02/08/2025: Eating well in Livigno, counterintuitively, is NOT easy at all. I've been frequenting this place for years and I've noticed a not-so-slow but inexorable decline in the quality of service, food, and relationships: perhaps it's overtourism... The S. Giovanni restaurant is a happy exception, discovered purely by chance and never abandoned: we've dined there four nights in a row since we "found" it, always experiencing friendliness, professionalism, a warm welcome, and authentic, tasty, and nutritious food—the kind your mother would cook for you (a mother who knows how to cook!!!). Fair prices, a casual and very warm atmosphere, and service that isn't always impeccable, but only because they're really crowded at peak times. There's room for improvement, and I'm sure they will. No, it's not (anymore) easy to eat well in Livigno, but people—many, many people—are learning to seek out and find the good mountain cuisine of the past in places like this, not settling for decoys that only lead to terrible experiences. I'll be back, we'll be back. Meanwhile, we send warm regards to the entire team and the very kind owner, wishing them continued success. E.D.

06/08/2025: A delightful little place, modern yet with a warm mountain atmosphere. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming. We stopped here several times for a snack (we had a restaurant in the hotel), so I can only speak about the desserts... and they are truly delicious! 😍 Highly recommended for a sweet treat.

01/08/2025: Beautiful hotel in the pedestrian area of Livigno. Wonderful welcome, the staff were incredibly kind and, above all, extremely helpful with everything. Excellent food, a delight for our palates... we've been staying in our beloved Livigno for many years, but I must say we've never eaten so well in any hotel. The raw materials were of the highest quality... we touched excellence. The bar and restaurant staff were extremely kind and always available to guests, and also very entertaining. The wellness center was a little gem... small but with everything you need... a pool, whirlpool, various saunas, ice fountain, and a relaxation area. The spa staff was very knowledgeable, frequently coming into the sauna area to check on guests and see if anything was missing... brilliant! The owners were always present at the hotel for a chat with guests. I'll conclude this review with just one word: "COMPLIMENTS." Highly recommended!

I'd definitely return for a special occasion, and not just that—it deserves a star. 16/07/2025: The mountain-style atmosphere is beautiful and refined. The staff, though very young, is well-trained, attentive, and very friendly. You feel welcomed and pampered. Excellent and beautifully presented food, with more than adequate portions. The dessert menu is superb! The price is more than fair. Keep it up, guys!

10/08/2025: Ho cenato al ristorante Calcheira in cinque occasioni durante la mia vacanza a Livigno in famiglia. Il cibo è buonissimo, abbiamo provato quasi tutto il menù e devo dire che tutti i piatti provati sono stati soddisfacenti. Davvero eccellente la carne, divina la tagliata di capriolo. Il locale è pulito e il servizio ottimo e veloce e il personale trasmette molta positività. Last but not least, ci tengo a sottolineare quanto sia buono il liquore di produzione del ristorante: leggero e perfetto a fine pasto.

25/07/2025: As whisky lovers, we were curious to visit this place and try some whisky. What makes it so nice is that this is foremost a cosy restaurant which our kids and partners enjoyed too, with a particularly friendly staff and owner, and only then an 'whiskeria'. Food was good and plenty. The semifredo cream with peated whisky is very nice, especially with an accompanying peated whisky which you can choose from the vast selection of open bottles, in 1 or 2 cl, served ina Glaincarn glass with some chocolate. Top notch!

30/07/2025: An excellent lunch at this pleasant restaurant, where we were greeted with extreme courtesy despite arriving ten minutes before closing time. We ordered unique dishes featuring local specialties; everything was delicious, made with quality ingredients, and beautifully presented. The house wine was full-bodied and perfectly complemented the dishes. Generous portions and very reasonable prices, considering it's right in the heart of the rather expensive Livigno. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return for the kindness of the staff and to sample other specialties of Livigno cuisine.

27/04/2025: I went to the Al Mond Véi restaurant and the experience was truly extraordinary. I tasted some exceptional pizzoccheri, prepared with quality ingredients and great care. The staff was very kind and very attentive, making me feel welcomed and pampered. The place is beautiful, authentic and full of typical atmosphere, perfect for enjoying fabulous traditional dishes. I highly recommend stopping here: it's really worth it! LUGANA Top fruit!

18/08/2025: A beautiful traditional restaurant, both inside and out in the summer. The sciatt and pizzoccheri are undoubtedly the best in Livigno, and to top it all off, they also have an excellent vegan menu. The attentive, kind, and friendly staff make the difference every time I return.

28/07/2025: Cena perfetta e ottima. Servizio un poco lento, ma come si dice le cose buone richiedono tempo...(vero Filippo ?). Ottimo il tagliere come antipasto. Unica pecca no hanno acqua Minerale ma acqua da depuratore, questo forse è intollerabile.
