04/02/2026: Tried it on Monday for a last-minute family dinner without a reservation. We walked in and, to our pleasant surprise, were seated downstairs at a table next to a small room used as a children's room with toys and other necessities, so we could eat in peace and let our daughter play. The young, friendly staff were attentive to every request, which is definitely not a given these days. The food was good, with an excellent selection of meat, fish, and pizza, and the quality and price were reasonable. The chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream cups and raspberry mousse was a real highlight—it's not to be missed. Next time we're in Florence, we'll definitely be back. If I really had to find a flaw, it would be missing a children's menu, but that's okay. Recommended.

06/02/2026: Olio Restaurant is a very elegant place with perfect spacing between tables, always creating the perfect atmosphere. Choose this place for both a romantic dinner and a family dinner. The food is excellent, and the staff is young but very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The friendliness and kindness of the staff and Cassandra's attentive service completed the experience, making dinner with friends a unique experience... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... BOOK WELL IN ADVANCE.

09/10/2025: I discovered this restaurant through a restaurant reservation app. It focuses on very unique meat and fish dishes, with few vegetarian and vegan options. The wine list is extensive, making it almost difficult to choose. The welcome entree was delicious.

12/01/2026: We've been here several times over the years and have always had good food. I don't know if the management has changed (there were other people on the staff before), but we found ourselves in a deserted place on a Sunday evening (never happened before), with a staff of very young and obviously inexperienced people (the waitress was in a tracksuit as if we were at McDonald's). At the table facing the grill, the guy in charge of the meat stared at us the entire dinner without ever moving his gaze (he didn't have much to do since there were only 10 customers), making the dinner a bit anxious. Hearing the microwave bell ring before receiving the empanadas and melted cheese (in previous dinners, the plate where the cheese was brought was hot, this time it was cold) wasn't wonderful. When the meat arrived, we found the fillets cut in half (to check the cooking? Bha) I've never seen anything like that. The meat is no longer exceptional, but perhaps because of the incorrect cooking and not because of the quality, which remains good. Count? Generic wording for 2 fixed-price menus... when we dined à la carte for 4, it's impossible to know the actual bill in detail. Not at all satisfied with the evening and Dispitiuta, it was an excellent place, probably the last time we'll go back.
