06/04/2026: This was my third trip to Livigno but the first time that my family came with. The Mota hotel has a boutique feel and is in an excellent location - close to shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and the spa area is a wonderful experience after a day out on the slopes. We found all staff to be very helpful, well trained and super friendly. Although the hotel is not really a ski in/out, it is on the edge of the slope just in front of the yellow gondola and Max ski hire and ski school which is very convenient especially since this was my daughters’ first time in the snow. You do however have to walk onto and off the slopes but it is close enough not to be a pain. Getting to the Motolino side does need a short bus trip and since we wore comfortable snow board boots versus the clunky ski boots, the walk to and from the bus stop was not too bad. We had a wonderful family holiday in Livigno and would love to go back. The Mota Hotel will be a definite consideration for our next stay.

04/04/2026: We had a wonderful dinner for 12 with very friendly service. There was a slight mishap with our order, but it wasn't a problem at all. A quick solution was found. The food was delicious, whether pizza, pasta, or meat. They have an excellent wine list, and the prices are reasonable. When we indicated that we were about to finish, things unfortunately had to move very quickly. New guests arrived suddenly, and we barely had time to finish our drinks. That was a bit of a shame. All in all, though, it was a very enjoyable evening.

14/03/2026: Delicious pizza. One of the best I've ever eaten: La Nostra Pistacchiosa. Good crust, mortadella, burrata, finely ground pistachios. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Definitely recommended!!! We arrived today and will probably want to eat at Il Gufo again.

The cuisine is innovative and meticulously crafted: you can sense the research and dedication of Chef Attilio and his team in their attention to the finest ingredients. Every dish was an experience. Impeccable service, professional, friendly, and highly trained waiters. A perfect dinner for a special evening. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

19/03/2026: We ate there three times during the week. Very warm welcome, excellent service, excellent food. I'm not particularly a meat eater, but I must say their tagliata is the best I've had in years.

13/03/2026: Superb hotel at the foot of the slopes. The half-board service was excellent. Breakfast was very varied, and dinner was also very varied and plentiful. The rooms are spacious and functional, with very comfortable beds. The highlight was the wellness center with its hammam, sauna, and whirlpool bath. The staff were attentive and very professional; you feel right at home. I highly recommend it.
