If you decide to visit the Marche in the area between Pesaro and Urbino there is Gradara, a very characteristic medieval village, its fortress, the rooms where Paolo Malatesta and Francesca da Rimini met, the castle with all its story, the path of love, the walk of the patrol, is the whole story that surrounds it from Dante's canto V "Inferno"... Visited during the Christmas holidays it is all illuminated and characterized by songs and poetry...fascinating place of history and narratives...

23/02/2025: Excellent experience, a tour around Gradara and we stopped for lunch in this place. Welcoming, beautiful location and excellent dishes, above all those we tasted, the passatelli with truffle. The meat dishes that we saw passing through other tables must also be excellent, maybe next time.

23/02/2025: In the heart of the walls of Gradara, immersed in an atmosphere of timeless charm, Il Bacio stands out for a historic location enhanced with taste. We opened the meal with a tartare tasting, a promising start thanks to the quality of the meat. The journey continued in crescendo with first courses: passatelli with fondue and truffle proved tasty, while cappellacci with caramelized onion and sausage, sautéed with butter and sage, conquered with balance and intensity of flavour. For second, the Tomahawk: top quality meat, served rare as requested and accompanied by a soapstone to personalize its cooking at the table. The wine list is well structured, with a selection that pays homage to the Marche region. The service, managed by a young and attentive staff, helps to make the experience even more pleasant. A restaurant worth mentioning and happy to return to.

07/10/2024: Avevo aspettative molto alte visto che si dice che questo chiosco sia un po’ un’istituzione in zona, ma la piadina non mi è piaciuta particolarmente. Ingredienti da supermercato, piadina troppo spessa e ben 2€ in più per l’impasto integrale… servizio anche molto lento.

13/01/2025: We stopped for a quick lunch on Epiphany day. We found a place without having to book. The place is small and welcoming. The cuisine is simple but appreciable. We spent 41 euros for 2 people taking 2 first courses, a piadina, a side dish, water and a coffee. Pleasant lunch, I recommend it.

03/01/2025: We blindly booked for New Year's Eve. They didn't have a big dinner, and that's what we wanted. Excellent food, welcoming place, atmosphere suitable for a medieval village, very kind staff. And the bill was a pleasant surprise. We'll be back

22/03/2025: Absolutely recommended for fans of Paolo and Francesca from the 5th canto of Dante's Inferno. Everything is themed, from the napkin to the menu, to the writings! The atmosphere is definitely pleasant, they welcomed us with an aperitif offered by the house, unexpected and absolutely appreciated. The place was full because we went on Thursday evening (weekly medieval historical reenactment event) and overall the service was adequate in terms of waiting times. The waiter was really kind, helpful and prepared (10 and praise). The food is good, the portions are right, not particularly abundant. the price is good (10/12€ for first courses) and the cover charge is 1.50€. The place is on the main street.

15/02/2025: This little place was a wonderful discovery. Intimate atmosphere, like at home. The service is truly kind, attentive and friendly, the cuisine feels like it belongs to those who put a lot of love and commitment into it with seriousness. The ingredients are of excellent quality and the combinations of the dishes fully enhance it without being too complex. The attention to aromatic herbs, aromas and the balance of dishes is very high. We have discovered a rarity that has an edge. ♥️

01/01/2025: Certamente trovare un ristorante aperto a pranzo il 1 gennaio è raro, soprattutto senza prenotare. Ordiniamo due cappelletti ( rivelatisi buonissimi) ma uno dei secondi richiesti era terminato (bisogna dirlo prima). Cambiamo ordinazione ma alla fine si dimenticano di portare l’altro secondo (che evitiamo di prendere). Concordo con chi ha scritto che i prezzi non sono da osteria

30/10/2024: In visita a Gradara, grazie ad un consiglio di un negoziante, ma già avevamo letto recensioni a riguardo, abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per pranzare. Bel locale, proprio di fianco alla rocca, ma subito fuori dalla mura di Gradara. Buon pesce, frittura croccante ed asciutta, ottimi gratinati... Personale cortese e puntuale, tutto molto bene.

23/10/2024: Tutto perfetto! Locale con vista sul castello wow! Piatti ottimi, abbiam mangiato pesce, dall’antipasto, al primo, al dolce, tutto eccellente!

20/02/2025: The place is very nice: the restaurant is large, welcoming and clean with tables also outside on tiled floors; these tables are covered by a banded awning which therefore lets in some sun which shines directly on the tables and diners. Adjacent to the restaurant there is a large lawn with a gazebo with tables and chairs, a table football table and machines that dispense balls containing children's toys. A little further on there is a large bar and a little further on a five-a-side football pitch. In front of the bar there is a large swimming pool whose water depth is the same everywhere, whose water is clean. After 3 meters of tiled edge all around there is the lawn with umbrellas, sunbeds and deckchairs. Showers are available to take before diving into the pool and 5 large bathrooms located adjacent to the pool. Both the restaurant and the swimming pool are very well organised. We went there again this year for mid-August. The day was very pleasant thanks to the program proposed by the managers including aperitif, lunch and watermelon with sangria in the afternoon.

19/03/2025: We stopped one evening for dinner and ate well, particularly good were the Mastin Vecchio appetizer and the pasta carbonara with truffle. Unfortunately among the pieces of fried dumpling we found a squid tentacle; we would have expected a small discount, it would have been enough not to include a glass of wine to apologize for what happened. It's a shame this lack of style and professionalism!

16/03/2025: Very beautiful and elegant environment, with an excellent view of the castle walls. Very good food, shame about the waiting times and the music which perhaps doesn't suit the place. Overall good restaurant
