15/08/2026: Inedible watery pizza. Was overcharged by about €10!!! (service charge apparently even tho the service charge was €2.50). Used calculator to keep adding up imaginary amounts when questioning it. Asked to come inside as others complaining about the bill also so obviously wanted to separate us as doing the same thing to each person. Still haven't eaten! Worst experience. Been to sorrento and all over Italy over 10 times and never had such bad runny pizza! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
14/08/2026: Great food! Really fresh seafood. Simple, delicious and reasonably priced.

05/08/2026: We read the reviews too late… it's not bad, but the portion sizes are outrageous for the price… €19 for two measly cannelloni… It's highway robbery…
The waiters aren't bad… It's just a tourist trap…
€69 for four people with one main course and we didn't eat anything…
Philippe Etchebest would have wept…

28/07/2026: We had the most perfect day organised by Tony and Melania , they organised everything perfectly. With a few nice bonus touches along the way, like picking us up from the hotel to show us the venues, being with us every minute of the wedding itself, and of course listening to Tony’s jokes 😂 and Melania’s infectious laugh 😀 all done to the agreed budget with no nasty surprises and to a very very high standard. We was only a small group (11 of us) but made us feel like we was the most important people on the island. There attention to detail was second to none. If you want the perfect wedding then please choose these guys 👍👍

03/07/2025: Sono stato in questo ristorante e ho provato gli agnolotti: semplicemente spettacolari. La pasta fresca, il ripieno saporito e il condimento perfettamente bilanciato hanno reso il piatto indimenticabile. Servizio cordiale e atmosfera accogliente. Tornerò sicuramente per provare altre specialità del menu.
02/07/2025: Un posto magico, una veduta spettacolare a due passi dal centro di Sorrento, una cena incredibile con prodotti di altissima qualità, ci torneremo sicuramente!

29/07/2025: Sono stata al Ristorante Sorrento e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole. I piatti erano super buoni, cucinati con cura e davvero saporiti. Il servizio è ottimo: il personale è stato gentile, disponibile e mi ha fatta sentire subito la benvenuta. L’ambiente è accogliente e curato nei dettagli. Anche il prezzo è giusto, considerando l’alta qualità del cibo e l’attenzione che viene data al cliente.
Ci tornerò sicuramente!

20/07/2025: Siamo stati al Ristorante Da Filippo in occasione di una cena. Posto leggermente affollato ma personale efficiente nei tempi di attesa. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto, due tagliate di carne e un dolce. Prezzi modici per la qualità del posto e del cibo, inoltre le porzioni erano adeguate ne abbondanti né insufficienti. Che dir si voglia, ma non che non abbia rispettato le nostre aspettative.
Citando un noto poeta: “fu tzoppu beddu stu manciari sangò”.

26/02/2025: We stumbled on this place after walking to the Villa di Pollio Felice. What a treasure to find. The bar staff were super friendly and the food and drinks we had were great. The music was pretty loud when we got there around 6pm and there was a youthful crowd, sunbathing. You can swim in the sea off the rocks from here and the sunset is worth any trek you might make to get here.

No locals and very misleading reviews. The pizza was mediocre- not neopolitan
Or Roman and very bland. Crust and sauce were sub par.

Was fine and the eggplant Parmesan was very greasy - possibly jarred eggplant smothered in cheese/oil. The limoncello spritz was also not drinkable. My review would have been more favorable had the service been slightly good- it was not. Do not fall for the good reviews here- try somewhere else in Sorrento.

Ristorante da Gaetano Vino Vero

15/08/2024: Inizialmente si chiamava Antico Frantoio, poi Vino vero, poi di nuovo Antico Frantoio, oggi sembri che continui a chiamarsi Antico Frantoio pur avendo cambiato gestione a fine 2023, dei sapori antichi purtroppo non c’è più nulla. Personale gentilissimo, qualità scarsa, prezzi nella media, ma eccessivi in relazione al prodotto offerto.
