23/11/2024: A family run restaurant that takes much pride in their food and service. Located in the medieval town portion of Sarnano, which is a treat to visit in itself. The interior brick design is stunning. Good wine, pasta and truffles are exactly why you would go here. LOVE. Highly recommend.

25/11/2024: We had lunch on Sunday, there were ten of us, I didn't remember it like that, the table was set without a tablecloth but with small oval placemats to place the unhygienic cutlery, a bread basket without an internal napkin as the first few pappardelle were too dry, cappellacci, you could only smell a lot of sheep's ricotta strong decent meat

28/08/2024: In this farmhouse you eat very well, I recommend the house starter where in addition to cold cuts, cheeses and various types of bruschetta, a ricotta cheese never tried elsewhere is served, even the first courses are made by them, the view is breathtaking.

22/11/2024: Eccellente ristorante tipico a Sarnano, in provincia di Macerata. Bellissima la location su una baita ai piedi della montagna lungo la strada che conduce a Sassotetto. Rate onestissimo per pietanze deliziose e cucinate secondo la tradizione, con grande attenzione per la qualità degli ingredienti. Ogni pietanza viene dettagliatamente illustrata dal simpaticissimo titolare. Consigliatissimo!
11/11/2024: La gentilezza e la bontà dei piatti non ha eguali. Quando andiamo a Sarnano è il nostro ristorante preferito. Nelle foto si possono vedere i piatti che abbiamo mangiato, tutti con ingredienti di stagione. Personale gentilissimo.

02/09/2024: Marino è un monumento sarnanese, una storia di continuità imprenditoriale ammirevole date le non poche crisi subite dal turismo sarnanese, la pizzeria storica del paese e un riferimento amato da chi vuole 'mangiare fuori' a buon mercato. Non avevamo fame e ce la siamo cavata con 16 euro a testa, dividendo due frittini di olive e cremini standard, un'insalata mista e una piadina (fragrante, non molto farcita), birra grande, acqua, caffè corretto e amaro. Bonus per la cortesia nel trovare un posto nonostante il locale affollato e nell'accettare la disdetta di un piatto senza lamentele; servizio abbastanza celere nonostante una certa scarsità di personale
31/08/2024: Favorite Pizza in town! Apart from the extra ordinary long opening hours. Da Marino serves the best pizza’s of Sarnano for a really fair price. On the menu there are also pasta’s and burgers. For drinks we lives the fresh made Mojito which isn’t on the menu but can be requested at the bar.

L'Oasi del Gelato

22/08/2024: After the route to the waterfalls we wanted to cool off with a nice ice cream.
Apart from the fact that the business is not equipped with a toilet, I would like to draw attention to the products: we asked for yoghurt but were told that it wasn't there, the machine wasn't ready... the business opens at 2.00pm and now it's after 4pm, so we asked for two small cones and a milkshake. The "cream and Nutella" flavor was requested and the sales assistant put the "bounty" flavor (I point out that we did not pay attention to whether the requested flavor was actually among those proposed but we could have been warned of its absence), the milkshake was totally made of milk with a few traces of hazelnut.
Ah, all without a receipt.
RESPONSE TO THE OWNER:
Cream and Nutella was asked for (which I doubt I definitely read), however bounty was put and it wasn't told beforehand.
The reviews I have given to other ice cream shops, sometimes even trusted ones, are for other reasons, if you read I also write that the flavors are good and that I respect the business.
Perhaps your ice cream shop has positive reviews because you provide sustenance in a town of few souls, but trust me that the flavors and especially the milkshake are not that good, the latter left something to be desired compared to that of many other businesses. Please listen to us since under the other negative reviews that are given to you I only read responses without the ability to accept criticism, badly.
22/08/2024: Not a very positive experience.
Let's start with the ice cream, personally I found it to be average compared to other ice cream shops, it's not excellent but it's not terrible either. The cost is also average, elsewhere you can find higher prices with the quality of the ice cream even less good.
The environment remains a bit cramped, both inside and outside, but the location is nice because it is located just outside the town walls.
Sore point for the service, now I don't know if the "boy" who served us was the owner or an employee, but the total lack of empathy seemed to me to be a very discordant note.
