The castle and fortress offer a beautiful view: I was shocked to see a cleaning lady with a broom and dustpan wandering around during the tour. I don't understand why this service is provided during visiting hours...

I've driven past it on the highway many times... I wanted to treat myself. The place is beautiful... the castle too... but in my opinion it's too touristy... but I expect too much... it's worth seeing.

La Cascina delle Rose

21/07/2026: I really enjoyed my time at Cascina delle Rose! Everything was delicious, and you could taste the care and quality in every dish. The staff was precise, kind, and always attentive. I also really appreciated the gluten-free menu, a touch that's not always a given, but which I found truly important. A place I'd love to return to and absolutely recommend!

05/08/2026: After a motorcycle ride, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant, which enchants you from the moment you arrive...a spectacular view from the terrace overlooking the lake and the village of Sassocorvaro. We had fish, and it turned out to be a perfect choice, both for the excellent quality of the food and the variety of the menu. The price was in line with our expectations, and the staff was truly pleasant and never intrusive. Highly recommended.
02/08/2026: We went for lunch today!!!! Very nice place and excellent food, friendly and always helpful staff!!! We'll be back very soon 🔝
