31/10/2024: We sat down to eat at one of the tables on the street, which in addition to being small, can't fit more than 2 plates, they are very close to each other, it seems like you are eating with those next door. We ordered a pizza and some gnocchi. The seconds were good, but the pizza dough was raw. The worst pizza I have eaten so far in Italy. To not repeat.

29/10/2024: Awesome wine list menu. We did not eat, but we enjoyed the wines variety from the menu.

27/09/2024: Food and views were ok, but the service and fees for everything are not worth it. We had already rented chairs on the beach then had “cover charge” to go into the restaurant to eat lunch. The entire visit felt like they were trying to find ways to take advantage of tourists. Also a LOT of stairs to get down and then back up. Not worth the visit.

06/04/2025: Proprietario apparentemente gentile, ma vuole che tu faccia quello che dice lui...il menù fisso. Scontrino neanche proposto, ha detto a voce il totale. Neanche a dirlo che per la posizione che ha, avrà sempre clienti, ma la mia faccia non la vedrà mai più. Qualità medio bassa.

04/04/2025: Siamo stati con chi n un gruppetto di americani agli scavi e poi ci siamo fermati a pranzo dal signor Giovanni. Siamo stati accolti molto bene e ci ha proposto un pranzo ottimo. Con antipasto di mozzarella campana e pomodoro come primo uno spaghetto con pomodorini locali. Una squisitezza

29/10/2024: Siamo capitate qua in 5 perché era tardi, quasi le 23, e dovevamo cenare ovunque ancora fossero aperti. Antipasto buonissimo, abbiamo preso un’ottima mozzarella di bufala e dei fritti super sfiziosi, oltre che degli aperol spritz. La cavolata è stata non ordinare carboidrati ma un secondo. Io ho preso un filetto al pepe verde nulla di che, immerso nella panna, ma comunque non male. A 2 amiche, lo stesso tipo di carne, ma condito diversamente, è arrivato avariato, già dall’odore era immangiabile. Una volta segnalato, e invitato lo staff a testarla con un boccone personalmente, ci hanno portato al tavolo i pacchi di carne che sostenevano avessero ricevuto freschi la mattina stessa, teoricamente sottovuoto, in pratica no, la carne era visibilmente nera e con sangue infiltrato in tutta la busta, non sottovuoto e senza etichetta che attestava la data di confezionamento, quindi conservata male dai fornitori forse, se non da loro che sembravano comunque dispiaciuti. Ci hanno offerto un limoncello e fatto un minimo sconto… ma vabbè, diciamo che siamo state sfortunate perché sicuramente la pizza magari sarebbe stata buona. Toilette presente di fronte al ristorante, non pulita e senza carta. Non ci ritornerei, ma dò 3 perché il mio singolo pasto non è stato terribile come per le mie amiche.

28/08/2024: Camerieri che ti trattano benissimo. Cibo ottimo. Insomma é uno dei posti più buoni per me di Napoli. Il prezzo ci sta per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Consigliatissimo😍

30/03/2025: A mio giudizio 14 euro per 2 caffè e 1 dolce sono esagerati, soprattutto se degustati al porto di Sorrento e non su una terrazza panoramica della costiera.

25/03/2025: I went to this place and ordered two spritz, a gin and tonic and two crodini, paying €40, and as appetizers they offered us a tiny bowl of crisps and a couple of tarallini (dry ones, by the way). We complained to the owner to ask if the aperitif was finished there and he replied very rudely that if we wanted something else, we had to pay separately, then the lemon in the glass dirty with dirt. The waiter with unkempt nails who honestly made me lose the desire to even nibble on the few things that were there. Not recommended! Luckily I was just passing through!

27/03/2025: Fixed stop in Capri! Mandatory to go if you are on the island. Stunning location (I attach photos)... describing such wonder is difficult... you are literally in the middle of the sea. The quality of the food is very high, I eat everything with pleasure. I recommend reaching the restaurant by boat because the road on foot is long and a little steep, but out of season (without too much heat) it is doable. I highly recommend it for a romantic lunch as a couple, for a group of friends or for a family. I am very satisfied, I will be back soon! Advise!

11/03/2025: Putting price aside for a moment, Da Luigi offered us a great beach club day. The walk down from Capri was beautiful, the chairs were all in good condition and service was pretty good. The outlook was stunning. The water beautiful. The only downside is the price. Being our honeymoon we opted for the €440 package which included 2 sun lounges, 2 towels, umbrella, a small bottle of Prosecco and €120 credit towards the restaurant where we spend another €48 euro. Our water taxi back to Marina Grande adding another €70. Did we need the expensive package? Probably not. From memory it would have been half the price we paid. We did have a good position but then I couldn’t really tell what would be a bad position. So an expensive day that anywhere else would cost a fraction of what we spent. If you are coming to Capri get ready for everything being expensive.

11/11/2024: Ci siamo seduti al tavolo alle 21.20 e la cena è arrivata alle 23:00. Capisco perfettamente il sabato sera, ma se non si è in grado di gestire un locale così ampio, forse sarebbe meglio ridurre i posti a sedere per fare si che le persone possano essere soddisfatti del locale. Al momento dell'ordinazione ci hanno comunicato che i tempi di attesa della pizza sarebbero stati lunghi, inducendoci così a prendere un antipasto costituito da patatine fritte e frittatine (arrivate subito in quanto surgelate e fritte al volo). Trascorsa 1 ora dalla comanda, ci è stato detto che avremmo dovuto ancora aspettare, la ciliegina sulla torta si è verificata quando arrivata la pizza, l'abbiamo trovata condita con un capello. Non credo proprio ritorneremo, seppur la pizza non sia male.

26/10/2024: We liked the hotel itself, the central location right by the sea and the room with a sea view. It was clean and functional in terms of furnishings. (A fridge and glasses in the room wouldn't have been bad.) We were the only guests most of the time. This seemed to be a reason for the owners not to put too much effort into it for us. Breakfast consisted of a few packaged items, hard and dry bread and pastries, 1 croissant - there was no cheese, cold cuts, eggs, fruit or juice. From the third day onwards we received at least a few slices of cheese and melon when we asked, but we had to ask for it every day. The kitchen only opens at lunchtime, so there are e.g. B. no eggs. We had to look for the staff for a second cup of coffee/tea. No one ever came by to ask if everything was okay, even though there were enough staff there. When there were a few other guests in the house at the weekend, the breakfast buffet suddenly became a little more extensive. It just wasn't worth it for the two of us. During the eight evenings we practically always had the same food: pasta with sauce, iceberg lettuce with tomatoes and, for the main course, either fried sardines or a very thin pork schnitzel. We only received vegetables upon request. The z. The sometimes harsh treatment by the staff did not help us feel welcome or comfortable in the hotel. It's a shame, given the high overall price we would have expected a lot more. We won't be coming back. This is the hotel's location in Sé, the central location of the sea and the camera with a view of the sea. (Un frigorifero e dei bicchieri in camera non sarebbero stati male). Siamo states gli unici ospiti per la maggior parte del tempo. Sembrava che this is a motivo for i proprietari di non darsi troppo da fare per noi. The colazione consisteva in pochi products preconfezionati, pane duro e secco e dolci - non c'erano formaggi, salumi, uova, frutta or succhi di frutta. The third year in poi abbiamo ricevuto almeno qualche fata di formaggio e melone when the abbiamo chiesto, ma abbiamo dovuto chiederlo ogni giorno. La cucina apriva solo all'ora di pranzo, quindi non c'erano uova, ad esempio. Abbiamo dovuto cercare il personale per avere una seconda tazza di caffè/tè. Nessuno è mai venuto a chiedere se era tutto a posto, also the personale era numeroso. When a fine setting is made in the hotel, the buffet of the colazione is diventato improvisamente and po' più abbondante. Per noi due non ne valeva la pena. The otto is practically made with the stessa cosa per cena: Pasta al sugo, lattuga iceberg with pomodori e, come piatto maine, or sardine fritte or a sottillissima cotoletta di maiale. Abbiamo ricevuto verdure solo su richiesta. The trattamento a volte piuttosto brusco da parte del personale non ha contribuito a farci sentire benvenuti o a nostro agio nell'hotel. This is a peccato, you can see the top of the total and the two pieces are small. Non torneremo.

27/03/2025: Down to earth Italian food in garden setting. Nothing fancy just good home style cooking. We arrived before they opened for dinner and they were so kind to offer us any choice of pasta before the pizza oven was ready. House wine and insalate mista made a perfect meal. And so inexpensive for Sorrento!

05/01/2025: Unfortunately it is not possible to give a rating more negative than one star, but the quality of the service offered is offensive to catering in general. Two sandwiches that should have had salami, provola, tomato and salad inside, actually arrived practically empty. About 20 centimeters long, they were stuffed with 4 very thin slices of salami, 2 very thin (almost invisible) slices of provola, 2 pieces (not even leaves) of lettuce and a wedge of tomato. Presented on a plate with a tuft of salad alongside and two Coca Cola drinks... I paid a total of 38 euros. I am well aware of being in Capri: here it is not a question of price, but a question of honesty towards the customer. After paying, I said the exact same things to the people at the checkout, who listened to me without saying a word. Ah, we even waited half an hour!! Reportable stuff!

04/04/2025: We went with a small group of Americans to the excavations and then stopped for lunch with Mr. Giovanni. We were welcomed very well and he offered us an excellent lunch. With an appetizer of Campania mozzarella and tomato as a first course, spaghetti with local cherry tomatoes. A delicacy.
