, which creates a lovely atmosphere and makes dinner even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this restaurant—100% worth visiting!

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at the Orangerie at the Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento, and everything was simply impeccable. The atmosphere is refined and romantic, the service is attentive, discreet, and ever-present, while each dish reflects an authentic pursuit of quality and flavor. If I had to choose one dish that truly moved me, it would undoubtedly be the anchovies with crostini, butter, and 'nduja. A combination as bold as it is perfect: the delicate butter, the character of the 'nduja, and the freshness of the anchovies blend in extraordinary balance, creating an explosion of flavors I'll never forget. A dish that alone is worth the visit. Congratulations to the chef and the entire kitchen team, as well as to the entire dining room staff, for transforming a dinner into an authentic, exciting, haute cuisine experience. L’Orangerie is a place where excellence, elegance, and hospitality meet perfectly. I will gladly return.

23/05/2026: We went to dinner last night for a friend's birthday. The location is beautiful and very welcoming, but that's all I remember. The service left much to be desired; the waiters were exhausted, annoyed, and confused. They shouted and argued among themselves, knowing they wouldn't be understood since it's a place frequented by many tourists. We ordered an appetizer of fried, exclusive frozen items that they didn't even bother to defrost properly. Followed by three first courses: the classic gnocco alla sorrentina, oh my god, terrible!! The paccheri alla genovese and the lasagna were at least passable. Perhaps our mistake was choosing a place that was too touristy for dinner, but we realized that right away.

22/05/2026: I'm sure the food is good, but we couldn't get a reservation, and when we asked if we could enter while waiting in line, we were almost kicked out. The woman in charge inside was incredibly rude and very angry. It was a disgrace. Saying "you can't enter" would have been enough.

17/05/2026: Wonderful family meal to celebrate an incredible week in Sorrento. The staff were fantastic, the food was delicious & the atmosphere was just perfect. Highly recommend!

04/08/2026: Very good, it has air conditioning, it's not hot and it's quite comfortable, the food is amazing and the service is very fast and attentive, the restaurant is very clean, and the price is good, I paid €53, nothing extravagant for the food, what I recommend most is the Gnocchi with sauce and cheese, I highly recommend it.

02/08/2026: Bad service and mediocre food in two occasions makes this place a hard pass. They favor locals to tourists you can see it in the service. Wrong order, uncut pizza, place is poorly run.

14/06/2026: Octopus as an appetizer, pre-cooked and reheated upon serving. Risotto alla pescatora: the seafood left much to be desired, and the shrimp were frozen. The waiters were kind and welcoming; the person serving us dropped some mussel shells on the table as they cleared the table and decided to throw them on the floor. The bread served was not at all fresh. An unpleasant experience, the prices were high and definitely not up to par with the food we received.

13/08/2026: Very pleasant and beautiful place, great beach. Pricey, but I believe it's worth the cost and that's the standard; it has clean bathrooms and offers food. However, the menu is not very varied. We were being very well attended to by a tall waiter, but at some point a seagull knocked over our fries and a few more flew in. At that moment, the short waiter (the same one from the review of the lady being pushed) went to shoo away the seagulls and called us stupid, thinking we were feeding them. Very rude of him, it ruined the pleasant atmosphere we were having.

12/08/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience at Peter Beach. Unfortunately, rudeness seems to be the establishment's true calling card: from the moment you enter, you sense a lack of customer service and a less than welcoming attitude. Even the beach staff weren't particularly helpful or professional. We simply asked for a group photo from a short guy in a life vest, and instead of receiving a modicum of helpfulness, we were met with a rude and disrespectful response. Considering the entrance fee and the type of service expected from such a facility, I believe that politeness and customer service should be paramount. On a positive note, however, the restaurant, where we encountered kind, polite, and helpful women, clearly distinguishing themselves from the rest of the staff. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience, and I don't think we'll return. The price/service ratio, and especially the hospitality, definitely leaves much to be desired.
