If you decide to visit the Marche in the area between Pesaro and Urbino there is Gradara, a very characteristic medieval village, its fortress, the rooms where Paolo Malatesta and Francesca da Rimini met, the castle with all its story, the path of love, the walk of the patrol, is the whole story that surrounds it from Dante's canto V "Inferno"... Visited during the Christmas holidays it is all illuminated and characterized by songs and poetry...fascinating place of history and narratives...

17/12/2024: Everything was perfect but the wait was unacceptable, more than 1 hour to be served for 4, it doesn't exist, 3 hours for a lunch and 3 coffees we had to "threaten" to leave if they didn't arrive by a certain time.

16/12/2024: Excellent Osteria, excellent raw materials well executed with quantities suitable for good eaters, fast and professional service, excellent quality/price ratio. The pappardella with wild boar ragù and the deer fillet are excellent, a very varied food offering, definitely worth a stop, book in advance as it is in high demand

08/01/2025: Very pleasant discovery... on the occasion of an unplanned trip... we met this fantastic pizzeria at the entrance to the village of Gradara, a very welcoming place, very kind staff and the amazing pizza 👍👍 even my child who has difficult tastes , he really liked it... I highly recommend a visit and tasting of the excellent pizzas on the menu, very varied and imaginative.

05/11/2024: Gita a Gradara,fantastico borgo medievale,per caso percorrendo il centro storico vedo questo locale e a primo impatto mi è piaciuta la location,a due passi dall'ingresso del castello e allora ho prenotato. Ci siamo veramente trovati bene,ottime le portate e abbondanti,gentilissimo il personale di sala. Rapporto qualità prezzo più che soddisfacente,considerando il posto dove si trova il locale. Consigliatissimo!!!!!

04/11/2024: Trip to Gradara, a fantastic medieval village, by chance walking through the historic center I saw this place and at first glance I liked the location, a stone's throw from the castle entrance and so I booked. We really had a good time, the dishes were excellent and plentiful, the wait staff was very kind. More than satisfactory value for money, considering the place where the restaurant is located. Highly recommended!!!!!

03/01/2025: Excellent pizza restaurant, very good classic pizza but the best is the stretched pizza which is made with three different toppings. Very nice and modern place, friendly and courteous staff

17/11/2024: Very kind staff! Excellent food! Limited choice but for the benefit of quality. Excellent price/quality ratio. The Passatelli with cheese fondue and black truffle were sublime. But the rest was also very tasty. All just a stone's throw from the castle of the village of Gradara... WONDERFUL!

30/12/2024: Show!!! I recommend everyone to try this restaurant.. Encouraged by the reviews, I decided to try... Truly spectacular... I tried the polenta as a starter, practically phenomenal... As well as the strozzapreti with sausage, mushrooms and truffle.... My wife chicken with orange... And for dessert the mascarpone with Nutella... Sublime!! Very accessible prices!!! Absolutely worth trying!!!

28/12/2024: I ate one of the tastiest pastas I've ever eaten... Chestnut strozzapreti, delicious! In this restaurant you can eat excellent first courses and portions of meat and cheese. The environment is solemn and historic, suitable for ceremonies. I gave 4 stars for the service, the waiter who served us was not very helpful or courteous.

31/12/2024: Con una comitiva ci siamo recati a pranzo di fine anno. Stati divinamente in un'ottima location. Antipasti locali, strozzapreti conditi pomodorini e salsiccia, coscia di maiale al forno con patate e per finire torta di mele. Tutto super buono.

07/10/2024: Avevo aspettative molto alte visto che si dice che questo chiosco sia un po’ un’istituzione in zona, ma la piadina non mi è piaciuta particolarmente. Ingredienti da supermercato, piadina troppo spessa e ben 2€ in più per l’impasto integrale… servizio anche molto lento.

13/01/2025: We stopped for a quick lunch on Epiphany day. We found a place without having to book. The place is small and welcoming. The cuisine is simple but appreciable. We spent 41 euros for 2 people taking 2 first courses, a piadina, a side dish, water and a coffee. Pleasant lunch, I recommend it.

03/01/2025: We blindly booked for New Year's Eve. They didn't have a big dinner, and that's what we wanted. Excellent food, welcoming place, atmosphere suitable for a medieval village, very kind staff. And the bill was a pleasant surprise. We'll be back
