28/03/2026: I had lunch at this trattoria by chance during a short vacation. The location doesn't inspire confidence, but the service and dishes are satisfactory. The staff is friendly and helpful, very helpful. The dishes are simple but good, and the prices are reasonable. Unpretentious, but happy to have chosen it.

07/04/2026: I've been to Il Chiosco di Maria, and I have to say it's one of those places that truly lets you experience the seaside atmosphere. The location is practically on the seafront, with a casual yet refined atmosphere that immediately puts you in the holiday mood. The highlight is definitely the food: incredibly fresh fish and simple yet exquisitely prepared dishes. The fried fish, in particular, was one of the things that struck me most: light, dry, and not at all greasy, a sign of great attention to quality and preparation. The appetizers are also very good and plentiful, perfect for sharing. I found the service precise and relaxed, unhurried yet attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable, especially in a setting so close to the sea. Overall, it's a place I would absolutely recommend, ideal for a summer dinner or a lunch with a sea view, when you want to eat well without too much formality but with quality.

01/04/2026: It's a simple kiosk on the seafront, just north of the old Ballarin Stadium in San Benedetto. Now, if you're convinced that to be trendy you have to choose trendy locations where you can walk around like a zombie with a glass of Spritz in hand, well, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for one of the best affordable seafood restaurants, this is the place for lunch in San Benedetto. Try the maccheroncini with white fish sauce and appreciate the finesse of the preparation. Try a couple of appetizers and maybe a fried dish or the grilled meat. All quality ingredients, cooked the old-fashioned way, which is hard to find these days. Very simple service. Unbeatable value for money. Highly recommended.

12/04/2026: Very well-kept restaurant. The owner was very kind and prepared a room for us since there were 18 of us and it was packed. The cold cuts were delicious, the fried food was excellent, especially the vegetables, and the cheeses and focaccia were very good. We didn't have dessert since the portions were generous, but they have a pastry section that looked delicious!

20/12/2025: A great family-run restaurant with excellent value, serving consistently fresh fish cooked to perfection to bring out its full flavor. Among other dishes, the seafood risotto, spaghetti with clams, and fried fish are unmissable! Also highly recommended are the homemade tiramisu semifreddo, a true delicacy, and the legendary sailor's coffee! You always leave with a smile because, in addition to the delicious food, you always have a laugh with the friendly and exceptional staff, whose kindness and hospitality are second to none. The restaurant's nautical-themed decorations are beautiful, and now, during the Christmas season, you can admire the tree adorned with shells.

There are places where you go for food or a drink, and then there are places like this, where you return for the experience, the people, the atmosphere. This pub (which is much more than just a pub) is one of those rare places where you feel welcomed like an old friend, even if it's your first time. Every dish, served with surprising speed, spoke of the care and passion the staff puts into every detail. The flavors were authentic, bold but never banal, and accompanied by an excellent selection of drinks that demonstrates careful and thoughtful research. But what really makes this place special is the genuine kindness of those who work there. It's hard to find such a sincere welcome these days, made not just of smiles, but of small gestures that make you feel important, recognized, at home. A heartfelt thank you goes to all the staff, not only for the wonderful evening, but also for the gift they gave us: an unexpected and precious thought that we will carry with us. 05/04/2026: During Easter lunch, the restaurant was full and offered a choice of meat and fish. However, it took over three and a half hours to complete a meal consisting of two appetizers, two first courses, and a second course. The food quality was average, with no particular strengths or weaknesses. In practice, it was a long wait for every person present. Some customers requested takeout because, after a certain point, they could no longer remain seated. The disorganization was significant, and the overall experience was a major disappointment.
