I particularly appreciated the quality of the food (very fresh raw seafood, well-balanced appetizers, and creamy and delicate spaghetti with sea urchins) and the friendliness and expertise of the staff. The wine list isn't particularly long, but it offers good options. I'll definitely be back.

01/03/2026: Today we had lunch at Il Covo di Leo in Monteruscello. I know this restaurant very well and have been going there for years, but I've been missing this one for a while. After all this time, I found it even better than I remembered... and it was already delicious! Leo is an amazing chef: every dish reflects passion, experience, and a love of cooking. The products are top-quality, and you can taste the care he put into choosing the ingredients. Honorable mention goes to the pasta dishes, which are truly exceptional, and to the meat, which is incredibly tender and flavorful. But, truth be told, everything was delicious, from appetizer to dessert. Leo and his family, with their warmth and hospitality, made our Sunday truly special. It's one of those places where you don't just eat well, you feel at home. An absolute confirmation. We'll be back very soon.

The staff doesn't just do their job, they also manage to make every guest feel truly welcomed. The Villa Elvira team is simply excellent: knowledgeable, smiling, and able to anticipate guests' needs with ease. Rarely do you find such a harmonious and professional group. The lunch was tasty and beautifully presented, but what really made the difference was the way each course was served and explained. 19/01/2026: Food: The restaurant offers a wide variety of menus. We tried several tastings, including the famous Genovese, and I must say that everything was truly delicious. The portions were just right, generous, and very flavorful. We paired everything with a good sparkling Aglianico, which paired well with various dishes. Service: The waiters are very friendly and approachable, offering excellent recommendations and also offering house dishes that are must-try (like the Genovese or the off-menu porchetta). Price: We found the price to be fairly reasonable, except for one dish. There was definitely a miscommunication. Location: The restaurant is in a somewhat isolated location, and even in this case, there was an unpleasant exchange with the parking attendant outside (we gave him €1 and he replied, "For €1 I would have stayed home." ). Assuming we parked on the street... we were still doing a favor.

18/12/2025: Fresh food without frills. Grandma's, mom's cooking. A cool, clean place with an open kitchen and the smells of home, so you feel right at home! The counter and the facade shine, you can see yourself in the mirror. You often find yourself sitting next to some VIPs. Because if you eat at a restaurant rather than at home, you have to know how to choose from quality to seasoning, otherwise you'll end up with crosses in your liver and tests with asterisks.

08/02/2026: It deserves five stars for everything. Even though my pizza was on the burnt side... I must add that there were 20 of us and I wanted to try a few pieces of some of the others, and they were really good. So, out of many others, mine was just a coincidence that it was raw underneath... But on a Saturday, with hundreds of pizzas to make and lots of customers waiting for takeout, it's normal for a pizza to get messed up. This just goes to show that it's a very busy place. So I'll definitely be back. I'll add that the helpfulness of the owners and staff was truly unique. Congratulations!!

07/02/2026: If you're looking for perfection, you've come to the right place. The Pizza: Simply incredible. Extremely light, airy, and easily digestible dough, with above-average quality ingredients. You can taste the meticulous attention to detail behind every flavor. The Service: Rarely do you find such a coordinated team. The staff were smiling, knowledgeable, and incredibly fast, despite the restaurant being packed. We felt pampered from start to finish. In summary: Fantastic atmosphere and excellent value. This will definitely become our regular stop. Highly recommended!

05/02/2026: We ordered two pizzas to share, a gourmet one with black dough and a deep-fried Montanara. The welcome, quality of the food, and service were top-notch.

07/01/2026: We went to La Befana with the family for my mother's birthday (88 years old), a beautiful place near Lake Lucrino, despite the terrible rainy day (on a beautiful seafront and lakeside a more disastrous day than this could have been, lots and lots of rain) we ate really very well, a lot of starters all excellent, 2 good fish first courses and an excellent fried food all accompanied by an excellent white wine, excellent cake, excellent very attentive service.

29/12/2025: I returned after a year and will never return. Excellent quality cuisine but predatory and deceptive customer service. I ordered the house appetizer of about 9 samples (fair price €46 for two) which was accompanied by 6 raw pieces (2 oysters, 2 red prawns, 2 truffles). I accepted the dish convinced it was part of the house appetizer, but it found itself on the bill at €20, six measly pieces. I ordered a seafood scialatiello (€18) but found myself with linguine allo scoglio (€25). Too bad I realized it when I was already on the highway. Highly not recommended.
