Located in the main square of Sassoferrato, between the shadow of the Templar churches and the profile of the Rocca Albornoz, the tavern is a haven of beauty just a few kilometers from Genga and the Frasassi Caves, but Chef Luca Sbicca's cuisine is worth a pilgrimage in its own right.

The Hospitality: a very kind staff who knows how to move with grace, making guests feel part of an ancient history.
The Chef's Hand: Luca Sbicca is a thoroughbred personality. His cuisine is expressive, balanced, evocative, capable of transforming matter into memory.
The Taste: after the grilled splendor of May Day, the lightness and balance were a panacea.
- Eggplant parmigiana flan: with buffalo mozzarella on a basil coulis, a rare harmony.
- Grandma's meatballs: with veal in tomato and basil, a return to the essentials, authentic and profound.
- Tiramisu with Sardinian coffee-flavored ladyfinger, a memorable finale.
- The surprise: finding the house wine to be the Verdicchio "Stè" – by Stefano Antonucci – is a sign of a care for the guest that doesn't seek shortcuts, but offers only true quality.
The bill was fair, a pact of loyalty between those who offer their best and those who know how to recognize it.
A must-visit as soon as the nostalgia for this wonderful land returns.
A necessary destination between a sweet languor and the taste of excellence.

Elegant and excellent restaurant with welcoming and kind owners! The menu is rich in local products and dishes. We ordered two appetizers and two meat-based main courses. Excellent value. Highly recommended!

Paccheri alla Carbonara and tagliatelle are very good. As promised, the paccheri with crispy bacon are a true explosion of flavor, and the handmade tagliatelle are expertly crafted (reminiscent of those made by grandmothers). The pistachio semifreddo is also sublime.
Some dishes may not appeal to children.
