Located in the main square of Sassoferrato, between the shadow of the Templar churches and the profile of the Rocca Albornoz, the tavern is a haven of beauty just a few kilometers from Genga and the Frasassi Caves, but Chef Luca Sbicca's cuisine is worth a pilgrimage in its own right. Here's what remains after the experience: The Hospitality: a very kind staff who knows how to move with grace, making guests feel part of an ancient history. The Chef's Hand: Luca Sbicca is a thoroughbred personality. His cuisine is expressive, balanced, evocative, capable of transforming matter into memory. The Taste: after the grilled splendor of May Day, the lightness and balance were a panacea. - Eggplant parmigiana flan: with buffalo mozzarella on a basil coulis, a rare harmony. - Grandma's meatballs: with veal in tomato and basil, a return to the essentials, authentic and profound. - Tiramisu with Sardinian coffee-flavored ladyfinger, a memorable finale. - The surprise: finding the house wine to be the Verdicchio "Stè" – by Stefano Antonucci – is a sign of a care for the guest that doesn't seek shortcuts, but offers only true quality. The bill was fair, a pact of loyalty between those who offer their best and those who know how to recognize it. A must-visit as soon as the nostalgia for this wonderful land returns. A necessary destination between a sweet languor and the taste of excellence.

30/04/2026: Elegant and excellent restaurant with welcoming and kind owners! The menu is rich in local products and dishes. We ordered two appetizers and two meat-based main courses. Excellent value. Highly recommended!

30/09/2025: A true agriturismo where Massimo and Hans have created an environment that strikes the perfect balance between care and attention to detail and a simple, sincere welcome. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, are impeccably clean, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant. Massimo is a top-notch chef, full of imagination and good taste. The only drawback is the road to get there: unpaved and very steep in places, but nothing too difficult, even with a "normal" car.

30/09/2025: Everything was amazing, from a the moment we arrived till we left. The rooms were cozy although bathrooms were a bit small they were really nice and clean. The breakfast was just amazing, the croissants were perfect and just amazing. You could really tell that the owners do what they love, from Massimo’s cooking to Han’s cows (highly recommend you go see his cows) Massimo’s cooking was just fantastic I really cannot find anything wrong with it. The place is also really nice the seating area is nice and of course the view! Overall perfect experience 10/10 highly recommend

Every gesture speaks of thoughtfulness and care for guests, from the small but precious touches—like the complete courtesy set, the coffee maker, and the kettle always available—to the delightful welcome gifts, designed for both adults and children. A special mention goes to the breakfast: prepared with love and care, it offers both sweet and savory options, all delicious and capable of making waking up even more pleasant. Here, time seems to slow down, leaving room for relaxation and well-being. And at the same time, the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area: just a few kilometers away are wonders like the Frasassi Caves or the Fabriano Paper Museum. A place that will stay in your heart, ideal for those who want to truly unwind and rediscover serenity in an authentic and welcoming environment. Highly recommended.

08/04/2026: Nice little place just a stone's throw from the historic centre of the small town of Monterosso. You can eat very well and spend very little.

20/04/2026: Are you looking for a scenic spot where you can eat well, with quality and quantity, not price? And close to the mountains and the beautiful Apennine landscape? You've found it. The road, though gravel, is also very wide and in excellent condition, even for a low city car like mine.
