28/04/2025: Auf dem Weg zu unserem Abendessen, wollten wir spontan etwas trinken. Die Kellner schienen wenig Interesse zu haben unseren Tisch abzuräumen und zu reinigen. Wir kamen nicht dazu etwas zu bestellen. Nach 20 min gingen wir. Sehr schade

20/04/2025: El servicio no era amable. La comida era muy promedio y los precios, aunque está bien son fácilmente igualados en otros lugares en lugares mucho mejores. Le daría una falta a esto.

28/05/2025: We had dinner here our first night on Capri. Just walking by, was taken in by the greeter taking my wife to view the fresh fish in a case by the kitchen, and she was sold. And of course, had that as her dinner. Staff, both plentiful and attentive, were really great. Quite helpful with translations, and tolerant of my poor Italian language skills, with humor. This was the most expensive dinner of our trip, but I don't regret it, as the experience was worth it. Drinks, appetizer, dinner and dessert came to 165 euros, and reviewing the bill after the fact, I noticed 'coperto' which is apparently a cover charge of sorts. There was a live musician, and we were given 'free' snack with our drinks, so that's the likely explanation. Drinks on the costlier side, compared to all of our other experiences. Campari Spritz at 16 euro, as an example. Delicious Caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella to start, a nice personal pizza and the special fish (50 euro, we didn't ask pricing at the time of the order) and a lemon sorbet to finish. Again, service was VERY attentive and competent; probably the best of the whole trip, and combined with atmosphere and all that went into what was a magical evening (it's Capri, after all) really added up to a great night.

24/05/2025: Este lugar es una trampa turística debido a la gran posición. Desafortunadamente no cumplió con nuestras expectativas. Obviamente, la comida se preparó con antelación y no del nivel que se esperaría de una experiencia de cantidad. No te recomendaríamos este restaurante. Investiga otras opciones.

18/05/2025: In all fairness, the food was very good (Ravioli alla caprese), but this 7 euro covert is not only absurd in essence but also customers are not made aware of it beforehand (it's a surprise "bill bomb"). Staff is kind though.

25/04/2025: Non posso fare una recensione sul cibo perché non ho potuto assaggiarlo. Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per cena, arrivati all'orario previsto, abbiamo trovato il locale strapieno, ci siamo rivolti ad un cameriere che in evidente imbarazzo ci ha indirizzati al gestore, il quale in modo molto sbrigativo ci ha chiesto di aspettare che ci avrebbe dato il tavolo appena se ne fosse liberato uno... ?? Ma che modi sono? Se pensi di non poter assicurare un tavolo non accetti prenotazioni. Se il cliente pensa di avere un tavolo riservato è evidente che non deve poi trovarsi fuori dal locale in piedi ad aspettare, altrimenti che senso ha prenotare? Nessun rispetto per il cliente Siamo andati a mangiare nel locale vicino, abbiamo mangiato bene e siamo stati serviti subito

29/04/2025: Durante la nostra visita turistica nella città di Napoli, abbiamo deciso di provare la pizza "Dal Presidente" ed è stata un'eccellente scelta perché abbiamo mangiato una pizza davvero ottima, ingredienti veraci e soprattutto digeribilissima e ve lo dice una persona che ha problemi di stomaco. Il locale è caratteristico ed accogliente e il servizio è stato veloce e professionale.

27/04/2025: Sapevo che la pizza era buona, perché ci sono stato nel giugno del 2023. Ci sono tornato e confermo che la qualità della pizza non si discute. Un altra cosa che ho apprezzato sono stati i fritti e la grande simpatia e disponibilità del cameriere Maurizio (abbiamo scherzato anche per il tifo calcistico tra la Roma e il Napoli) sicuramente se qualcuno va qui non trova i cosiddetti "acchiappaturisti" ma gente che sa cosa fa

01/06/2025: Terrible service. We came for lunch, and as soon as we finished, the waiter asked us to go inside to pay so they could seat someone else. Once we went inside to pay, the waiter threw our credit card at us, only to have it returned to us. The food was not up to par with their lack of friendliness and politeness; I do not recommend this place. Plus, the coffee was disgusting.

01/06/2025: Fish of the day was turbot, which was prepared amazingly. We tried the melon with prosciutto and the mussel soup - also amazing. Service was great. Will come again.

09/06/2025: The space is very comfortable, safe, and quiet. The prices are excessively high (approximately 59 euros for two people, sun loungers, and an umbrella), but I understand the prices are set at all beach clubs. I recommend it if you'll be there for a long time and enjoy the beach and swimming; otherwise, it's very expensive.

09/06/2025: Staff are extremely rude and can't be bothered with you acting like you're just a nuisance it's not cheap so save your money and got somewhere else

07/06/2025: Never order the Platter for 2 people!!!!! We discovered this restaurant by chance about ten days ago, we arrived around 10.30pm and ordered some meat. We were very satisfied and this evening we decided to return. I will start by saying that the meat is very good but I gave it 1 star because I felt like I was being taken for a ride. We ordered a platter of cold cuts and cheeses for 2 (it was written right on the menu that it is a minimum for 2 people) and we received this mini... very small platter with 2 slices of salami, another 2 of salami and a slice and a half of cheese... All accompanied by some bacon put in a bow to add volume. Obviously I politely asked if that was it and the waiter replied that something else was coming, ok I was heartened... "something else" actually arrived, that is, a bowl of olives. The owner approached and asked if everything was ok and very politely I explained that I was a little taken aback by this famous platter. The owner, always with great politeness, tells me that he had noticed and that in the kitchen they had made a mistake and that he had already adjusted the price. Ergo... 2 slices of salami and a half of cheese cost me 18 euros instead of 24... I say... But don't say anything at all. If you noticed the mess made in the kitchen (because it wasn't a mistake but a mess made on purpose) either you send me something else without saying anything or you act like a gentleman and you don't even charge for these 4 slices of salami... I'm a shopkeeper too and I would never have behaved in this way. Tonight you may have earned an extra 18 euros, but you have certainly lost 2 customers!

09/06/2025: Nos alojamos en el Hotel Excelsior que está cerca y pasamos por este restaurante una noche. Dijimos que lo intentaríamos y estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. La comida es tan buena que comimos aquí en 2 noches mientras nos alojamos en Nápoles durante una semana. Recomiendo encarecidamente tanto la costilla - filete de ojos y el solomillo (sí, somos comedores de carne! ). Todavía estamos tomando el equilibrio de sabores. ¡Las patatas fritas también son deliciosas y abundantes! El tipo que nos sirvió en ambas noches era tan encantador y atento. Recomendó un vino muy bueno que golpeó el lugar muy bien. No pases por este restaurante, asegúrate de entrar y no te arrepentirás. Esperamos volver de nuevo.

13/06/2025: One of the few "normal" and typical Italian restaurants on Capri and Anacapri, located in a side street next to the church. We were delighted when we discovered it and left with full stomachs and, for once, a not-so-full bill! Very friendly service and a quiet location.

03/06/2025: WARNING – Avoid “Il Saraceno Ristorante Pizzeria” at all costs. I went in for a glass of red wine and a vegetarian pasta dish. I was given a red wine with bubbles (?!), and when I said it tasted wrong I was told I “can drink it anyway”. No change. No responsibility. Just pure arrogance. The pasta? Full of pork. I am vegetarian. It was not on the menu. When I pointed it out the staff became incredibly rude and aggressive. 24 euros straight down the drain – and I had to leave hungry. This place has absolutely no respect for its guests. Bad food, bad service, zero responsibility. Do yourself a favor: Don’t go here. Ever.

13/04/2025: Eravamo in quattro e abbiamo mangiato le pizze, sui prodotti nulla da dire ma per il resto c’è poco da salvare. Accoglienza e servizio da bettola da due soldi, camerieri maleducati e cafoni; nonostante avessimo prenotato al mattino ci hanno fatto accomodare vicino al cesso! Da evitare almeno che non siete fatti della stessa pasta di chi vi accoglie!

29/03/2025: Recomendado por nuestro gerente de hotel en Il San Cristoforo, este es un lugar muy agradable para comer, lleno de lugareños, es luminoso, animado y con un personal amable y atento. La comida, ya sea de la amplia gama de pizzas o pasta fresca / mariscos, es sabrosa y buena relación calidad-precio, el vino por copa limitado a un tipo de blanco, tinto y rosa solo, aunque no es una ruptura del trato! Dolce excelente y parecía hecho en casa. En general, una recomendación satisfactoria y bien vale la pena buscar - ¡vaya ahora!

11/05/2025: Sono tornata in questa trattoria dopo alcuni anni, fidandomi del bellissimo ricordo che avevo dal 2019. Purtroppo, l’esperienza recente è stata tutt’altra cosa. Appena seduti, ci viene comunicato che non ci sono le cozze — peccato che non fosse specificato da nessuna parte. Eravamo tornati proprio con il desiderio di riassaporarle, ricordando quanto fossero buone. Ordiniamo altro e, al momento del servizio, accade l’imprevisto: il cameriere sbilancia il piatto con il polpo e una colata d’olio finisce sui jeans del mio fidanzato. Si scusa, corre a prendere uno spray smacchiatore, ma purtroppo la macchia resta. Serata rovinata con un pantalone macchiato addosso, di sabato sera. Sono cose che possono capitare, certo. Ma quello che non trovo accettabile è ritrovarmi un conto da 51,98€ con il 13% di servizio incluso. Diciamolo francamente: chiedere il servizio pieno quando hai creato un disagio evidente al cliente è poco elegante. Bastava un gesto semplice, come arrotondare il conto a 50€: un piccolo segnale di attenzione che avrebbe fatto la differenza. Infine, il "polpo al sugo piccante" non era né piccante né in sugo: solo un polpo galleggiante in un brodo d'olio. Non ho fatto la foto, ma credetemi: l’aspetto era già tutto un programma. Con grande dispiacere, cancello questa trattoria dalle mie tappe fisse a Napoli.

19/06/2025: We were seated by a lovely waitress however, after reviewing the menu we found it to be overpriced and to be honest no dishes that really stood out to us. I went over to explain to the waiter we were going to just leave it. Before I even for the chance to make my apologies for us changing our minds he went crazy, hissing at me, shooing me out the restaurant like I was some kind of vermin, highly embarrassing and unprofessional. So pleased we didn't spend our evening/money here now, do not recommend.

18/06/2025: I came in here hoping to have a nice dinner with my mother and sisters, but it was quite the opposite. First we waited a long time for them to come and take our order and when we told the waiter our order which was 2 gnocchi’s, A side of french fries, and our drinks, he then proceeded to assume and say with such unnecessary attitude that we were going to share. I told him that wasn’t the intention because the girls were simply not that hungry even though one of them ordered the fries and the other one just ordered a drink. I then talked to another girl and she said that we can’t share. Once again I told her we aren’t sharing, but I guess the only capacity they have in that restaurant is to listen to respond, not listen to understand.
